I can't thank this place enough! They were so kind! The receptionist was extremely helpful and Christian took such good care of me! I came in thinking I would need stitches, freaking out, and left laughing with Christian cleaned my cut up and secured it. He couldn't not have been more professional and calming! He knew I was freaked out and totally eased all of my concerns! I am from out of town so I was scared to be injured and away from home. I'm so thankful Christian was my doctor. Thank you!!!!

I had food poisoning and needed Zofran (anti nausea medication) before my flight. I was examined and treated by Christian. He was so good, examination was thorough his bedside manner was great. Clinic was clean. Would definitely go there again if needed.

When in a pickle, I have had reason to use Minute Clinics at CVS a couple times over the years…read more Most of the time it is when I cannot get over the hump of the flu/cold after many days, I cannot get to my regular physician and I am pressed for time in my life. It can be a challenge when I do not have an appointment that I would have scheduled on the CVS website, but my advice to a walk-in is be the first on the walk-in schedule for a day if at all possible. It is worth showing up early when they open, because as the day goes on they refuse walk-ins when they are booked and busy. Always know it is best to have an appointment. This was a couple months ago that I was sick and needed care. I walked in as a walk-in at 8:30am and was called in at 9:40am, with people ahead of me with appointments. Wait times happen, welcome to healthcare in America, so come prepared with your I-phone, or laptop or a book. The wait is a small inconvenience to knowing I will get scripts to make me feel better in the coming hours/days...I need to get on with my life. Lou is the medical person that I have seen on several occasions when I need the MinuteClinic. I actually remember her from the Walgreens clinic across the street where she worked many moons ago before Walgreens closed that part of their pharmacy and stopped offering quick care. She is efficient, professional, quick to diagnose, compassionate and gets me out the door with a script promptly, all while I feel like she was not rushing. A script that I can then easily fill right there are the CVS pharmacy. Very convenient. Waiting area is relatively spaced out with chairs and you can always be standing further away near the retail space if germs are an issue. There is no person to check you in, you check in on their kiosk portal in their waiting area. I have gone the route of Telehealth with CVS and due to misdiagnosis, had to walk into the CVS clinic after about a week of no progress in recovery. As such, I am glad this location is here, with a real person like Lou to assist when I am pressed for time and cannot really get in to see my regular physician.

He went this morning and the check in said, walk-ins welcome. He tried to check in and at the end, it said no walkins available. When he stoped the check ins, the kiosk said, walkins welcome. He did htis several times w/o luck. Third day and no help. He made an appt. but I highly recommend not doing a walk-in as it is a crap shoot. If the appt is a bust, stay tuned for another review.

I would never return to Valley Oaks Medical, and I do not recommend them. My experience at both the…read moreEastern location and the Sun City location in Las Vegas was extremely disappointing. At the Eastern office, I felt I was treated differently because I'm not Hispanic and don't speak Spanish. The service was unprofessional, and I left feeling ignored and uncomfortable. I decided to give the Sun City location a chance, but it was just as bad. I waited two hours to see the doctor, and she spent barely 15 minutes with me. When I tried to explain my symptoms and concerns, she dismissed everything and told me I was "too young" to have anything wrong -- simply because most of their patients in that area are older. She ordered a lot of bloodwork but didn't explain any of it. When I asked questions, she brushed me off and told me to take collagen and vitamins because I'm in my 40s. That had nothing to do with what I was actually feeling. She even made a rude comment when I asked about testosterone levels, instead of educating me respectfully. Both locations showed poor communication, lack of professionalism, and a complete disregard for patient concerns. If you're going to work in healthcare, you should care about people -- not stereotype them based on age, race, or language. This was unacceptable, and I will not be returning.

Unlike PCPs, Optum U.C. is open 24-7; usually not crowded; and equipped to do x-rays, CAT scans, etc., during the same visit. Optum U.C. stitched up my bleeding eyebrow from when I fell off my bicycle landing on my head, they examined a 4-year-old lesion in my upper-left earlobe later diagnosed by an ANTI Reservoir Dogs dermatologist as cancer, and they now have me well on my way to recovery from a 3-week lingering dry cough. Besides being impressed with the professional/friendly service from front desk to doctors, I constantly refer to Optum's easy-to-read, 5-page report of everything that transpired -- invaluable toward ensuring consistent successful outcomes for me.
