I do NOT recommend this practice. Poor experience with Dr. Caitlin Suilmann. I found her to be very rushed, did not want to answer any of my questions, and primarily the visit was a complete waste of my time. I had to follow up with another physician elsewhere. Also, the office did blood work and the nurse called and said all of the blood work was fine; however I have an account with Lab Corp and they sent the results directly to me and it clearly was not fine. When I asked to discuss the results with the doctor, I was told I would need to schedule "another" visit and come in to the office again in order to do that and was dismissed. I went in to review my blood work. I didn't receive a phone call regarding this because my voice mailbox was full so I accept responsibility for that as the reason why I haven't got a call back for two weeks (although I have text and email). But regardless, when went in at 12:45 there was no one at the front desk to greet me and when I stuck my head through the window to let them know I was present the doctor and staff who were off to the side turned and looked at me and basically looked at me and replied "may I help you" without coming to the window, wow!!! I had to explain why I was there with my head in the window while they stood to the side and never came to formally address me. This was wrong on so many levels but luckily there were no other patients present, which makes it worse because they weren't busy. Anyway, the nurse practitioner (I think), Mandy(?), was cold. Told me there were somethings that needed attention and the doctor wanted to see me again to discuss (granted my doctor was standing right there, no other patients). She made a copy of my lab results handed them to me and told me to have nice day. Didn't offer to make an appointment, wow. I just left. I won't say what you should do based on this review but you decide. read more

The worse facility is putting it mildly. Called to make a Covid Test Appt on Monday January 3rd, when seeing symptoms that made me act. Could not get an appt for test until Thursday. Fine. Sent in my Insurance Information and filled out all forms required. Prior to Thursday I received several phone calls from a Jane Doe literally saying that she could not verify my insurance. Of course the numbers are on the card emailed in and I verbally gave them to her when I called to make the appointment. She claims she could not reach anyone at MAGNACARE no less to verify. I then gave her the telephone number to the Insurance Fund for my husbands Company and she called back to say no one answered as she called after 5 p.m. I forgot to mention that during these several phone calls that she made to inform me that she could not verify my insurance she must have mentioned about 20 times to me that I can self pay. My response was why would I self pay $250.00 for a Covid test when I have insurance. She continued to go on that she was being transparent and could not verify my Insurance. Problem is she did not know who she was talking to. I not only have had this Insurance for over 35 years but I have never once had anyone say they could not verify the Insurance and repeatedly attempt to have me pay put of pocket. I am from NY, recently relocated here and I am not only a Lawyer, former Prosecutor, and currently an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and hear nothing but Insurance cases and I can peep out fraud and mistruth in a minute. When I went for my Appointment at 10am this morning I was advised that my Insurance was verified but I am out of network and would have to pay $250.00 if I wanted to be tested. I proceeded to drive off as an Officer of The Court I now have a duty to report this facility to the State. Out of Network? My Insurance does not require me to be in any Network. All they wanted was me to pay cash for the Covid test. The unprofessionalism, and downright bad feeling I got from this facility prior to today prompted me to go online and check investigate them. I am not surprised at all about the reviews, but I am surprised now being a resident of John's Creek that this facility is even here. Shocking! When I drove up for the first time, just observing the establishment, I would not even bring my dogs, who also have Insurance coverage. I was prepared for how today turned out and pretty much projected it as I can (peep a snake out in a second). I am reporting them to the State Authorities Immediately. This was a disingenuous attempt to make a profit off of Georgia residents, which I am now! Do not patronize this facility. read more

The medical staff is, for the most part, pretty quick and efficient. Waiting times don't tend to be excessive despite it being a clinic and it's a relatively clean facility compared to other things I have heard / read about other locations. However, the front desk "staff" is appalling. I've been to this particular location a few times and have only seen the same woman at the desk. She is rude to patients to say the least; barely acknowledges anyone who walks in the door and acts inconvenienced when a patient does so much as sign in in front of her. What's worse is that on EVERY occasion I've been here, I have heard her speaking, in full detail, about other patients. I have heard her both on the phone and in live conversation with the other staff there discuss patients who have been seen or have called for appointments. Not only does she share personal and medical information about them, but I have even heard her refer to them by FULL NAME. She makes no effort to be discrete, nor does she seem to care that she's violating HIPPA. I have heard her discuss results of a patient's STD panel and speak of a woman (agin, referred to by name) who had just called "hysterical and suicidal." I am perfectly fine going in to the clinic when I'm ill and don't have time to wait for an appointment with my regular physician, but I would never discuss anything there that I would want kept confidential, as confidentiality and patient privacy are clearly not a priority at this facility. I have considered filing a formal complaint for the HIPPA violations I've witnessed here but it hardly seems worth the effort. I've read various complaints about the same woman on other review dating back more than a year, so clearly the management at Gwinnett Clinic isn't concerned with keeping their patients feeling comfortable or safe in the waiting room or otherwise. If it weren't for this one woman, I would happily give the facility at least 3 stars but can't justify giving it more than 1 due to the severity of her inappropriateness. read more

This is one of the worst run medical clinics on the planet. The front office staff is rude as hell and so are the doctors. Dr Htwe was decent but he left and they had one nurse Erika that was great and she left as well. They have crazy operating days and hours with Dr's in and out. Getting prescription refills is a nightmare. They denied me an office visit because my Dr was out that day and said insurance won't cover it. I offered to pay out of pocket and they still declined me. I had to go to an urgent care, no biggie. Called insurance and they said that is not accurate info and I can be seen by any doctor in the office per my plan. It is constant games. I should've left a long time ago but its a hassle. Finally found a different Dr close so I'm not driving an hour. No need to be a loyal patient who pays promptly for over 4 years and drive an hour to be treated like that. Stay far away from this or any Gwinnett Clinic locations. read more

As a fairly new patient at the John's Creek location, I've had several really good experiences. Was able to schedule appointments quickly and when arriving at the office, wait times were small. Joyce at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Dr. Shveta Raju has been phenominal. read more

The ladies at this office were amazing! Very nice, professional and kind. I wasn't feeling well of course and called to see if I could get an appt, spoke w/Antanette she said if I could get there by noon the RN Jessica could work me in to see me, this was on 12/30. I arrived, Antanette was very pleasant, efficient, handled my insurance, paperwork etc., the nurse Madilina called me back took my vitals etc and placed me in a patient room she too was very nice and pleasant. The RN Jessica came, addressed my concerns and examined me, provided the necessary test to determine my diagnosis. I was VERY pleased with the professional care and service I received from the entire staff, they went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of and the examine/testing was done in a timely manner. I'm glad they were available when my PCP was on vacation, I felt just as comfortable with them and would go back to this location if needed. I would also refer Gwinnett Clinic Johns Creek to others. At last I come to yelp, trying to pen my anger out on the FRONT OFFICE STAFF this medical office has. They have the meanest of all front office staff. There is this lady who STARES, STARES at you when you check in. So arrogant, atrocious that you would swear not to return to see any doctors(Though Dr. Raju is good) at this office. I went in with a headache to see the doctor after my 9-5 stressed out Monday, she was sick to interact with and then billed me for the day. There was a pbm in billing and had to argue with her. My mind was totally occupied with the persistent headache and billing issues. She asked me for my medical card and ID and she never returned. It was her duty to give it back. I came home and found it missing. She is supposed to have emailed me or called me(I once left a Credit card at a Restaurant and they promptly got back to me over email and phone, so I could receive it the next day - these were the only times I left my cards out there). Nothing came from her or her office's end. So I rushed to the doctors office in the early morning crazy traffic to be there(Of course missing a couple of office hours) as soon the office opened. There she is, just so easily she opens the copier machine and says here it is. How could she know that they were still in the copier machine? So she did it on purpose? I and my wife politely took the cards back and as we were exiting, she again STARES at us. Oh goodness, she is such a MORON. I have never seen a 60 year old moron like this. Sick woman, she should have found a better place to show her arrogance than a doctor's office. I wish I had a real place to complain about this atrocity. read more

So... I went to the Duluth Gwinnett Clinic, and for the record, I had a very positive experience at that location. I had to see Dr. Twhe about a leg injury. All was well, but I had some complications. Had to go to the hospital and get some x-rays done. Dr. Twhe asked that I await his phone call afterward for him to advise me on how to proceed. Based on the findings, he told me over the phone that I needed to see an orthopedic specialist. He asked that I call him at 10am at the Johns Creek location to get a referral. I just got off the phone a little while ago, and it left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak. I told the lady who answered the phone that I needed to speak to Dr. Twhe. I could tell by the tone of her voice that she was bothered by this. With a very condescending tone, she informed me that he was with patients this morning. No problem. I get it. You can't just call and expect to speak directly to a doctor. That didn't bother me so much. So, I very politely explained that he had given me specific instructions to call him there at the given time and that he needed to give me a referral to go see a specialist. I thought that might help. Not really. In an even more condescending tone, she went on to explain that she would need to take my information and ask that HE call me back. Again, this did not bother me. I expected this as proper protocol. What bothered me was the extreme amount of condescension in her voice. I can tolerate a lot, but one thing I can't stand is unnecessary rudeness. I mean, after all, I'm just following doctor's orders, right? I wanted to give one star, but I added a 2nd to say that I haven't actually been to this location physically. Seemed like a fair assessment. And no offense, if the experience there is a better one. Just thought I should share this, as I know there are other people who don't like this kind of experience when dealing with something that is already stressful. Suzanne, the front desk receptionist has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. When I got here for my 9 am appointment fighting heavy rush hour traffic to be here on time, to my dismay, I found the door locked. I knocked on it and Suzanne mouthed something I couldn't understand. She finally came to door to tell me she couldn't let me in because there was no one else there and the policy was that someone else had to be on the premises. I understand security so was going to wait it out. Now grant you I was annoyed because the Doctors office wants you to be there on time but they have no respect for your time. For some reason, she still let me in and then I waited for another 25 minutes before the nurse finally showed up to the office. As I was being checked in, all I got was attitude from Suzanne like she was doing me a favor for allowing me to be there for the appointment I had scheduled. Anywho, I can tell you I will never come to this Gwinnett Clinic again just so I don't have to deal with the crappy receptionist. Luckily my doctor goes around to the other offices so I can avoid it. Take my recommendation to not go to this office. I have no idea how this lady has kept her job. read more
