I bought top of the line Oticon hearing aids a number of years ago. I paid $6,000. Should have taken care of them. My hearing aids are out of warranty. I sincerely let my aids lapse. . Now Im experiencing more hearing loss. Marianne Mculogh the owner told me I could send them back to Oticon to refurbish them. She told me it would cost about $90 to send them back. Oticon would Probably have to charge me more to fix them. Cris said I had to layout $495 to send them back. She outright lied to me. Audiology and Hearing aids has good reviews . Maybe now that they are a chain called Living Well ( corporate America destroys people once again. )they start to take advantage of people, especially senior citizens like me. I called Oticon to express my dissatisfaction and the lady at Oticon offered to give me other hearing aid places to go and will file a complaint against Audiology and Haring aids, I spoke to a Monica at Oticon customer service. I also explained my batteries used to go one at a time...I would replace one battery on Saturday, for example and then on Tuesday for example I would haven't replace the other ones . Monica said it's possible that some batteries might be older .It never fails, hearing aid stores try to cheat people and this is one example.

All of his Dr.'s and specialists are at CHOP. Having 7 different specialists he sees regularly, no one has been able able to give us an answer. I was referred to Pennsylvania Ear Institute by my sons audiologist for a vestibular evaluation and not only he, but I as well, got way more than that. We were immediately greeted as a team approach consisting of Lindsay Bondurant and Bre Myers accompanied by a student. After being to hundreds of appointments with my son, I am thankful to honestly say this was the best I've EVER felt leaving an appointment. Our entire experience here has been so amazing that I wish Aiden could come here for everything! I've never felt so genuinely cared about nor have I ever felt so confident leaving an appointment that my child was under the best care available. Thank you PEI!!!!!

Dr. Grozalis saw me on time and had a nice demeanor for this first time patient. The most interesting part of his evaluation was seating me in a soundproof room, attaching headphones and handing me a handheld beeper to react whenever I heard sound/voice up and down the decibel chart. I was in there for 15 minutes as he took note of my deficiencies. There was definitely a mild hearing loss, and he recommended I see a medical specialist (ENT) to rule out any treatable medical condition before considering the option of a mechanical solution. Will do. Following up on his suggestion today. Why 4 out of 5? The testing seemed perfunctory and not particularly accurate and not every result was explained to me. Otherwise, I wasn't surprised by the outcome.

Dr. Mallen was personable and to the point. He asked pertinent questions and listened to my…read moreanswers. After testing he advised of hearing loss in my right at lower frequencies most likely due to a virus I was unaware I had about six months ago. He went through other possible causes and logically ruled them out. He could run more tests, but in his experience they were unnecessary as he was 99% certain of his diagnosis given lack of other symptoms and my age. Bottom line choices were two; do nothing and see him in a year, or check out what a small hearing device might do to improve the situation. Made sense. I took an appointment to explore that option in a few weeks in the same office with Bucks Mercer Hearing Centers. No charge for the introduction to the variety of technology available today. Everyone in the office was pleasant from front desk, to audiologist, to Dr. Mallen, to last stop for next appointments. The facility looked a bit worn after 30+ years of use, but my professional office looks no better. 5 Well Heard Stars
