We chose latitudes to celebrate our anniversary and we were more than impressed!…read more The dinner plate presentation was so pretty, unique and truly delicious! I had the trout that was dotted with pickled peppers and mustard seeds with strings of dill throughout the cream. It was absolutely delicious. The servers were very accommodating and kind. Thank you so much for making our anniversary a memorable one.

We arrived early so we went up to the bar beautiful view. The bartender was just a Doll. A beer and 2 tiny margaritas $31 and change. Left to luncheon the drinks were really good so we ordered 2 more. A waitress went to go get them for us. We told her what we had just had. She seemed confused, but she was just the cutest sweetest thing. Comes back the drinks did not look the same again $31 and change. She left the two of us took a drink, and it was like watery cherry juice maybe? One in our group sipped hers to get the small pork chop fillet down. I don't drink mine. There was absolutely no way. It was a mixed drink, and there was absolutely positively no alcohol whatsoever taste in it. The salad was basic but good, the rolls were soft, the vegetable tray was over cooked and undercooked? It was odd. The potatoes were dry, the tortellini was good, salmon was good. Nothing actually stood out. Our meals were free so that helped ALLOT!!!!! As we were leaving, we seen the waitress who got our drinks and I had tipped her 10 bucks and I said that was the worst two drinks and biggest tip for what we got that was absolutely awful. And she was stunned and said sorry. I said no problem. I'll take it back up to the Bar. Unreal, same bartender from 1st drink. I set it on the bar and said this isn't the same drink you made like 1st time. She said oh the waitress must of used pre-made. Well it's awful and there was no alcohol. She said next time make sure you have us make it into front of you. Then you can see what you're getting. Alrighty. Done At the least put a shot in my watered down one and pacify me. Nope, So $62 and $25 in tips. I will try it once more.

So keep in mind that there always seems to be a theme. And I wouldn't say the popup thing is all that great. Once it seemed like they just printed images on a printer and taped them to the wall. They highly recommend reservations and I totally get that. However, I came in once because I was in the area and didn't have a reservation but thought I would see about getting a table anyhow. When I came in I was literally the only person there and when I said I didn't have a reservation, the girl acted like I was a bother. She did seat me in likely the most awkward spot you could think of, but the entire time I was there exactly one additional table came in. At least an hour, maybe a little more. So why could I have not had a more reasonable location to sit? And for staff, other than one hostess one time I've been there, all staff have acted annoyed to be there. The food has been good each time I've been there, but no point in mentioning it since it changes all the time. I think there's a few things that stay menu to menu, but I didn't have any of those. At least not that I'm aware of. The names are all part of the theme as well so it could be hard to tell. Drinks here are tiny and expensive. Also on theme again with whatever the popup is. They go very light on the alcohol so I do not feel like I'm getting my value with the drinks. And another thing is they give you the tiniest glass of water. Three sips and you have to ask for more. I guess that's to get you to buy more drinks? Desserts have been exceptional. That's keeping it at 3 stars and not down to 2. Again they seem different each time so no point in going over any of them.

Had such an amazing experience at Standby!! The food and especially the drinks were outstanding…read more The cocktail menu was organized into three parts: Opening, Principals, and Finish. The theme was "Yes, Chef: An exploration of culinary icons through a cocktail lens." Each drink was inspired by or dedicated to a famous culinary icon, and you can read about each one in the index. We each ordered one drink from each section. From the Opening, I chose the Diaspora Club, which was so refreshing and delicious. Then from the Principals, I chose the Chingona, which was a little bit spicy and savory but still so refreshing. To Finish, I chose the Chocolatier Cosmo, which came with a tiny house-made salted dark chocolate. I loved all three cocktails I ordered, especially the chocolatier cosmo because it was perfectly sweet and went so well with the small piece of chocolate. For food, we started off with the crispy pork belly milk bread. For my entree, I ordered the miso butter gnocchi. It was kind of on the salty side but I still really liked it. The apple sofrito added a bit of sweetness to it. For dessert, we had to get the rhubarb coffee cake, which came with strawberry ice cream. Omg one of the best desserts I've ever had!! I never thought of combining cinnamon coffee cake with rhubarb or strawberry but it's perfect, and I might have to make something like that soon. Service was great and we were seated right away at 8pm on a Saturday despite not having a reservation. Food and drinks came out promptly and timed perfectly. We spent about 1.5 hours here and we never felt rushed.
