This place has classical music, comfortable chairs, plenty of charging ports for my devices and better food than most hotels. It might be a little inconvenient, but being flexible is always a good thing.

I had the opportunity to visit it for the first time, and because it was not crowded, it made for a pleasant experience. I had already visited a Delta Sky Club in Chicago in the morning, so knew another visit on my layover would not additionally cut into my allocation of fifteen for the year. Both my arriving and departure flights were in terminal A. The delta app will give real-time crowdedness, and it was clear that the 4 lounges in A were quite busy, with some having queues. It was a 2 hour layover, and my inbound flight was early, so decided to take the upper level train to get there. The train just goes back forth from one end of Terminal A (gates A1 - A28; gates A56 - A78). The middle stop is for baggage claim and also has an underground tunnel that goes to Terminal B & C (it's about a 10 minute walk). The lounge is relatively small with a tiny bar (the soda fountain needs to be operated by the bartender) and small buffet area. All three beers on tap were available as complementary so got the tangerine wheat, and the simple curry chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans was good. Glad I stopped by for a late lunch. Just had to remember to leave with plenty of time to catch the boarding call for my connecting flight in Terminal A.

The room is dimly lit with a couple of couches and cushy seats, including those massage chairs you find in nail salons. (I don't know how people find them comfortable or relaxing.) Guests are invited to refuel with coffee and snacks that the center purchases with donations -- there's a kitty at the door -- and items provided by local vendors. We munched on popcorn and passed time watching the Olympics. The people who work there -- I'm assuming volunteers -- are very friendly. The lounge is a nice addition to the airport. They close at about 10 p.m.

It is small but it provides a comfortable space with reclining chairs, a big screen tv, free beverages and snacks and charging areas. It is located in terminal D across from gate D17 and is staffed by wonderful friendly volunteers. So if you're connected to the military give it a try and make a donation to keep these lounges open to our service members and their families who sacrifice so much for our wonderful country. So you can enjoy a drink and your kids can play. I got a Founders beer on tap, which is local to Michigan. They also have seven or eight other beers on draught, as well as wine and cocktails. Located near…read moregate A18, it has a fantastic view overlooking the apron with all of the planes awaiting departure. I love watching all of the "behind the scenes" activity as planes arrive and luggage is unloaded then loaded up again, technicians scurry around and check the aircraft, and the food service truck rolls in with snacks for the flight. This lounge has always been clean, the buffet is well stocked, and the signature fragrance wafts through the air. Staff is friendly and helpful, and it's always possible to get a comfortable seat. Highly recommend checking this lounge out if you have access and free time!

Two words, vegan sausages…read more I wish all the Delta Sky Clubs would continue to serve this delicious breakfast item. It is gluten free, full of protein, and plant based. It is great on its own or with a side of hash browns and ketchup. Your choice! The seating feels a bit crowded but certainly beats sitting outside by the even more crowded gates. If your hungry, they got lots of hot and cold foods and plenty of drinks to keep you satisfied. Overall I am content with this lounge. Other Delta lounges, please take note.

This is a nice work with my Chase Sapphire credit card, it cones with the steep annual fee. While it's a nice place to get away from the Spiritians, it's really not great. I enjoy the free bottled beer, but the food is really not great. They could do a lot to improve that's for certain. New Orleans has a far better lounge experience. This one is about what you'd expect from Detroit, the strive for mediocrity continues. Like I said, the bar side is decent, good beer and I think the have some decent bottled booze if you're into that. The food side is pretty grim however. Take the bags of Rold Gold and run!
