When I changed my mind and decided I didn't want to leave God out of our wedding, I said that I would pay for and find the officiant. I admit I didn't shop around. My wedding planning approach was one and done. Once I found something I liked, I was done "shopping." I liked that Rev. Phil offered a free intro session before committing to his services. After the first one hour meeting, my husband also liked him and we were sold. We did the full package and I'd recommend it. The love story was definitely the best part of the service. It's true what the other reviewers said, people talked about that love story for weeks and months after the wedding. We were willing to make fun of ourselves and this really helped carry-off the fun of the story. Rev. Phil has a great knack for telling a story. Everyone was laughing, including us. So many of our pictures show me looking around to the crowd laughing at my ridiculous self and trying to make eye contact with someone mentioned in the story. We were also able to incorporate a touching candle-lighting memorial for my husband's deceased parents, as well as readings that were a mix of religious and secular. Rev. Phil is very detail-oriented and will give you explicit instructions and details about each part of the service. I found this helpful, as I didn't want to worry about all the details myself. As he says, he's the professional and will take the stress of this part of the wedding off of you. As a bonus, I heard he even "fooled" by super-Catholic mom by wearing his collar. No grief for no Catholic wedding! Rev. Phil really helped make our wedding a perfect, unique and special night! I'd recommend him to anyone!

Sarah's professionalism, positive attitude and kindness were evident from the moment we first met her through the day of the wedding. So many friends and family (during and after the wedding) told us how much they absolutely LOVED Sarah. Sarah captured so many wonderful moments at our wedding and the quality of every photo was amazing. We are so incredibly happy that we choose Sarah as our photographer and will continue to use her for events, family photos and everything else for as long as she decides to be a photographer.

Since being invited to it, I have always loved her posts on her Sarah Crost photography page. Once my husband and I had gotten engaged, I knew immediately that I wanted to hire her for our engagement and wedding photos. Specifically, I wanted to book her because she really has a talent of catching small and big moments in photos. We knew we didn't want all only posed photos so we knew Sarah was our girl. My husband and I officially booked with Sarah in January 2018 for our March 8th, 2019 wedding. We booked her Documentary package which included an engagement session, 2 photographers, 10 hours of photography cover, photo album, and photo release. From the get go, Sarah has always been incredibly professional. She is prompt in responding to questions and is incredibly easy to work with. My husband and I live out of state. For us, communication with our vendors was an expectation since we did not have the opportunity to set up many meetings (if any at all). She understood that planning a wedding out of state was stressful and really went out of her way to ensure all of our questions were answered. This alone really helped ease the nerves as the big day was approaching! Also, to add to the professionalism piece, she is very punctual. She was early to arrive to both of our engagement sessions and scheduled arrival time for the wedding. We never had an issue with her being late! On the day of the wedding, she brought Meg Adamik as her assistant photographer. Sarah and Meg were the dream team! They both were extremely talented and definitely had the process down of where to be and when for pictures. With them, I did not have to worry about anything! Their bubbly, fun personalities were contagious and everyone in the bridal party loved having them around! At one point during the day, we had an issue with our videographer cancelling within a couple hours of our ceremony. While we were able to get a backup plan sorted out with a new videographer, I MUST compliment Sarah and Meg. While I was in a slight panic trying to take in that our videographer was not coming, Sarah and Meg were trying to come up with a game plan of how to possibly get the ceremony recorded on their cameras. We ended up not needing to use that game plan but the fact that they had even *considered* to go above and beyond like that was comforting. It really does demonstrate how much Sarah and Meg really care about their clients and their wedding days running smoothly! My husband and I received our wedding photos about a month after our wedding. We were blown away by the work of Sarah and Meg. All these beautiful little and big moments of our day were captured and we could not begin to say enough how much we loved them! Hire Sarah Crost Photography! You will NOT regret it!

I was told my review of Jennifer Fox Weddings wasn't fair by the company, so I've taken some time…read moreto simply outline what occurred during my wedding weekend. I hired this company based on its positive reviews. This was my experience: * Hair and makeup setup requirements were not communicated to the hotel staff. Requests for chairs and mirrors were never relayed, and my mother had to scramble the morning of the wedding to accommodate everyone. * Room numbers were not provided to the hair and makeup vendors. I had to send that information myself. This included texts and calls the morning of my wedding! * My makeup artist got lost and attempted to contact our planner for assistance but could not reach her. I was the one providing directions and room information to the vendor over the phone on my wedding morning! * Our planner heavily emphasized the importance of managing guest allergies and told us she would personally check in with guests regarding accommodations before dinner. This did not happen. During dinner, two guests approached me at the sweetheart table asking whether their allergies would be accommodated. * Our planner arrived approximately 40 minutes- an hour late to the rehearsal on Friday. Because the venue was close to closing, we began without her, and I ended up running my own rehearsal and processional. (If i was a planner I would be 30 minutes early, on time is late. Being 30+ minutes late after the start time is unacceptable.) * I was immediately told by the planner that she had been downstairs attempting to gain access the entire time she was late. Based on information from members of our wedding party who were waiting for her, that was not the case. We had people waiting for her. We had a lost phone being found outside during that time. She was not there. * During our first dance, she was seated in the background next to the DJ, slouched over, visibly scrolling on her phone. The bright screen is clearly visible in our first dance video. * Throughout the weekend, I received multiple complaints about her from members of the wedding party. * There were repeated errors in the wedding timeline, which was not finalized and distributed until the day before the wedding. Too many things were cut too close to the final few days before. * When the timeline was finally sent, multiple family members contacted my husband and me because bridal party members had been omitted, times were incorrect, and other information contained errors. These are the events as I experienced them. Others may have had different experiences, but this was mine.
