Now there's 3 - myself and 2 others that came in after me to see the doctor. Why is there a wait? It doesn't make any sense.. even to register after 45 min that should take 5-10 minutes at best and should happen upon arrival. Nobody at the desk or anywhere. How incompetent is that? This is the most unprofessional urgent care I've ever had to deal with. The smells get into your clothes(when you come visit) do to it is not kept clean. They are short staffed every week so she has been left in soled clothes until I visit in the evening. The staff is overworked so for every one good employee there are two bad ones. The food looks like meat product leftovers and it is often served cold. My mother has lost 100 pounds since her stay. Because I had chills and a slight fever, a family member gave me a home COVID-19 test, which was negative. I left home with plenty of time to get to my appointment, but the Kiosk would not acknowledge either my name or my confirmation number. Finally, a receptionist came out and had me sign in on paper. I finally got in to see a Medical Professional, who listened to my symptoms, then told me I had to go to another facility. I got to the OSF facility before they close. The PA there examined me, ordered a prescription, gave me a note for work and was very professional. I don't understand why CVS gave me an appointment if they would not treat me! I WON't be back!

Ow, ow, ow, ow, OW. My husband, a firefighter/paramedic, took one look at my thumb and noticed my obvious lack of range of motion, and decreed an x-ray was in my future. Sigh. An x-ray. At, like, 8 PM on Thanksgiving? An ER visit. Really? I wasn't feeling it. Like, at all. The pain was pretty intense (and trust me, my tolerance is higher than most) so I packed up and headed to Ingalls despite my reservation about urgent aid-like places. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, the visit was smooth sailing. Color me impressed. Registration was a breeze (even though I'm right handed and my writing was, well, a little sloppy, to say the least). The nurses were great, the x-ray tech was fabulous (she double gowned me--something I greatly appreciated as I was 28 weeks pregnant at the time), the ER doc was gentle and proficient and explained everything very, very thoroughly. While the x-ray was clean (YAY for no broken bones!), the odds of a torn ligament were very, very high. The nurses braced me up and the doctor sent me off with a referral for an ortho in the area for an MRI if I wasn't entirely pain-free in a reasonable amount of time. Start to finish as far as time spent at said urgent aid facility? Roughly one hour. ONE HOUR, people. I was anticipating three times as long. I don't understand why she blatantly dismiss me and told me to leave. She is rude unprofessional and seem like she tired and acting like she didn't want me there.
