First of all, I like the fact that they are in the same office building where they were 8 years ago, it makes me feel like they are a very stable group that's going to be here when you need them. Secondly, I never felt pressure with my new purchase. These things are expensive, and my health insurance even paid for part of it. And they offer a wide range of pricing on units, so it's totally your choice to go entry level or high end, they had positive things to say about all the units. The staff have all been very nice, the office is very attractive, and I'm six weeks in so I guess I'm getting used to them. I can't say that I love my hearing aids, because honestly I still can't tell a huge difference in my hearing... but I also wasn't too horrible with my hearing to start with. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 - but they are all really nice to work with. So if you think you need a little amplification in your life, give them a call.

What made it worse was witnessing the way she was spoken to during her care with Dr. Meadors. During an incredibly vulnerable and devastating moment, I heard my wife being yelled at by a physician and watched as she felt her concerns, emotions, and pregnancy loss were being dismissed. As her husband, I was shocked and outraged by the interaction. Other members of our family heard it as well and were equally disturbed. This was not simply my wife being emotional because of what she was experiencing. We witnessed the interaction ourselves. No woman going through the loss of a pregnancy should feel belittled, dismissed, or spoken to harshly by the medical professionals entrusted with caring for her. My wife deserved compassion, patience, professionalism, and dignity. Instead, she left the experience hurt and deeply disappointed, and as her husband, it was extremely upsetting to see her treated that way when she was already grieving. Our family will not forget this experience. Based on what I personally witnessed and how my wife was treated during such a vulnerable time, I cannot recommend this practice.

And they referred me to Dr. Sauvageau to check out my broken nose. I thought about getting a referral. I thought about getting a second opinion. But I didn't and immediately (the next Monday) secured an appointment with Dr. Sauvageau. Smartest move I ever made From the way I was greeting in the lobby to Brandy asking me in-take questions, I felt at home. And then I got to meet Dr. S. who advised me of the need for a 'nose job'. Again, I could have deferred and obtained referrals and/or a second opinion. But I felt comfortable with Dr. Sauvageau. I felt a connection. I dug his style. So a week later (allowing for me to 'be off' my blood thinner medication), I had the surgery and it went as well as one could hope for. And then, the icing on the ice....the tops of the pops....the super star of superstars......I came into the office to have some inserted plastic nose thingies taken out and I dealt with Madison.
