    This company Associates in Hearing Healthcare is BAD. It is not like that with the previous owner…read moreat all. The way it is now, they charge rip off prices for example almost $600.00 for just 2 half hearing aid molds I stupidly paid for it via my credit card and then the next day I realized the price was just outrageous. I asked for an immediate refund a manager there said I could get a refund by CHECK not by credit card (which was how I originally paid). She assured me I will get credit back in 2 weeks ! I NEVER got the refund at all and I followed up several more times then finally I called the owner via relay and asked for his cooperation in refunding me the money. He kept putting it off too and the check finally arrived today (a month later). DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL (so you do not experience this). Meanwhile I went elsewhere and had my molds done they did a fantastic job and the cost of these 2 half hearing aid molds were a fraction of the cost of this terrible Associates in Hearing Healthcare place. No wonder all the former workers under Elizabeth (previous owner who retired and sold the business) quit this place under new ownership. I have never ever experienced anything like the above before, and just want to let anyone know what this new place is like. Like other people say in the Reviews section this new place has totally went downhill they are right.

He claimed he also had tinnitus and that a $6000.00 hearing aid would help me at night. I gave a $3000.00 deposit. I left his office and thought what did I just do????????????? The next morning I emailed John & said I was overwhelmed & wanted to cancel the order. His response was come in and we will talk about it. I said I don't want to talk, I want my deposit back. I went to the office, returned the loaner hearing aid and again asked for my deposit back. After several emails and promises of mailing me a check, my deposit was never returned. I got in touch with my credit card company. I was refunded the money. The credit card company never received a response. I went on Amazon and for $20 got a head band that relieves the tinnitus while I sleep. STAY AWAY STAY FAR AWAY........

    while I was sojourning in NJ my Windex Moment 440 left ear hearing aid malfunctioned. pleasant…read moreenough staff. I left aid for repair or replacement with the mfg I was told the fee was $350.00 [even though it was still under warranty]. The aid was allegedly shipped to mfg. I respect capitalism so I did not complain the last mold replacement was only [and still is] $100.00. The technician did indicate he was not familiar with the Widex brand The problems are as follows: [a] Ascent lost the aid while in its care with a nearly 30 day lapse and [b] created a new mold for the left ear which was vastly different from the original, bulkier and had only one hole [not 2] for routine maintenance cleaning. I left store with a very uncomfortable but minimally functional R/L hearing aid set. The 2 aids did not communicate properly, I suspect because of the incorrect mold on left ear I replaced said mold when I recently returned to Florida for $100.00. What are my issues: [1] the loss of the hearing aid was ascent's negligence [not mine] [2] the mold created was improper for the Widex hearing aid which could have been ordered from mfg and [3] Ascent took no effort that I am aware of to determine the hearing was and still is under warranty lessening the out of pocket cost to me. I cannot in good faith recommend this company for repairs of Widex hearing aids. You proceed at your own peril for other brands as my observations are universal
