I was disappointed with my experience…read more I brought my daughter here because a friend recommended this practitioner for treating menstrual cramps. Before our first visit, I specifically asked when would be the best time in her menstrual cycle to receive acupuncture for menstrual pain, but my question was not really answered. During the first visit, the practitioner told us that my daughter had a neck/cervical spine issue and treated her neck instead of her menstrual cramps. Since he seemed to feel that the neck issue was important, I went along with his recommendation. We came back for a second appointment specifically to treat her menstrual cramps. I clearly explained that this was the reason for our visit, but he still chose to treat her neck again without really discussing the options with us. After two treatments, my daughter said that her neck felt a little better immediately after the acupuncture, but the symptoms returned after she got home, with no noticeable lasting improvement. The treatment was also painful for her, and she has become hesitant about acupuncture because of this experience. We drove over an hour for each visit and spent more than $200 because we specifically wanted treatment for her menstrual cramps. Unfortunately, after two visits, her menstrual cramps had not been treated, and the neck treatment did not result in any lasting improvement either. I understand that practitioners may have their own treatment recommendations, and I would have appreciated an explanation if he believed her neck should be treated first. I wish I had been given the choice of what to treat, rather than having that decision made for us. I'm sharing my experience so that other patients and parents know to communicate clearly about their treatment goals and make sure they understand the treatment plan before starting treatment.

What an unpleasant experience both times I was there. The first time, they claimed that there weee…read moresome computer issues so I ended up waiting more than 30min (I was the only person there). The second time, and most recently, I walked in and noticed 3 people waiting. I tried signing into the kiosk but my record was not in the system. When I mentioned this to the receptionist, she abruptly told me to just wait. After 45 minutes, no one had moved from their line. I asked what's going on and was told that their computer was down. Instead of coming out and explaining this with an apology, she seemed irritated that I even raised this issue. Ms. Everett - I was told this is the manager's name - please be considerate of patients and take some steps to properly train your staff. A simple explanation with an apology can go a long way for most patients who are asked to wait for an extended period of time. The dark-haired woman whom I spoke with should not be in a patient-facing role without significant training on empathy, compassion, and simple customer service.

I was in route as my husband was pretty sick. Bernadette answered the phone and told me to 'go ahead and turn around and don't bother coming in' and that they are not taking any more patients today. I've been in the health profession for 38 years and worked in an emergency department for 15 and never talked to any patient like that. Staff needs to be reminded that people are in distress when coming there, and a nice tone certainly goes a long way.

Dr. Brannon's research, which is well documented in his books, is indisputable. Two weeks after my first pellet placement in October 2020, my physical and emotional health, and my quality of life improved significantly and dramatically. I was depressed, sad, moody, fatigued and riddled with body aches and pains. Pellets address every single awful malady that I was experiencing. The office is conveniently located with easy parking and great hours. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I recommend Optimal Bio without reservation. You owe it to yourself to feel your best and to enjoy your life! I'm 71 years old.

Looks like 2 pellets were placed just below the skin. One broke almost immediately and was partly removed by staff. However an open wound persisted and another pellet popped out. The wound tract has not closed and has been open and discharging on my glute for over 5 weeks. I have not been able to exercise and have lost muscle and endurance due to the inactivity. Optimal Bio has done little to rectify the situation. I am still wearing gauze on the wound to catch discharge and hopefully keep it from getting infected. I am quite dissatisfied with the level of care and may just go to my primary care to address before it gets infected . When Dr Brannon was alive I don't think this would have happened but since he passed I feel like this complication due to a botched placement is just kind of ignored. It really makes me question whether the pellets are still the way to go
