Maggie was our officiant for our October 2009 wedding at the Ritz in Half Moon Bay. We absolutely loved working with Maggie, and we could not recommend her more highly. I know couples getting married spend a lot of time planning the menu and looking over invitations... but I think the officiant may be one of the most important choices you make. As mentioned in other reviews the selection of an officiant for your wedding is so important and we feel like we really scored with Minister Maggie. Although my partner and I have been together for 24 years, getting married had not been an option for us until this year (thanks to the DOMA decision). That meant we had to think about and create a ceremony that made sense for us and would celebrate where we have been and where we were going together. We did not want to do the same old traditional ceremony and wanted our wedding to be real and genuine for us. We had lots of questions about how to do that and thankfully Maggie was able to help us to craft a ceremony that did all we wanted and more! We met with Maggie to talk about our ceremony and she was able to offer some creative and unique ideas for us. We were able to take those ideas, consider which ones were the best for us and put together a ceremony that felt right.
