Regarding a follow up visit because my condition was worsening. First in line, listened to the PA talk with a friend about her schedule for the next week for 30 minutes, then she called in a CVS employee who signed in after me to explain why she didn't have to sit and wait for 90 minutes because their mandatory well check deadline had been moved to April. The employee was so embarrassed, she turned to me and mouthed the words, "I'm so sorry." Once in the office, the PA refused to treat me because she said CVS has a policy not to treat people within a 7 day period, even though the medication prescribed me was a 3 day course. She would not asses my condition, even though my fever was 101.8 and had developed a second ear infection. (confirmed by my regular physician immediately following this encounter) When I asked her why she couldn't have told me that before her 30 minute conversation, she said, "Well, you shouldn't have come back.", then slammed the door in my face. The store manager witnessed this and gave me the proper contact information to report the incident. which I did. That was March 31at 3:00 pm EST. There has been no follow up after six days. read more
