What I like about CareSpot is that I was able to make my appointment online. I did the hold my spot in line for 10:45am. This is because no appointments were available til the afternoon. I arrived and didn't get any hassle about being from out of state. I was seen within 45 minutes of my appointment. The team and doctors were knowledgeable. My only complaint is that they didn't dig deeper for a diagnosis. What I said is what they treated. But he gave me a list of home remedies for sore throat and nasal congestion. I'd recommend this CareSpot to others.

Three days later I kept getting worse and had to go back. Another $180. What a waste. They tested me positive for the flu. The doctors were nice, but the front desk attendant was not friendly or helpful at all. I would never go back here.

I transferred my prescription over the EMed Pharmacy last month, mainly because the location is so close to work and home. I was actually happy with the whole process to get my prescription transferred. All they needed was some personal information, my old pharmacy and meds I was needing and they pharmacy took care of the rest. I was able to pick up my prescription later that afternoon. I wish the whole process was seamless as getting into their system. This month was a totally different experience. I found out that they don't do automatic refills on prescriptions. Which means every month you have to call in the refill. Also the pharmacy is closed on weekends. And the phone number listed on their website, only links to the Walk-In Clinic, so when you call the number instead of transferring you to the pharmacy, they give you a second number to call. However, the people in the actual pharmacy are helpful, fast and polite. I was able to call in my prescription and pick it up within a couple of hours. The pharmacy, is always clean which is huge plus. Overall I'm undecided if I will return back next month. I like the convenience of CVS and Walgreens ie the automatic refills, and hours. But the location of the of this pharamcy is perfect. And once you do get connected to the correct department, they are friendly an helpful. It's too bad the practices aren't streamlined and the customer service is lacking in the other departments.

All of a sudden she changed her tune and told me she could do lab work and "might" be able to write an order for a stool sample, although she had never done that before. I received the lab results from quest the next day and it said my results were "specimen integrity compromised". I figured the results were null and void. The next day Maria called to tell me my results. She said nothing about the results being compromised and told me my glucose was a "little low" (it was 42!)!!! She said nothing about my carbon dioxide being low although that was a concern for me. When I dropped my stool sample off at Quest, it was the wrong container! I will NEVER go back to this Carespot!

This one (Monument Rd) required a chest xray though my dr had listed what he wanted from this exam and an xray was not part of it. I tried to explain this to the office staff who was very rude and adamant that their policy is I would have to get that xray for them to clear me. Even the office manager said I had to have the xray. While I was sitting in the lobby, I called the CareSpot at 410 Atlantic Blvd to ask if they require a chest xray for this pre cataract clearance. The person answering the phone thought that funny/odd. She said they do not require anything that the dr didn't specify was needed. So, I walked out of the one on Monument Road where everyone I encountered was rude to have a totally opposite experience at this one. ( I don't understand how on earth the policies can be so different at the various locations from the same company.). Every staff member here was very polite and professional. The exam was just as ordered by my doctor with no requirement for unnecessary tests. The lobby was very clean (opposite from Monument Rd) and calming.
