I work in the Er and my little this cold aches broken down toe can be taken care of at medexpress and save the bed in the Er for the really sick peoples. They took 199.00 at the front b/c my insurance did not cover their care. They could not treat me and told me I would be refunded. I chased them for MONTHS never got a refund! The doc and staff in the back were very nice but as soon as the doc told me he could not treat me and I need to go to the ER, they should have IMMEDIATELY reversed that charge. read more

2 hour wait for drug test on a weekday morning, and no the waiting room was not crowded. This is after they turned me away yesterday because they didn't have enough staff who could help (I went when they opened).... they don't even allow you to wait in the car. Stay away from this place. I went in for a simple drug test for a job. I've had six or seven drug tests for employment over the course of my career, and never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes to provide my sample for the test. I called ahead to make sure they had the test kit sent by my employer. I asked if I needed an appointment, and they said no. When I got there, they were confused about how to process the form that my employer had provided. Then, once they figured out how to process the form, they told me to wait in the waiting room. Nearly 2 hours later, I asked how much longer it was going to be. They said it would be another 2 hours "or more." They have no system to prioritize people who just need quick drug tests, so I was lumped in with all of their other patients. As I said, all of my previous drug tests took all of 10-15 minutes from start to finish. When I asked the receptionist with whom I'd spoken on the phone why she told me I did not need an appointment, she answered that she said this because they had no more appointments when I called! When I asked her why she didn't bother to mention that on the phone, she became annoyed and dismissive. One of the two other receptionists chimed in that it takes up to 4 hours to get a drug test at their clinic. Only one of the receptionists acted like she gave a hoot about service, and she apologized for the delay and the misunderstanding. But the two other receptionists acted like they could not care less about their jobs or the time I had wasted waiting for a drug test that takes 2-3 minutes to do. When I suggested to the receptionist who checked me in that she should tell people that they might have to wait up to 4 hours to get a drug test, she snidely said that I could tell my employer this. Oh, I did, and they are removing this place from their list of drug-test sites. read more

This is my go to urgent care office, convenient to my home. We'll today there was no staff - 8:00am and they were turning patients away . They directed me to the other office on broad St. I never made it inside sat in my car for 45 minutes and was phoned and advised there is no X-ray tech in that office. Disappointing! The first time I was turned away they said that they did not accept my insurance. I had the flu. I called my insurance to verify this and my insurance stated that this place does accept my insurance. My insurance representative said they would be willing to talk to them but I was too sick to deal with it and decided to go to another urgent care. The second time I was turned away, they said they did not have X-ray capability at the time so they could not see me. Not going back anymore. It's a waste of my time. read more

I have never in my life received such disrespectful "care" from a doctor. I went for a drug screening for work. The doctor on duty asked me to pick a cup to pee in. I said "what? What do you mean?" All he said in return was "pick a cup." I have never been told that before, have always just been given a cup and that was that. Again I asked "why do I have to pick a cup? I just don't understand because I have never had to do that." He quickly grew irritated and raised his voice at me saying "JUST PICK A CUP." It was very uncomfortable. The receptionist that checked me in was also very disrespectful and had an attitude for whatever reason. I struggle with autism and just felt like I wasn't wanted there, so it was very difficult and uncomfortable. And like others said, I waited about 2 hours before being seen. There is zero compassion at this location. These doctors and other staff need some serious sensitivity training. And to the business owner, do not bother replying to this review by pretending to be concerned. Clearly nothing has or will be done to better the hospitality from your staff. My first time here and my last time here. Came in not feeling well and witness them telling a client that they had to hold their pee cup until they went back to see someone. Overall, I had a poor experience at this urgent care. I went to get tested for COVID-19 multiple times as it was the most convenient place for me to get tested. The first time I went, they person I spoke with told me that the test would be free of charge with my insurance (this was incorrect). The second time I went to get tested, the person told me there was a $20 fee; I asked why, and then they told me I had to pay for the previous time even though I had already been told it was free. Like what? I was very frustrated to say the least, but seeing as I needed to get tested, I paid the $40 and went home. I needed one more test with them (and trust me, this will be the last time I ever go back to get tested here). Unfortunately and frustratingly, the person I spoke with told me that I had to pay for the previous time too - apparently I didn't pay for that time? Even though I had? It was even in my statements, but I ended up paying an extra $20. Overall, I found it quite frustrating due to the lack of communication. I don't mind paying for these tests, but when I already have and am also told that they are free of charge initially, it is quite annoying from the patients' perspective. Other than that, the wait times were also pretty long. The staff I worked with to get the test done itself were very friendly and nice, and I'm sure that the clinic offers a breadth of services for its patients that are very good. However, my experience with the administration/customer service left a sour taste in my mouth, which is why I will be looking for a different urgent care in the case that I need to be tested for COVID again. read more

Visited this particular location because the one I visited previously was closed. I was apprehensive due to the bad reviews, but have only positive things to report about my experience. The staff was friendly and helpful - on the phone and in person. I was checked in quickly and there was less than a 10 minute wait for service. Went for a pre-employment drug screen on a Sunday morning and was one of two people in the waiting room. Front desk staff didn't seem to have any sense of urgency. Was told it would be a 45 minute wait, and was "up next" for an hour and a half. When asked how much longer it will take, they told me up to two more hours. I was then informed they had one care provider on staff. I understand the surplus of paperwork needed for every patient. I was told when I came in for an appointment that the wait would be 2 hours. I'm going into my 3rd hour of waiting and have yet to be seen. I was told over an hour ago that I was the next appointment. I will NEVER come to this facility again. The service is horrible. I waited 2 hours for a Covid test. When it was finally my turn, they informed me they were out of rapid tests and only had tests that take several days to come back. They should have known how many tests they had available, and not given me a time slot if they were going to run out. Once I finally got my test (again not the rapid one I was supposed to get), I was lectured by the doctor for not being 'sick enough' to need a test. This is a pandemic, and I was trying to be responsible citizen and get tested to avoid putting others at risk. I didn't get seen at all. The receptionist was very rude and choppy. I was speaking clearly but she claimed she couldn't hear me. I then spoke louder for her to hear me. She displayed an attitude. She suggested I go to the ER if I couldn't wait for her to speak to her manager about my insurance. I had two different insurances.
