Scheduling is very easy and they follow through when you ask to be placed on a waitlist to get an earlier appointment, which I feel is rare within healthcare. I have anxiety about going to the dentist due to previous bad experiences at different offices and coming here has quelled my anxiety quite a bit. Dr. Brad and his team explain everything before, during, and after doing it and have been very sensitive to my anxiety. I cannot recommend this office enough. Get it in writing UP FRONT! Don't trust verbal statements!…read more Client for several years. Made appt for a crown. Cost $285 with my insurance for a lab made crown, or over $1,000 for a same day CERAC crown. I opted for a lab crown. Went in for appt and the Dental Assistant tells me I can get the CERAC crown, for the same price as the lab made crown, $285. Was told the CERAC is done in less than 2 hours, AND it incudes a 5 year same office warranty that the lab crown does not include. Yes, the exact same price, with a 5 year warranty. I was out in under 2 hours with my new CERAC crown. On April 24, 2026, I emailed the office to ask for a copy of the 5 year warranty. I got no reply for 5 days, so on April 29, I emailed again, saying that one of the selling points was the 5 year warranty, and there had to be something I could get in writing about it. Bernice calls me and says that because I paid the same for the CERAC, as the lab crown costs, I was not entitled to the 5 year warranty. I explain to Bernice the Dental Assistant used the 5 year warranty as a benefit to me of getting that crown. Bernice, said it doesn't apply to the discounted price. Bernice said she would talk to the Dental Assistant and call me back. On May 5, I called and asked for Bernice. Christian said she was busy, but he knows every detail about what happened. He told me he was aware of what I was told, the Dental Asst confirmed that she DID tell me the 5 year warranty was included, however, they would not be honoring the 5 year warranty because even though she, "made a mistake", I didn't pay for the warranty and therefore it would not be honored for me. No apology. Christian repeated that I didn't pay for a warranty and I wasn't getting one. No apology. He was saying, yes we offered you a warranty, INCLUDED with the price of the CERAC crown, BUT we admit we made a mistake and we refuse to honor that mistake, even though there is no financial loss to our business because if something were to go wrong with that crown in the future, we would bill it through your insurance anyways, and we could just write off your 20% co-pay. I asked if Dr. Miaoulis was aware of the situation, and what I was being told. I truly didn't think Miaoulis would approve the way it was being handled because I know he is a shrewd business person, but Christian surprised me by saying the Dr. was fully aware and he wasn't going to honor the warranty, even though his personnel screwed up. No apology. It seemed the calmer I was in trying to rationalize with Christian, how bad of a business decision this was, even saying that I'm not yelling, I'm not swearing, I'm not making threats, it was making me not want to come back and to let others know, Christian got more irritated and then he said, Dr Miaoulis is willing to offer a 1 year warranty on that crown for you. So, why wasn't that mentioned at the start? You wait until I imply I won't be back and that I'll leave a review about this experience, before throwing out a 1 year warranty that Miaoulis allegedly had already approved? I told Christian it's unfortunate something which likely wouldn't have cost them anything, assuming nothing happens to the crown over the next 5 years, will cost them a good client who will now let others know about this situation, which may result in someone choosing to not go there, with the result being a loss to that office of more than what the warranty would have cost. Christian said he was sorry it came to that but he understood my feelings and I should do whatever I needed to do. Pretty arrogant, in my opinion. The loss of my next visit alone, not counting the lost future years of revenue, exceeds whatever non-costs from offering the warranty would have been incurred. For the next patient it happens to, start by making a genuine apology for the mistake your business made. Take ownership and don't blame the patient. Then, immediately offer the best alternative option. Don't wait until the patient says they won't be back to throw out an olive branch that you could have started with, allegedly.

They made the place warm and did excellent work. However, the place is cold and Krista is the worst. I came in with my child that is special needs because his tech called off. They said it was "fine" to have him there (they wanted the money) although I told them that I could come back. It was pretty empty that day and some staff that wasn't busy played with him during the crown replacement. After this, I called in because I was having more pain after the crown and wanted to schedule for this and eventually my cleaning. Krista told me that my son was not allowed on the premises (although I told her his technician would be with him in the waiting room). She stated that I needed to "leave him at home" which is in violation of ADA laws. I went to another dentist due to this and found out that Dr. Shaw put a crown on a tooth that had an infection on one root - something that she should have caught with due diligence. The other dentist did several x-rays but NDP only did the one with the machine that spins around your head. I had to pay for x-rays a second time because Krista did not send my records. I requested my records several times and Krista claims she mailed them but in email correspondence; she is completely dishonest about several things. She also ghosted me and ignored my requests to resolve the matter. Once I mentioned contacting my attorney, she stated that "you can bring your son." He wasn't welcome before I contacted my attorney. I am serious about my son's rights as a disabled person and he should be treated with dignity. Krista is cold, unprofessional, dishonest, and her name should be Karen. This place is cold - it wasn't like this before. They lack empathy and seem to only care about money. The quality of care has tremendously declined as well. I did not feel cared for and ended up paying twice for one tooth. I want a refund and will not be going back! I had planned on getting an implant and invisalign with them but will go elsewhere. I saved up to treat myself but I do not trust Dr. Shaw's work. I specifically asked her for ozone and she did not want to do it. I remember when Dr. Raiffe did my other crown, he did the ozone as a preventative measure and no pain after the crown. They are expensive and I don't mind paying for good work; but they are unprofessional, lack empathy, and not a quality provider in my opinion. I should not have to spend approximately two months requesting my records or a refund. I have to pay to another provider to get the tooth properly fixed. Not worth the time or headache - find a practice that actually cares about their patients. Taking short cuts to save money at patient's expense is wild work. Shame on Karen and Dr. Shaw. Shame on you both.

Both had suggested that perhaps I had developed a metal allergy but didn't know who to send me to get tested so I contacted Whole Health. Dr Sofia also agreed that could be the problem. First course of action was a saliva test and then labs were ordered through Vibrant Labs in CA. The test was 520 dollars and it took me almost a year to save up to get the test . At no time did anyone mention that it was also going to cost me another 200 dollars to have someone go over the results with me . Anyway I did the test . I was notified that the dentist had received my results on Jan .19th . (Monday) By Friday the 23rd I still had not heard anything from the dentist office so I left a message . By Monday the 26 I still had not heard from the dentist so I left another message . By Wed the 28th I still had not heard from the dentist so I looked up the Facebook page and message Dr Loud through email. That's when I finally got a text saying Dr Loud was not my dentist but that they would make an appt with Dr Sofia to go over my results and that would be Feb 13. Then a week later they called me and said she didn't want to go over results with me but wanted me to talk to a practitioner and she would contact me. I got an appt with her for Feb 16th . That was yesterday and come to find out the test didn't even test for metal allergies (which is the only reason I did it) . I am beyond upset about this . Not only do I feel like no one cares but no one answers the phone or returns calls so there is no point in trying to do that . I sat thru all of the X-rays and imagery expecting to at least get a basic clean out of my visit- but nope. Paid over $500 and no cleaning. 3/22 re: Treatment moving forward (as referred by Dr. Bayer, HER plan per handwritten note)…read moreI wanted to touch base with you now that I have had a chance to converse with Dr. Duval regarding treatment of your lower left, specifically tooth #19.  He is recommending you treat this tooth with endodontic therapy to clear up the infection.  I agree with his diagnosis and feel that at your scheduled appointment on the 29th, I am comfortable moving forward with a crown on #18, with nothing further on #19 until that treatment with Dr. Duval is completed. Dr. Bayer lied to me about McClammy being retired (originally referred BY Raintree Dental), in order to get me in front of a man "she had worked with for some time". A man who would lie to your face to take your teeth, Dr. Ryan Duval. (a 'consult' walked-out on) THE TOOTH WAS NEVER INFECTED; IT ONLY REQUIRED A FILLING. (Nor did #18 need a crown.) Dr. Bayer refused to treat the tooth ("nothing further", until KILLED), putting the tooth at risk. "She will smile in your face as she tells you to kill perfectly good teeth."

She took the time to show me photos and explain everything so I could fully understand what was going on in my mouth. Needless to say, I will be going to Dr. Bayer moving forward. I have been going to this office for 3 years. Unfortunately, I had to switch hygienists and my…read moredentist left the practice. They are now focused on unnecessary treatments to make money and not the patient. Do not trust them. I was on a normal every 6 months teeth cleaning scheduled. I was encourage to come every 3-4 months for teeth stain. I opted to change my home care routine and fixed the issue myself. Last month at my regularly scheduled cleaning, I was told I needed full mouth periodontal cleanings every 3 months due to "5" periodontal readings and gum tissue bleeding. I could tell she pushed the tool into the gums too far on purpose and caused bleeding. She refused to give me my regular cleaning and told me I was now diagnosed as a periodontal patient and could only receive periodontal cleanings from now on. Two weeks later, I went to another dental practice. My periodontal charting was normal and no bleeding. I do not need periodontal cleanings.
