This place was excellent. Came in for a strep test. They opened promptly at 10 AM. Friendly staff. They saw me right away. The nurse practitioner, Christian, was phenomenal. He checked me out promptly and talked about a number of items, even some not related, and I just thought that he gave great advice. He was very detailed in everything he said. He told me everything he was going to do. He administered the strep test better than anybody has done before. I wish more medical professionals were like this. My symptoms were worsening so I decided to walk in and be seen. Eleanor the MA was attentive, professional and very helpful. Christian did a thorough exam, was kind and had a courteous bedside manner. I was diagnosed, prescribed my treatment and my meds were called into the 24 hour pharmacy. Sick people beware, don't go here, they don't take insurance, way overcharge for the quality of care ($250 to just walk in the door) and up charge for any necessary care, I had a cold that caused my ears to become plugged up, and they charged me $75 to care for one ear and said they didn't have the time to do the second. They then sent my prescription to a pharmacy that was not close and in a bad area with a line of 15 people. When I eventually talked to the pharmacist they said they didn't have my script yet so I left, when I called quick fix back later in the week they refused to send it to another pharmacy closed to me, they actually told me walgreens filled it and gave it to someone which is a total lie, and said I would have to come back. BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!!!! I would rate them a 0 do not go here. They do not except any insurance and will tell you that you can send it to your insurance and they will reimburse you this is not true. They way over charge and do not even treat you for what's wrong. We took my daughter pretty sure when we took her what was wrong they would not test her for strep said it was a viral infection. He said he see's it a lot in people who are traveling. So $275 for there visit and then $200 dollars for meds that didn't even help her. Had to take her to the doctor when we got home and get the correct medicine for strep so she could get better. It's a quack in a box!!!!!!! I had a great experience at this Urgent Care. It doesn't even feel like an urgent care - it's clean and the staff were friendly. Robin, NP who stitched me up did an excellent job. I'm squeemish at blood and needles but she was calm and confident and distracted me with talking about other things. Christian was very helpful in answering questions and prescribing drops. The one thing I will tell you is that this place does not except insurance.
