He then remarked, "I wish we could scan it through the box, but we can't." I was shocked and disappointed--he could have simply asked me to place the items on the belt. To add insult to injury, when my fiancé picked up the box, Christopher joked, "It's always the little one that's strong," then turned to me and said, "You better watch out, she's going to beat you up," before laughing.
