I purchased a Groupon, according to terms and services any fees cannot exceed groupon price. Upon leaving they force a $25 fee not including tip, for purchasing a service from a third party. Any relaxation I had faded at the end of the massage. Also, I told her my left shoulder/neck were in pain and she didn't pay any additional attention there.

I found Mint Wellness Center through an instagram ad. They were having a sale for you and a friend 50 minute massage plus facial for a good price. We decided to book and they had a lot of availability for the same week! Parking was easy there was plenty of street parking in front of the building. Check in was also smooth, you have to fill out a sheet prior to the massage. We were greeted right away and asked if we wanted something to drink so we had water while we filled out the questionnaire. We arrived 5 min early but didn't get taken into the massage room until 15-20 min later. The space is pretty large with lots of massage rooms! Once we were taken in we prepared for our massage and facial. We started with the facial which was very basic. They clean your face, exfoliate, place a hot towel and then moisturize. No extractions, steam, serums or sunscreen. If you're looking for a true facial this is probably not the place. The massage was not a true massage, like most of the other reviews it was a rubdown with oil. No pressure at all. I've received many massages over the years and they all have the same structure and mostly vary on the pressure. This massage didn't follow that structure and had no pressure at all. I wouldn't be surprised if the people giving these massages were not licensed (in my opinion). The ad said the experience would be 70 minutes but it was more like 50-60 minutes. The ad mentioned we would receive champagne and chocolates which we didn't. I don't recommend this place for a true massage or facial. The staff was very friendly but that's not enough for me to come back.

I booked a 1:30 PM appointment that was later changed to 1:15 PM without proper notice. On the day of the appointment, we called the listed number to confirm, and the person who answered verified that our appointment was at 1:30. We arrived 10 minutes early, only to find no one at the front desk. When someone finally came out, she rudely told us we were late. We explained what happened and even called the number again in front of her--yet were still met with attitude and no willingness to help. The couples massage room was extremely cramped--only one person could walk through at a time. The massage beds were filthy, with hair and visible stains. When we asked for clean linens, we got more attitude instead of a solution. At that point, we left and texted them photos of the unsanitary conditions, along with a full explanation of the experience. They told me the manager would call me on Monday. I followed up on Tuesday. It's now Friday and I still haven't received a call or any response--despite trying every number they have listed. This place feels like a scam. They took our money, wasted our time, and treated us with complete disregard. Avoid this spa at all costs.

My friends and I booked a spa day at Mint Wellness and we loved it! The service was very friendly from the first hello, the spa has a nice, calming atmosphere and the treatments were fabulous. We each got a facial and full body massage. We had a very relaxing day and the staff finished our treatments with a complimentary glass of champagne.

This was the plug-in in our "treatment" room. On the floor next to the electrical socket that is being held together with electrical tape

OH. MY. GOD.... Where do I even begin??? For those of you who follow my reviews, you know that I rarely give 1-star reviews. I try to give people and businesses the benefit of the doubt. But when encountering service so egregious, I feel it is my responsibility to warn other Yelpers. I will start by saying that had I read the Yelp reviews for this place, I never would have booked an appointment. But Google has them at 4 stars which is MIND BOOGLING to say the least. Yelpers - PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! We booked a couple's massage special that they had going for the holiday season. The following is what we encountered. 1. The place is gross. Dirty and gross. I took pictures. You can see them, and they speak for themselves. 2. The lighting in the room cannot be controlled. They do not have a dimmer. It is a bright light. You would think they would want to keep the lighting low, so you don't realize they only clean once a year. But no, they don't mind if you're blinded AND disgusted all at the same time. 3. The music was loud. I asked them to turn it down. They did, and then you can hear the music from either the other room or the hallway. So, we had 2 spa stations going at the same time. 4. People talking in the hallway. LOUD PEOPLE talking. So now we are listening to 2 spa stations, in bright lighting, in a dirty room, with people talking outside. 5. I don't think they could legally call what they performed a "massage." It was an oily rubdown. At some point, I wondered if she had a hand injury because my 8lb Toy Poodle applies more pressure to my leg when he taps me for an extra treat! 6. I had specifically asked upon booking that I wanted to swap out the facial for a paraffin hand treatment. They agreed. I have the messages to prove it. At the end of our so-called "massage," I asked about the paraffin hand treatment. They said it was not included. I told them I had the messages to prove it. They said it wasn't in their "notes" but would honor it. 7. Paraffin Hand Treatment: They took a painter's brush while I lay on my stomach, and they brushed paraffin on my hands. They wrapped my hands in PAPER TOWELS and told me they would be back in 5 minutes. They came back in 2 minutes, the wax hadn't even solidified yet, and they cleaned my hands with paper towels. 8. I asked if they had done it for my partner as well - mind you, this is a COUPLE'S MASSAGE, and I had asked them to SWAP OUT THE FACIAL FOR THE HAND TREATMENT! This would mean for the BOTH OF US! It is a PACKAGE that we paid for. They said no, but that they would do it. So, my partner also got slathered in the wax for 2 minutes. Nothing but the best for my man!!! 9. When we got out of the carnival-like nightmare that was this experience, they tried to charge us for my partner's paraffin treatment. They said that he had gotten the facial so this was extra. When I asked my partner if he had a facial (and I am assuming that anyone reading this knows what a facial consists of) he said "Well, they touched my face!" Needless to say, we REFUSED to pay for it, and they did indeed take it off the bill. 10. Included in this little gem of a package were champagne and chocolates. Sounds wonderful right? Well, the "champagne" was flat sugar water. It was clear white, no bubbles, and tasted like fruit juice. I almost spit it out. And the chocolates you may be asking? Ready for this? YORK PEPPERMENT PATTIES and RESSES PEANUT BUTTER CUPS. I will say, had I been getting this spa experience when I was 8 years old, this would have been magical. How this place can call itself a wellness center is beyond me! How they have not one, but TWO locations, is beyond me. How these women have masseuse licenses is also - you guessed it - BEYOND ME! This was one of those experiences where I thought to myself "Are we being recorded? Are we being punked right now? Is this all just a joke and someone is going to come out and laugh and apologize, have me sign a talent release form so it can air on Bravo, and then they would take me to the real massage??" It was THAT bad. STAY AWAY! This place makes Massage Envy look like the Ritz Carlton. I will end this review on the 1 thing that went well. The Hot Stones were hot. So, there's that...

They have like 4 numbers that don't get through to anyone. Theres one that you can text. I had an appointment and the facility was closed. it's also my bday....when i reached out via phone they asked if i was at the right location like it's hard to just click on the link provided with the address when you book. i sent a picture that i was at the door and no one's there. They someone was and i was literally there! banging on the door with no response. When i drove off i saw a blond girl opening up the door with food. So she obviously left for food. instead of making it seem like a client is slow why don't you check your worker. Thanks for ruining my bday. My appointment was at 2. Check out all the numbers i called for them and the amount of times. Not to mention the texting that they didn't respond to me but they did with my girlfriend. let me know if ya want to see that too

The experience was awful. I don't understand or believe the amazing reviews. They don't speak any English and use cheap products from Amazon (I have pictures, and didn't look at the products she used until afterwards when I was freaked out). The bed was rock hard and the duvet was dirty (again, noticed the duvet after). She used an at-home microdermabrasion product on me (like PMD but not) very roughly and without warning (she didn't speak english). Then a very course scrub that was probably meant for body instead of face. The facial was extremely painful - the extractions were way more painful than standard. I eventually made her stop because it was so painful and did not feel right. I could feel her breathing on me because her face was so close to mine doing this. Then she ripped open a sheet mask and put it on me. After this, she put a bulky plug in device around my face that she said was "lead" (LED) and left for 20 minutes. After that I heard her opening something which I now know was a jar of moisturizer (unhygienic that she had to dip her fingers in there), smeared it on my face, and said "done." I do not believe this woman was a licensed esthetician to do this work. They also demanded an additional $25 fee on my credit card (I have receipt) that they said Groupon requires for spas. My face is red and tender. I am disgusted, angry and feel gross and tricked.

Came with my friend for an early bday celebration. It was $170 for two people. The special included a massage, facial, paraffin bath for hands, champagne and chocolates. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. The facial although there was no steam or extractions left my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. The massage was good for the price but I was expecting more pressure. But overall it was a nice relaxing day and way to start off the weekend.

The deep facial combined with Dermapen is my favorite and I tried the lifting 10 years younger and my skin is almost free of scars and marks.

It was in walking distance from our hotel (The Mayfair) so that was really convenient. The district overall is super cute and has everything you may need. We called ahead and set an appointment for two pedicures, and even confirmed before getting off the phone that they had the time to fit 2 people in. However, upon arrival only one lady was available. They immediately gave us attitude when we insisted that we needed two spots, but obliged. They don't have you sit in the big, comfy pedicure chairs either. Just regular "dining" chairs for lack of a better word, and a rolling "foot stool" to prop your feet on. For someone with hip issues, like myself, it was extremely uncomfortable having to prop one leg at a time on this foot stool that was at the height of the pedicurist's eye level. Oh yeah...make sure you don't wear a dress/skirt here. As far as soaking goes, it's just the little pedicure tub you can buy at your local Walmart. My polish was sloppy and they didn't even bother rubbing the lotion in all the way. I didn't feel like the cost matched what you get in the slightest, but after all they provided a service and I'm not one to give you $0 for your time..so I paid and went on about my day. I just know I won't be back.

Upon arrival for my appointment, I noticed they didn't have a great selection of colors at all and didn't have the original color I asked for. I wanted to walk out but I also needed a pedicure. I sat down and decided to go with a different color even though it's not what I wanted and endured a painful, I non relaxing pedicure. No massage.. She cut my nails too short and not the best paint job. I don't know why but this place never seems to be great.. it's always just average and if you don't speak Spanish you may not get what you're looking for. Also, they don't do acrylic so don't expect to get a refill or any kind of care for your current acrylic if you have them.
