Holy wow! Literally the worst experience and truly DISGUSTING attitude by the lady behind the counter. Long story short. Instant huffing when we showed up. I booked 2 hours with priority pass... at the wrong airport. Not flustered and totally my fault which I owned, I was curious if there were any suggestions or maybe I could move the res over here....silence. "Maybe I can use my priority pass and just book an hour here instead" "That won't work, you've already used it at a different airport" "Would you mind if we tried?" "I guess" So I preceded to cancel my wrong reservation and take whatever hit it may be and try my luck. Lo and behold... it worked! Not a word was said, just an ice cold stare, then she walked to a room and expected us to just follow, opened the door, slung a pillow or blanket on the daybed and walked away. Eww. Worst part, we left early because it was a horrible atmosphere, but when we went out she was getting into it with other passenger.

My first experience here was 4star. Unfortunate, today's experience was a disaster. My wife and I had our flight cancelled at 2am. We couldn't find a hotel room at that hour. So, we tried to sleep on the airport floor. Operative word: tried. At 9am we went to Minute Suites. We were told all 5 rooms were booked until 1pm. But they would all open up at 1. I asked if I needed a reservation and was told it wasn't necessary. At 1pm we showed up only to be told all the rooms were booked til 5pm. The clerk claimed both my wife and I misunderstood. Nope, we both heard the same thing. So, no rest for the weary. What a difference a day makes. BTW, a sign on the wall shows showers. Must be another "misunderstanding". Part of the Priority Pass system, Minute Suites process a comfortable place to rest during long layovers. Priority Pass membership gives you an hour of time and you can get an additional hour for $34. As we had a lengthy layover, (7 hours) we grabbed a few hours of rest. The rooms are small. About 8x8. Have a small desk. A tv. And a twin sized couch that can pull out to a double. No snacks. No drinks. But for a few dollars, we got a good 2 hours of undisturbed sleep. End result? Boarding as a somewhat refreshed passenger.

After having experienced Minute Suites BWI, I was pretty excited when I landed in DTW on a layover and discovered there was a new Minute Suites in this airport as well! Minute Suites is described as "The Traveler's Retreat" and I have to say I completely agree! As a perk of Priority Pass, travelers can get one hour free. This location happens to be in Terminal D near Gate D23 and while it might be a bit out of the way, it's worth checking out to rest, relax, or work - interruption free. I spent about an hour in the Cadillac suite at Minute Suites DTW and honestly slept just about the entire time. My room had a nice double pull out couch/daybed with a pillow, plenty of plugs, WiFi, Amazon Alexa, and controls to dim the lights, etc. Oh, and of course a work station (desk with comfortable chair). I used the comfortable pillow and warm blanket to rest my eyes. This location also offers showers for an additional price. I really love Minute Suites because they're private and quiet, unlike many airport lounges I've been to. As per their website, you can now find Minute Suites in ATL, BNA, BWI, CLT, DFW, DTW, JFK, LGA, and PHL airports with more locations coming soon! I hope this stays a perk of Priority Pass for many years to come!

I had the opportunity to visit it for the first time, and because it was not crowded, it made for a pleasant experience. I had already visited a Delta Sky Club in Chicago in the morning, so knew another visit on my layover would not additionally cut into my allocation of fifteen for the year. Both my arriving and departure flights were in terminal A. The delta app will give real-time crowdedness, and it was clear that the 4 lounges in A were quite busy, with some having queues. It was a 2 hour layover, and my inbound flight was early, so decided to take the upper level train to get there. The train just goes back forth from one end of Terminal A (gates A1 - A28; gates A56 - A78). The middle stop is for baggage claim and also has an underground tunnel that goes to Terminal B & C (it's about a 10 minute walk). The lounge is relatively small with a tiny bar (the soda fountain needs to be operated by the bartender) and small buffet area. All three beers on tap were available as complementary so got the tangerine wheat, and the simple curry chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans was good. Glad I stopped by for a late lunch. Just had to remember to leave with plenty of time to catch the boarding call for my connecting flight in Terminal A.

Hey I am not in a rush and $900 is more than half my rent next month. Yeah I am going to be practical with it. If I didn't have the Sky Club membership via my AMEX Reserve card I probably wouldn't have done it. This place has classical music, comfortable chairs, plenty of charging ports for my devices and better food than most hotels. It might be a little inconvenient, but being flexible is always a good thing.

I love watching all of the "behind the scenes" activity as planes arrive and luggage is unloaded then loaded up again, technicians scurry around and check the aircraft, and the food service truck rolls in with snacks for the flight. This lounge has always been clean, the buffet is well stocked, and the signature fragrance wafts through the air. Staff is friendly and helpful, and it's always possible to get a comfortable seat. Highly recommend checking this lounge out if you have access and free time!

This terminal has 4-5 Delta Sky Club lounges, and this one (near gate A18) was the closest near my gate. I made a quick stop a few Monday evenings ago to grab a small bite before my flight. Getting in was really easy, and there was essentially no line. The lounge is spacious and I had ample seats to choose from. There was a decent variety of food, but sadly, I didn't have enough time to sample all of it. I quickly grabbed a bit of mashed potatoes, pita & hummus, chickpea salad, and Swedish meatballs. Besides the chickpea salad, everything was unbearably salty. I ate half of the meatball and was unable to eat much more. Overall, food was just OK. At least the food tasted fresh and there was plenty of space, which cannot be said for other lounges.
