Deductible charge 2018, $5. 2019 - $129.... I don't think that's all my insurance... I'll wait one day and go to another clinic for free.

I would never return to Valley Oaks Medical, and I do not recommend them. My experience at both the…read moreEastern location and the Sun City location in Las Vegas was extremely disappointing. At the Eastern office, I felt I was treated differently because I'm not Hispanic and don't speak Spanish. The service was unprofessional, and I left feeling ignored and uncomfortable. I decided to give the Sun City location a chance, but it was just as bad. I waited two hours to see the doctor, and she spent barely 15 minutes with me. When I tried to explain my symptoms and concerns, she dismissed everything and told me I was "too young" to have anything wrong -- simply because most of their patients in that area are older. She ordered a lot of bloodwork but didn't explain any of it. When I asked questions, she brushed me off and told me to take collagen and vitamins because I'm in my 40s. That had nothing to do with what I was actually feeling. She even made a rude comment when I asked about testosterone levels, instead of educating me respectfully. Both locations showed poor communication, lack of professionalism, and a complete disregard for patient concerns. If you're going to work in healthcare, you should care about people -- not stereotype them based on age, race, or language. This was unacceptable, and I will not be returning.

I scheduled an appointment for a physical and a 10-panel drug test required by my nursing program. Several fellow students recommended this place because they bill insurance directly, which helps when trying to manage multiple school-related expenses. Unfortunately, the experience was not worth the convenience. When I arrived, I was the only patient in the waiting area, yet I was ignored for over five minutes while the front desk staff continued a personal phone conversation. My appointment was at 2:25 PM, and I waited for almost two hours without being seen or given any updates. It wasn't until I said I had to leave due to another obligation that I was finally told the doctor was still out on lunch, something they failed to mention when I checked in. The facility itself is visibly run-down, the supplies look outdated, and the environment felt unprofessional and chaotic. The back office staff seemed visibly unhappy and disengaged, which only added to the discomfort of the experience. Before I left, I returned to the front desk to confirm that my insurance would not be billed since I was never seen by the doctor. I asked calmly and respectfully, explaining that I would be contacting my insurance to make sure the visit wasn't processed. The response I received was shocking and entirely inappropriate. The front desk staff member (whose name I did not catch) but I will attach a picture of her in the review she than replied, "You shouldn't be so picky -- you have Medicaid. You need to remember that." That kind of comment is not only offensive but discriminatory. Insurance status should never determine how someone is treated in a healthcare setting. Medicaid is legitimate health coverage, and providers are compensated accordingly. I have the same right to professional, respectful care as anyone else, regardless of the insurance I carry. If this clinic has an issue with Medicaid patients, they should not be in-network. I recorded part of the interaction and immediately contacted my insurance provider to file a formal complaint. I was informed that an investigation will be initiated. Medicaid does not tolerate providers who treat patients unfairly based on their coverage. In hindsight, I would have rather paid out-of-pocket at a reputable urgent care like CareNow for a far better experience. I do not recommend this facility to anyone, especially students or individuals expecting timely, respectful, and ethical care.

We had such a great experience at UMC Quick Care - Peccole Ranch!…read more I brought my husband in with a dislocated shoulder and he was in a lot of pain, sweating and really uncomfortable. I checked in at the touchscreen and within about 15 minutes they already took him to the back. While I was finishing paperwork, Shae at the front desk was so friendly and attentive--she really helped calm things down. Then she brought me back to the room where my husband was already talking with Dr. Hansen. Dr. Hansen was awesome--he explained everything clearly and walked us through all the options so we could decide what to do. After that, Melisa took him for X-rays and everything just kept moving smoothly. Big thanks to Nurse Edric and Dr. Hansen who got his shoulder back in place right away, and to Virginia and Medel for taking such good care of him during the process. Everyone was kind, efficient, and really on top of things. What started as a stressful situation ended up being such a smooth and positive experience. I'm beyond happy with the care we received and would definitely recommend this place!

Went back to remove the stitches, and met a Rn, very kind and professional as well. The whole process was fast and smooth, and they took care of me even if it was not part of my insurance coverage quick care . Definitely recommend this location!
