I got bitten by a stray, and a lot of friends told me just to get the full course of rabies shots will cost me upwards of P5000. I did get my first shot at a private clinic across the street from QC City Hall and it cost me P800 for the vaccine and the consultation fee. However, I managed to line up (it wasn't a long queue) in this health center and was given shots absolutely free! I just had to show proof that I lived in QC. Bookmark this location for your safety and convenience. If you live in the QC area, don't look anywhere else for rabies shots as this place can give it to you for free. This is where your taxes go.

The anti rabies vaccine is free alright. But when I went there, the vaccine was out of stock. The…read moresleepy employee told me that she does not know when new stocks will be delivered. She even suggested that I consult with Topmed clinic which is right across the street from their no good treatment center. That left me with no choice. So go to Topmed I went. This is the kind of service you get from Quezon City government. Swerti swerti lang. QC govt is full of hype about what they do to QC residents but when you go there to avail of their service, it is usually not available. QC councilors are only an excellent bunch when it comes to passing tax ordinances to burden their constituents.

2 hour wait for drug test on a weekday morning, and no the waiting room was not crowded. This is…read moreafter they turned me away yesterday because they didn't have enough staff who could help (I went when they opened).... they don't even allow you to wait in the car. I've never had a worse experience at a healthcare facility. Won't ever return again. PS- Clarissa who helps with the testing is the boss and is the only saving grace. Give her a raise!!

Stay away from this place. I went in for a simple drug test for a job. I've had six or seven drug…read moretests for employment over the course of my career, and never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes to provide my sample for the test. I called ahead to make sure they had the test kit sent by my employer. I asked if I needed an appointment, and they said no. When I got there, they were confused about how to process the form that my employer had provided. Then, once they figured out how to process the form, they told me to wait in the waiting room. Nearly 2 hours later, I asked how much longer it was going to be. They said it would be another 2 hours "or more." They have no system to prioritize people who just need quick drug tests, so I was lumped in with all of their other patients. As I said, all of my previous drug tests took all of 10-15 minutes from start to finish. When I asked the receptionist with whom I'd spoken on the phone why she told me I did not need an appointment, she answered that she said this because they had no more appointments when I called! When I asked her why she didn't bother to mention that on the phone, she became annoyed and dismissive. One of the two other receptionists chimed in that it takes up to 4 hours to get a drug test at their clinic. Only one of the receptionists acted like she gave a hoot about service, and she apologized for the delay and the misunderstanding. But the two other receptionists acted like they could not care less about their jobs or the time I had wasted waiting for a drug test that takes 2-3 minutes to do. When I suggested to the receptionist who checked me in that she should tell people that they might have to wait up to 4 hours to get a drug test, she snidely said that I could tell my employer this. Oh, I did, and they are removing this place from their list of drug-test sites.
