After several other audiologists left the Dr.'s office, I came under Olivia's care. I find her to…read morebe very professional and thorough. We discussed my history and how I came finally get hearing aids. Olivia has extensive knowledge of the different hearing aid brands and where each have their strengths and weaknesses. A couple years after I started seeing her, she recommended I upgrade to a different brand--one that would be better suited for my type of hearing loss, and would provide a better hearing experience. She explained many of the options, and why she was selecting this particular brand and model. Hearing aids can be quite expensive, and I was reluctant, but went ahead, and I'm glad I did. I feel Olivia went out of her way during the fitting period (and after) to make sure that I was getting the most out of the aids. We tweaked, and would talk to hear the effects of the changes. We would talk about certain words, sounds, environments, etc that were problems for me, and she would either tweak my settings or programs. She always told me to call and come in if the recent changes were not helpful. She also scheduled six month visits to check in and make sure things were going as they should. It's obvious to me that she's passionate about Audiology and her client's hearing. I don't feel like just another appointment. I know she's going to treat me like I was her only appointment for the day. In addition to being very knowledgeable about the actual aids, she is very attune to the effects of hearing loss and we've had discussions about how to be aware of my environment, the other noises around me and how I can make little changes to get the most out of my hearing aids and improve my quality of life.

The demeanor of this audiologist was the worst I have ever witness in the health care profession…read more She made me feel that I was inadequate and was missing out on life. She had no consideration for the fact that I am the one who is living with the hearing loss not her. At one point I had to stop her rant on how I was being totally irresponsible in not getting a hearing aid, only to be told not to interrupt her. This was not a discussion about my quality of life, this was a discussion about her selling me a hearing aid. I found out that she is out of network for my insurance coverage and wonder if that was the reason she was treating me with less consideration? The rest of the office Drs. and staff are as sweet as can be, yet, beware of her cocky and hostile attitude.

This company Associates in Hearing Healthcare is BAD. It is not like that with the previous owner…read moreat all. The way it is now, they charge rip off prices for example almost $600.00 for just 2 half hearing aid molds I stupidly paid for it via my credit card and then the next day I realized the price was just outrageous. I asked for an immediate refund a manager there said I could get a refund by CHECK not by credit card (which was how I originally paid). She assured me I will get credit back in 2 weeks ! I NEVER got the refund at all and I followed up several more times then finally I called the owner via relay and asked for his cooperation in refunding me the money. He kept putting it off too and the check finally arrived today (a month later). DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL (so you do not experience this). Meanwhile I went elsewhere and had my molds done they did a fantastic job and the cost of these 2 half hearing aid molds were a fraction of the cost of this terrible Associates in Hearing Healthcare place. No wonder all the former workers under Elizabeth (previous owner who retired and sold the business) quit this place under new ownership. I have never ever experienced anything like the above before, and just want to let anyone know what this new place is like. Like other people say in the Reviews section this new place has totally went downhill they are right.

He claimed he also had tinnitus and that a $6000.00 hearing aid would help me at night. I gave a $3000.00 deposit. I left his office and thought what did I just do????????????? The next morning I emailed John & said I was overwhelmed & wanted to cancel the order. His response was come in and we will talk about it. I said I don't want to talk, I want my deposit back. I went to the office, returned the loaner hearing aid and again asked for my deposit back. After several emails and promises of mailing me a check, my deposit was never returned. I got in touch with my credit card company. I was refunded the money. The credit card company never received a response. I went on Amazon and for $20 got a head band that relieves the tinnitus while I sleep. STAY AWAY STAY FAR AWAY........
