I caught a virus shortly before my granddaughter was born. In order to be present/meet my…read moregranddaughter soon after she was born and NOT risk giving her what I had (unknown at that time) I decided to visit this location of Carespot as opposed to waiting for my doctor to give me an appointment. The staff here had designated a specific door for "sick" individuals and "all others" entered through another door. I'm not sure if it was designated that we sit on opposing sides of the lobby, but it definitely seemed that way. The staff here seemed to truly care for & about the patients and they each took their time to determine the severity of each patient's concerns. Thankfully, this location had an opening and I was able to be seen quickly. After negative covid, flu, and strep tests, I was able to tell my family that I was ok, Just needed to treat the symptoms, and able to meet my granddaughter an hour after she arrived!

I came to the clinic seeking care for severe abdominal pain, nausea, and extremely painful…read moreurination, symptoms that can indicate a potentially serious infection or other urgent medical condition. After checking in and paying $100 for the visit, I waited to be seen by Dr. Christina. When Dr. Christina entered the room, she spent approximately one minute with me before advising that if my symptoms worsened, I should go to the hospital. Aside from briefly speaking with me, there was very little evaluation or discussion of my symptoms, and no clear treatment plan or next steps were explained. I did provide a urine sample, and we were told that the results would take 5-7 days and that we would receive a call with the results. However, given the severity of my symptoms, being told simply to wait for results while also being advised to go to the hospital if things worsened was confusing and concerning. Because I had essentially been told I might need hospital care, my husband went to the front desk to politely ask if there was any possibility of a refund or billing adjustment, since I had not received meaningful treatment and would still potentially need to seek care elsewhere. At that point, Dr. Christina returned to the room and spoke to me in a hostile and confrontational tone. When I attempted to calmly explain the situation, she snapped at me and told me that I was in the wrong. When my husband returned to the room, he asked Dr. Christina to clarify whether she had advised us to go to the hospital. Dr. Christina then raised her voice and denied having said this, which directly contradicted what both of us had just heard moments earlier. When my husband expressed surprise at being spoken to that way, we were told that we needed to leave the clinic immediately. The situation escalated further when a clinic manager referred to my husband as a "jerk." Being spoken to this way by medical staff while seeking care for severe pain was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. Additionally, before leaving the clinic, I did not receive the doctor's note or prescriptions that were supposed to be provided, which added further confusion and frustration to the situation. In addition to these concerns, the condition of the clinic itself appeared unsanitary and poorly maintained, which raised additional concerns about the overall standards of the facility. I am deeply concerned not only about the way we were treated, but also about the lack of clear communication, professionalism, and follow-through during the visit, especially considering the seriousness of the symptoms I presented with. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed by clinic leadership. I would also appreciate clarification regarding the billing for this visit, as well as information about any steps that will be taken to address the conduct described above. Patients should feel safe, respected, and properly cared for when seeking medical attention. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. If you want, I can also help you add one very strategic paragraph that often gets clinics to refund visits quickly because it subtly signals the complaint could go to regulators or insurance audits. It's extremely effective but still professional

Very disappointing experience…read more We had a very bad experience during our visit today. After checking in, we waited in the lobby for several minutes before staff called us into an exam room, where a male provider and a nurse were present. The provider asked questions, and we answered them. My child's symptoms were clearly visible on her face (a rash). I even asked whether antibiotics might be needed. No explanation was given, and we were sent to another room. After waiting more than an hour with no one checking on us, I pressed the nurse call button and asked what was going on and what we were waiting for. Later, another staff member came in, examined my child, and said she would prescribe an antibiotic. At that point, I was already frustrated by the long wait and asked, "Why wasn't this done in the first place, and why were we waiting so long?" Instead of apologizing or providing a professional explanation, she responded very rudely, saying: "He wasn't a doctor; he was a nurse and cannot prescribe medication. I am the doctor, and we have a lot of patients." However, this statement was not true. According to the visit documentation: * Justin Nippert, DO, is a licensed physician (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine). * Jessica Rachael Holder, APRN, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. This means the male provider present earlier was in fact the doctor, and the person who spoke to me later was not a doctor. I also recall that Dr. Nippert prescribed medication for my other child during a previous visit several months ago. To make matters worse, when I went to the pharmacy, one of the prescribed medications was not covered by our insurance. Instead of waiting for the pharmacy to contact the provider and request a substitute, I had to pay out of pocket to avoid further delays in my child's treatment. Being given incorrect information, spoken to rudely, left waiting without communication, and placed in a situation that caused unnecessary out-of-pocket expense is unacceptable. Due to this experience and the lack of professionalism, I do not want this provider to treat my family again.

He listened to my concerns attentively and promptly addressed the most important one--ensuring that my prescription was filled. He also assured me that my other concerns would be addressed. I appreciate that he reached out personally and quickly, rather than responding with a generic message. He was professional and apologetic about my experience at the facility, which I truly value.

I visited the Hodges location this morning for care. However, after the greeting and interaction I…read morehad with the front desk employee, I opted to cancel my appointment due to lack of confidence in this facility. Not only did the person at the front desk infer (and directly state) I was fighting with her because I questioned the charge, her lack of knowledge about the insurance process made me feel uncomfortable with the competence of the front office staff -- and potentially the doctors -- at this facility. When I mentioned my concerns, she said she was new and had been trained to say this to patients who questioned the charge. She said she didn't want to fight with me about this, which I found disconcerting as I was not fighting. I just asked why I was being charged when my deductible had been met. She explained that my individual deductible had been met, but not my family one. I questioned this interpretation, as this is not how the deductible is defined, based on my experience and my visits to other health care providers. She repeated that she was not going to fight with me, then in a curt tone, she said I would be getting a bill from my insurance company. The term "fighting" along with her attitude toward me -- and what this said about the quality of care I might receive at this location -- made the decision to find care elsewhere an easy one. And I left.

I live an hour away, but heard good things about laski.. I was scheduled for 1030 and told I would be out by 12 so I would be able to pick up my child from school on time. I was also led to believe my payment would be $55. When I arrived today for my appointment at 1030, I was told to take a seat and he'd call me. He finally called for me around 11:10 and gave me paperwork. When I finished the paperwork I asked how long it would be he said these appointments are 3 hours long and there's no way I'll be out before 1245/1, which is when my daughter gets out of school. The man said he'd do the best he could, the told me my payment is $350. They lied to me about the amount of time the appointment would take as well as the price and showed no remorse. They wasted more than 3 hours of my time and more than $25 in gas for me. You go to a doctor for help. You should be able to trust what their office staff says. Very disappointed.
