At the time there was a tree in the fence line and Expert Fence expertly installed a fence right up to the contours of the tree (with a little room to spare). But when in 2017 that tree came down, I had Expert Fence come back, remove the existing panels (for grinding the tree stump), and install a new post and panels to match the rest of the fence. Finally, just this week in 2019, when a gate post warped so much that the gate slammed shut and the mechanism wouldn't latch, I had Expert Fence come and put things back in order. So, to be clear, I've had several experiences with Expert Fence. Each and every experience with Expert Fence has been great. On the original install I asked for cedar boards and stainless steel nails, which they delivered on, and I don't have any streaking on my fence. I also had a 16 foot wide car gate installed: Jose engineered a structure using steel 6x6 posts, steel frames, and a header to keep the gates from sagging, and to this day they are working perfectly. I've had several neighbors ask who did my fence and I proudly display the Expert Fence sign. For followup needs, it's easy to get a hold of the office, schedule a visit, and have the work done. Their team is great and clearly know what they're doing. The craftsmanship is top notch and I recommend the company to everyone with fence needs. I see no reason to look for another company: call Expert Fence.

Jean Paul took his time to remove the old fence And put the new one in with a 3' required gate that the HOA told us we had to have (the work was delayed due to waiting for HOA approval), we received many estimates or many showed and did not bother to offer estimates. Jean Paul and is team are very good at their craft and easy to work with; Their pricing is extremely reasonable and are hard workers and customer service is top notch. Jean Paul is licensed and has insurance. While they were working, a couple of my neighbors asked for estimates on deck cleaning and fence replacement, our neighbors know I am very thorough on vetting contractors and trying to find the right one to improve our home, so they usually ask me for recommendations or will ask the contractor on site, so I know I have a good eye for value and workmanship. We are extremely satisfied with the Job completed and would recommend Jean Paul and his team for a fencing job you are searching for or other services they provide. We look forward to working with his team again in 2021 for sealing or painting the fence. Thanks. Be safe and be well.

I put out a request on Yelp for quotes on our project and received 4 responses. 2 of the companies were the same, but under different names. They came out, provided quotes, but were not licensed with the state. Jean Paul responded with a price and what was included. After a little back and forth, I asked him to inspect the job in person, which he did. He confirmed his price, and submitted an official quote. I was able to obtain our permit, HOA approval, verify JPQ Construction and Jean Paul were both licensed with Maryland state, as well verify the company's liability insurance. Other than a small hiccup with the start date due to not contacting Miss Utility, this project went really well. Jean Paul and his team are really nice to work with, did great work, and insures his work. We will work with him again!

I was walking in my neighborhood one day and I saw a fence with a Smith Fence Company sign on it that looked good to me! I called Mr. Smith and he came out to give me a quote right away. His quote was so reasonable that I didn't even bother to get more quotes. He started work very quickly, and the new fence looked great! Unfortunately, it turned out that I have an underground drainage pipe in the way of where a post for the gate would have to go. Mr. Smith told me he would think about a solution and get back to me. The next week he came back out with an L shaped post that could be installed past the drainage pipe. I really appreciated his innovative thinking! As soon as the custom gate was made Mr. Smith came back out to my house to install it. I'm extremely happy with my fence, and would highly recommend Smith Fence Company. I'm including a picture of what my fence looked like before the repair, and then after pictures.

On four different occasions, involving four separate houses (spanning a period of over eight years), Stuart Carter and his excellent crew of skilled workers have built beautiful fences of the highest quality materials and of proven lasting workmanship. Ranging from the design and installation of custom ornamental aluminum fences, to elegantly scalloped wooden stockade fences, to classic split rail fences, Carter Fence Co. consistently did an outstanding job. Every home property posed unique challenges with respect to preserving beautiful existing mature landscaping and fragile flower beds. Stuart would slowly walk and carefully inspect every foot of the proposed fence line, helpfully commenting and making practical suggestions directly to the homeowners. Whenever prior existing fences required demolition and removal, Stuart and his crew did so with minimal amount of noise, soil disruption or destruction of any existing root structures. On all four occasions, my family and I were enormously pleased with absolutely gorgeous perimeter fencing, garnering years of compliments from neighbors and friends.
