There's honestly no point in making an appointment here. I waited for almost an hour with zero explanation for the delay. When I asked the front desk how much longer, they just said, "about 10 more minutes" with no real answer on why I was waiting so long. If I were late, I'm sure I'd be charged or forced to reschedule, but they clearly don't respect your time. This was by far the worst experience I've had with Mint Dentistry. Very Disappointed. Been using them for cleaning about two years. I went in this time because one of my teeth felt broken. I told the dentist knowing my wisdom teeth needed removal I opted for removal instead of repair. I thought was my last tooth was broken but it was the wall of the one next to it. The dentist viewed my mouth, heard my reason for the visit when ahead and extracted the last tooth leaving my broken tooth unattended or me informed. After a couple days during the healing process (I got stitches) I realized I was still feeling a serrated edge and bleeding. I went back to their office and discovered they extracted the tooth that was not broken or needed urgent attention. It's been 4 days since my return and I was promised a call regarding the situation, to date none was received. My tooth issue was not resolved and I am out over $300. read more

My husband went there for a cleaning. They have a special discount plan they sell you on. Seems like a good deal at first, till they throw the punch line, sort a speak. He told them if it was over $200 to forget. They came back at him with a $400. Price for cleaning and he said, we are outa here. So to say least he did not get a cleaning, which they were refusing to give him anyways, they said he had too many cavatities. read more

I'm a bit annoyed after today's visit. First off, I received a text message to confirm my appointment 2 weeks from the date of the appointment. I didn't recall scheduling the appointment so I called to figure out why it was set. The answering service picked up because it was after hours. The gentleman who answered detailed that it was for my routine cleaning and that it was automatically scheduled for 6 months after my last cleaning. Okay, no problem, I could use a cleaning so let's keep the appointment. He confirms the appointment and we disconnect. I get another text message confirming my appointment a few days prior to and I confirm. The day of my appointment, I arrive about 5 minutes before my appointment to get checked in. I'm greeted with that awesome, enthusiastic MINT welcome and I approach the counter. The nice lady asks if I'm coming in due to pain and I reply no. She then asks what the appointment was for. I said I believe it's for a cleaning. She then tells me that she has to verify with the insurance department to see if I still have benefits remaining to use. Hmm. Okay. I wait about 30 minutes before I'm told I have used all of my insurance allowance. What annoys me the most is that she says in the notes it says I was called and notified about the insurance usage. What?! I NEVER received a call! Nor was there a voicemail if the call went unanswered. If I had, I wouldn't have wasted 30 minutes of my day waiting to confirm the insurance usage. Doesn't make sense. The nice lady then proceeds to tell me that some people choose to still pay out of pocket once the benefits are used and how they would never turn someone away. Totally understandable, however, my choice was taken from me and my time was wasted. I would not have chosen to get a routine cleaning that I didn't need if I had to pay out of pocket for it. Communication is everything and my time is valuable. I don't know MINT. I don't know. read more

I should've made a review from the first time I became a patient here in 2018. I apologize for the delay. The service here has been consistent and the experience has been amazing each time I go. I appreciate the quality of work and the care that goes into each procedure. I came here on Friday during the pandemic and the safety measures and communication that I received from the staff was great. I know it's difficult to work under these conditions and the staff was completely positive and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Kudos to this team! You are all amazing! read more

Visited this dentist today and was absolutely disappointed. In my years of visiting the dentist, never have I had a dentist say he didn't know whether or not to proceed with replacing a broken porcelain cap without getting the advice of a specialist. Dentist said, "I'm not sure if you'll need to have another root canal or not so, I'm going to refer you to our specialists. They will probably say you don't need one, but just in case they do you can reschedule to have the temporary and we'll schedule the permanent placement sometime after that." My insurance doesn't required a referral, I chose the plan specifically NOT to have to be referred and run around Houston trying to get dental work. I see this practice as insurance scamming; doctors referring patients for unnecessary medical treatment. Not to mention the inconvenience of scheduling, copayment, and travel to another dentist just to be "possibly" told that the mint dentistry dentist can proceed will replacing a broken porcelain cap?!?!! This practice typically targets low socioeconomic clientele that would not question the practices of a licensed medical professional. Unacceptable practice of utilizing an outside source. What's the point of having the dentist if he can't identify if a root canal is needed? Should have just made the appointment with the specialist, but the work still would not have happened today. DO NOT fall for the gimmick known as Mint Dentistry, they advertise "a one stop shop". False advertisement. I walked out before they could pretend to do anything to my teeth. They offered me a $50 coupon, but I wouldn't let them clean my teeth for free after that experience. read more

Really a great experience for a "dental" office. Laid back office and VERY PROFESSIONAL. Elsa is a very sweet. Dr. Jordan is great and took his time speaking with me. I received some pretty cool swag to take home. Alec is a pleasure to speak with. Very informative and helpful with the financials. I didn't feel Pressured at all to start a treatment with the fear of sky rocket prices other dental offices come up with. Finally found a dentist office I feel comfortable with. read more

Went to mint dentistry today, knowing I needed a root canal (in excruciating pain) but expecting to just get an xray, cleaning and a future appt. However, Kimberlie agreed to take a look tee if they could help me TODAY. We all agreed yes 'LET'S GO FOR IT '. Dr Jordan did the work with the assistance of Shawn. The procedure started out simple but ended challenging. BUT Dr J and Shawn walked me thru it. (Shawn even let me beat him up a little). It took a LOT of jokes and 'are you ok's'. Plenty of consoling. To help out with already hecked afternoon, Dr Kimberlie finished us up. Heard about Mint via radio. Just like the radio said it's Awesome!!!!!!! From the time I walked in the door felt like I was on vacation handle my dental business. It was everything and more everyone was nice and pleasant. I watch my Netflix, got my glasses, and can't forget that wonderful massage chair!! AWESOMENESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! You know how you go on a cruise and go have a great massage experience. Have a fitness review experience or even one of those foot health check experience. This was the dental one and it was so good I thought, why don't they put these on all the Carnival cruise ships! It would be so great! So President Of Mint put this on the Carnival Cruises. Service on land is so great need to have it at sea too. Dental experience was just phenomenal! Gift bag really put a special ting on things felt like I went to a dental party and all was good! The staff was professional and accommodating. The office was decorated nicely and had snacks and water available. I went on my lunch break and was hoping to be in and out quicker than 2 hours. I had to leave and schedule a follow up for my cleaning. The employees seemed very educated and they used top of the line materials. I will be back next week to finish the cleaning and to pick up my FREE whitening trays and gel. The goodie bag they left me with was appreciated. This is a really comfortable and affordable dentist to go see. The staff upon entering the office is very greetful, cheerful, and informative about the business and the process to get the paperwork completed for your visit. When you walk in weather your by yourself , or with someone they give you both an iPad one for your guest to watch movies on while they wait for you, and one for you to complete your paperwork on, and also keep after you finish your paperwork, and go through the process of seeing the dentist. My technician for exrays after completing my paperwork was Monica, she was such an amazing person with the process and explaining everything she was doing, promotions the office was offering, the information on each dentist there, plus explaining why she was taking the exrays she was taken and what the purpose of them were. After receiving all the exrays I met with doctor Jordan, he was probably the coolest doctor I've ever met, he was the doctor to see if you were having problems with your teeth. I know many people including myself don't like the dentist, it's scary. But Dr. Jordan made me feel as comfortable as possible as I was getting three teeth extracted. The Dr. made every moment of each extraction as less painful as possible, talking to me during the extraction, explaining why the tooth should be done. Making sure I was comfortable each step and also played a little music while doing it, which was also relaxing for me considering I was getting teeth pulled out lol. All in all Mint definitely has my business when it comes to dental work. I recommend people go see them for sure, o and did I mention they are also very affordable. I didn't think they would be but it fooled me and mint has plans for everyone like I said they are my new dentist. read more

After some trouble getting an appointment due to an all company meeting and they being closed. They were able to fit me in very quickly and get my painful tooth taken care of the next day. oday is my first time coming to the dentist in a few months, and the reason why is because dentist scares the daylight living out of me. However, from the moment I walked in and spoke to the front desk, they magically comforted me. They explained who and what they are and how they are here to help. Then I met Monica (Dental assistant) who presence just seemed awesome and overwhelming. Without knowing she explained every step of the way which I appreciate because I hate not knowing what's going on. Her sense of humor is comforting. I've made an appt. I waited for 2 hours to be seen. due to a severe toothache and I was asked by five people before during and after my exam what was I there for. After my exam I was giving a referral to another dentist that has nothing to do with my toothache. When I made a stink about it the then decided they could fix my toothache. They always make sure that you are ok at every moment, felt for a bit I was treated like royalty. Prices are really affordable nothing that would scare you make you get out running. I was quoted for two surgical extractions for $150. I however knew one tooth should be classified as a routine extraction due to the fact that it was fully erupted. They said they will degrade it if necessary and the amount due would be less that what I was quoted since they have a significant price difference. Upon arrival they required full payment before any procedure was done. I was hesitant since I knew there would have to be a refund but I continued. Once my extraction was completed, the doctor agreed that one tooth would be downgraded to routine extraction. Once I went to the front desk I let them know that The extraction was downgraded and I wanted to know how they will refund me. The office manager snapped at me and said no you will not be getting a refund the total will still be $300 even though the bill was lowered due to the downgrade. He kept giving me an attitude even after I expressed my concerns and although he agreed the price did change. I was still forced to pay the same amount. I asked for a receipt and he kept asking me if I wanted him to charge me more. He was extremely rude. I am SO dissatisfied with the Service. I am a dental assistant and know what to expect. They didn't give me no post op instructions, just gave me a paper and basically threw me out the room. When I first went for an annual clean they did not even measure my periodontal pocket dept to determine any periodontal disease or gingivitis. They did not even check for any oral cancer which is very important. And did not have any surface barriers. The only thing covered was the light, and chair head rest which is not sanitary. Overall I do not recommend anyone coming here. read more
