Alyson was friendly, communicative and took vitals and history. I was seen by a nurse practitioner, who also was friendly and asked about the symptoms and prescribed some meds. In and out in 30 minutes. The waiting area is somewhat dated but spacious. There is plenty of free parking outside. I'll keep coming back and I recommend.

Like all doctor appointments, arrive about 15 minutes early to go through the registration process (there at the kiosk). I told them it was supposed to be $50 and they gave me the option of either paying the $65 or not getting it done here. Also, my school requires a specific form. They insisted on also doing all the things on their standard form that aren't needed for my school. Finally, I arrived early for my appointment, was put in an exam room, and waited 45min for the provider to see me. Altogether, I spent over an hour to get a couple signatures on a form for my university. Definitely do not recommend.

Just go to Riverview Urgent Care - I made the mistake of going to the Minute Clinic for a bad cough…read more/ head cold and was really just looking for a prescription for a Z-PAC to help. The person I saw told me my Pulse Ox was too low and I should go to the ER. They wouldn't do anything at that point nor would they provide a prescription. She told me I likely would not be billed but of course, I ended up paying over $90 for no services. Then I went to the Riverview ER/Urgent care but they took me on the urgent care side. Ended up giving me the same pulse ox test and said it was a little low but not as low as CVS said. I ended up speaking with a real Dr. and he had me take a chest x-ray to be safe. All was negative and they gave me the Z-Pak prescription and the bill for the urgent care was about double minute clinic because of the X-Ray but would have been about the same without it for much better service.

The immediate care doctors, nurses, and MAs are very knowledgeable and always give great patient education. If you're lucky I'll be one of the gals taking care of you. You do not need an appointment for the Immediate care, but here are some tips: * Immediate care does not mean ER or URGENT. If you bleeding to death, have chest pains, spiking a fever over 103 or have something life threatening, GO TO THE ER. * The immediate care does not do followup maintenance for things like hypertension, diabetes, or any type of conditions that need to be monitored. But lucky for you, this location has a wonderful family practice/internal med and pediatric primary care doctors. So if you are sick or have conditions we can take care of, stop on by! I promise I am the best throat swabber and I give painless shots! :P
