I was having a really rough time physically and on the verge of vomiting while in the room on multiple occasions. The nurses made sure I had a trash can and anti-nausea medication asap. At the end of my visit having my blood, urine and saliva tested, Anna came in to go over my results and was extremely informative when explaining everything to me! I've never had a doctor explain my results so thoroughly before and I made sure to tell her that too. Highly recommend this place. In and out quickly, beautiful facility with a great staff! Keep up the good work! P.S. They also have TVs in every room! Update: They called me today to check up on me and see how I was feeling! Seriously guys, this place is amazinggg!

It's tedious when you're not feeling well. The lady at the front was kind to others but not particularly nice to me. The clinician who saw me was eager to diagnose my issue as a virus that needed to run its course rather than listening to me when I advocated for myself since I knew what was wrong. It's super close to me but I'll hesitate to return in the future. I'd rather go to Patient First for a slightly better experience.

Finally on Sunday I looked for some type of urgent care facility and found Patient First. They took my information and after awhile was called into the office where they took more information and unfortunately, they didn't take or was able to bill my Medical insurance Kaiser Permanente. So I would have to do self-pay, which was fine and then get reimbursed from Kaiser. Somehow she lost my information and had to re-enter it all again and then notified me that self-pay was not available to me! I have three credit cards totally over $100,000 of available credit and self-pay wasn't available to me? They advised me to go to a clinic in Walgreens, which was closed. I wound up at the St. Mary's Hospital ER which was a blessing as they found an issue Patient First would never have.

It really helps to see movement of any kind when you are waiting. IMO. We had another good experience. They were very busy, but things moved along. The nurse and doc were great, as was the CAT scan tech. Again, our doctor spent time with us. Given how busy it was, he could have said "X" and follow up with "X". He did not, we had a discussion. I like to sum up reviews with a single word, and for the Southside Health Center, the word is "inclusivity." Services offered are general medical services, pediatric, dental, and behavioral health. I am unaware of the full scope of services offered, but I would recommend SHC to anyone, irrespective of their means. The interior is squeaky clean. There are always sufficient receptionists to accommodate both the English and Spanish community. Additionally, they can provide translation for a large number of languages, including French, Portuguese, Creole, and Italian. The parking lot can be crowded at times, but it has never been too full for my car to fit in.

I will say be ready to wait unless you come when they first open. I recently brought in my family member to get an injury checked out. From start to finish my family member was here for 2 hours. The upside is that the patient care was okay, but the wait is ultimately the downside.

I gotta admit - it was a little sketchy when I pulled up. There were barely any cars in the parking lot, You can't see it from the street, and when I called they told me to pull into an unlit driveway on the side of the building for my test. However, once the doctor came out, I felt comfortable. The BEST part about this setup, is that you don't have to get out of the car. He came to my door wearing appropriate PPE, administered the test, and then had me fill out an information packet while I waited. It took 15 minutes and my test thankfully came out negative. I also got a flu test which was negative also. Overall, it was a good experience and well worth the $15 copay. I would recommend this for fast Covid-19 testing.

I spent over an hour calling ENT doctor's office within a 40 mile area. No offices had any appointments for at least 2.5 weeks. Yesterday I tried Dr. Brager office after 3 tries to reach someone. Finally a person not a recording answered the phone. They said come to the office today, what a pleasant surprise. We arrived at the office and waited about 40 minutes to be seen. It was upsetting at first to wait but Dr. Brager was great. He evaluated my son, explained the treatment and called in a prescription. He even told the pharmacist a substitution medication that saved us over $50 compared to the urgent care prescription. Although Dr. Brager's office is about 1 hour away, it was worth the ride and I'll return there again.
