Minia is literally THE BEST!! I've been getting my makeup done by her since I was a senior in high school! YES, she did my hair and makeup for prom and senior portraits and then again for a few nights out during college. For lashes, I've been getting my extensions done with Minia since 2018. My skin/face is typically really sensitive and Minia's been the only makeup/lash artist I've trusted. She is always so gentle, professional and informative, ensuring that I am comfortable and satisfied throughout the entire process. She's also super patient with all my needs/asks and always goes over and beyond. I love my lash sessions with her, it truly feels like I'm hanging out and chatting with my bestie! Her space is very comfy and tidy, which always reassures me. She plays any kind of music you want and is always very welcoming and warm. Here is the most recent lash set I got on 1/23. It's been a week now and my lashes still look so good! I literally can't stop staring at myself LOL If you're looking for a trusted, high-quality, relaxing makeup and/or lash experience, book with Minia NOW. I drive from San Jose to San Francisco every 3-4 weeks for my fills, so that alone says a lot! read more

I had a fantastic experience getting my hair and makeup done by Minia for my kids' school auction. She is super kind and really listened to what I wanted. I love my eyelash extensions so much, thank you, Minia! I got them done for my trip to Cancun and my lashes have withstood humidity, salty ocean water, plane rides, swimming, ziplining, everything. I would recommend them for vacays where you want to look good with minimal to no eye makeup. The lash extensions look and feel natural, and I have been getting a lot of compliments. Minia is really talented and gentle. The entire process requires excellent precision and painstaking meticulousness, and Minia sure can deliver. read more

Minia is one of the BEST eyelash extension specialist. I've had 2 other people do my eyelash extensions and nothing compares to the work that Minia does. She did my eyelashes for my vacation and I loved how it turned out. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family. read more

There are not enough words to describe how thankful I am for Minia. She is truly so talented at what she does. She made me look better than I could ever imagine while still making me look like myself and not over done. My husband was truly blown away! I received no trial hair and makeup before my wedding day as it was a destination wedding. I also gave very little direction because I fully trusted her and she knocked it out of the park. Even did an impromptu floral hair accessory freshly picked from the garden. Loved it! I could never thank you enough. read more

Let me just tell you I've had such a bad experience with my lashes so I was so scarred but with much research I found Minia and I'm more than pleased with her. It was important for me to feel comfortable with the person who would be doing my wedding makeup as i anticipated i'd be under some stress on the day of! Meeting Minia, i immediately found her to be so friendly, down to earth and yet very professional. It was easy to talk to her and i felt like she understood what i wanted but could recommend what i actually wanted (haha!). She was responsive throughout and was easy going about all my requests. She answered my beauty questions and made everything simple leading up to the big day. On the actual day of, she arrived promptly on time with her assistant and they were ready to go! They came in with big smiles and pretty much knew the drill. I can't thank them enough for reacting so calmly and somehow able to do makeup amongst the madness in the house that day. It felt like we had so many people running around and as little stressors started to pop up, they stayed professional and focused on making us look beautiful. My makeup looked flawless. I know who to call for my next event and I'll definitely be recommending her to friends and family. Thank you SO MUCH for everything! read more

Minia and her assistant, Debbie, did hair and makeup for my wedding in October and I am very happy I went with them! Minia was very easy to work with through planning and scheduling. She is easy to reach, and responds to calls and/or texts quickly. I did both a trial and the wedding day with her and Debbie. They are both such sweet people and are so great to have there on the craziness of the wedding day. We had a few unexpected things happen in the morning of the wedding day, and I was beginning to feel overwhelmed and stressed. Minia really talked me through it, gave me advise and her opinion on how to handle it, and was just such a calming presence! My hair and makeup lasted well through the day even though it was 100 degrees at my all-outdoor wedding. I am so happy with the results and so glad I went with Minia for the wedding. She is really amazing at what she does, such a professional, and has such an easy going and fun personality. She will work with you on what look you want, and you will not be disappointed! read more

I have used Minia for my wedding, boudoir photo shoot and other photo shoots; words cannot describe what a beautiful, fun person she is. Of course her work is flawless. She is super reliable and professional. She came to my house 5 am in the morning to get me ready, I mean COME ON! She works really really hard. I got lash extensions from Minia, and they look great! She is very personable, kind, and talented at such detailed work. The lashes look really natural and I'm excited to see them in the wedding pictures. I think it's great that Minia travels to you and does it in the comfort of your own home. The 2 hours just flew by! I would recommend Minia for lash extensions to all my friends. Thanks, Minia! read more

Minia recently did my eyelashes for my wedding, AND THEY WERE AMAZING! I asked for a volume set for as much va va voom as possible, and they did not disappoint! Minia is seriously the answer to all your beauty prayers. The best part is that she does it all: hair, make-up, eyelash extensions, etc. My first experience with Minia was for a Holiday Ball where I needed hair and make-up done and I wanted a very specific look. After describing the look I wanted without using the celeb's name, she got it right on the dot. Needless to say, the night was a success. Minia had such a variety of quality hair and makeup products that she had brought over to my hotel room. Not She took her time but was incredibly efficient with her art. She starts off easy so that you feel comfortable with the look, but if you want fierce, she'll go fierce. I just got my eyelash extensions done by Minia and I am OBSESSED. I wanted long black lashes and she gave me the most beautiful and soft extensions that look SO natural. There was absolutely no pain, no discomfort, in fact is was very relaxing. You lay down the whole time and it took a little over an hour and you're basically chilling the entire time. I am not sure where some girls are going where lashes feel heavy, because the ones Minia put on me feel like they are my own! I am definitely going to get them refilled :) . I recommend Minia for any beauty needs. She is super talented and just a fun person to have around while you're getting pampered! read more

Minia is amazing!! I definitely agree with all the positive reviews. In addition, I wish I could have extensions all the time (based on my experience with Minia) but I choose to have them done for my wedding this past August. Since I had never gotten lash extensions, I first went a month before to get a natural set and then got them refilled to more glam for the wedding and honeymoon. Everything from initial communication to the final outcome was professional, seamless and friendly. I really loved having the extensions and they were comfortable and received a lot of compliments. The procedure itself does take time but she makes the time go by fast and honestly feels like talking to one of your old friends. I highly recommend her, I wish I had met her before booking my makeup artist because I know she would have also done a wonderful job. read more

Look no further ladies (and gents)! Minia is all you need for your big day. She is so sweet and will go the extra mile to help you. You know she is on your side. I contacted Minia to do my hair and makeup last August. She was referred to me by my day-of coordinator. She responded immediately to my email with a quote. I set up an appointment to do a trial. Minia was arrived on time and was very professional. Throughout the trial she would make sure if I liked what she was doing or not. I never felt bad asking her to try a different color/style etc, so in the end I was really happy with how I looked. It didn't help that I didn't know what I wanted beforehand, and I only knew what I didn't want when I saw it on me (sometimes things look better in your mind than they do in real life, especially if you are not used to wearing a lot of makeup). Minia was really patient, and helped me hone in on a look that I made me look and feel amazing. I booked her for my wedding immediately after the trial. I was considering eyelash extensions for my wedding so I wanted to test them out beforehand to see how I liked them. Minia came by last weekend to apply them. The process was really easy (for me at least), all I did was lie there with my eyes closed, took a nap for 1.5 hours, and woke up gorgeous. I confess I might have snored... sorry Minia! I have been wearing the eyelash extensions for a few days now. They are completely weightless and sometimes i forget that I even have them on-- totally different from fake lashes. I will definitely be asking Minia to do them for me again right before the wedding. My wedding is coming up in a few weeks. Minia and her team will be doing hair and makeup for my 4 bridesmaids, my mom, my future mother-in-law, my aunt, my grandma, and myself. Planning the wedding is a stressful process, and I'm going to have a million things on my mind on the big day, but it's comforting to know that Minia and her team will be there so no matter what I know we will look awesome. read more

I cannot believe it took me forever to write my review. Let me tell you Minia is a GEM. I had really bad experience with my previous specialist. Then I found about Minia through my friend. This gal showed up to my apartment at 9:15am on a Sunday morning to do my makeup! Not only is she just a lovely bubbly gal, I love LOVED my look. She really listened to what I wanted. She used Mac makeup and we used lashes. It lasted ALL DAY. read more

Minia has been the answer to my makeup/hair stress. The search for a beautification vendor was one of the bigger sources of my wedding planning anxiety, as the world of makeup and hair both overwhelms and bewilders me. Then I met Minia. Immediately she made me feel at ease with her smile, patience, and confidence. She asked me questions about my taste and vision, got to know me, and then executed perfectly and with ease. My trial went so well that I started the booking process for my wedding almost immediately afterwards and begged her to come back to my apartment a few days later to help me get ready for my engagement shoot. Minia not only did my hair and makeup (on her off day nonetheless) but also stayed a little longer to help me coordinate outfits and accessories. It is such a relief to know Minia will be with me on my wedding day and I know she will help me look my best. read more

First thing first, Minia does excellent work!!! I booke her for a hair and makeup trial for my wedding day look. Our initial email thread started with her getting to know my style, what I was looking for, and a visual of my wedding dress and my face. This allowed her to visualize what she thought would enhance my beauty. She pays attention to detail and brought her bubbly personality to the table. It made it very easy to work with her and to feel comfortable around her. The day of the trial, she gave me tips on how to maintain my look. My family and fiance were very impressed with the outcome. I'm very happy to have her be a part of my special day because I know she can only outdo what she had already done. What sold me on my decision to have Minia do my hair and makeup was her attentiveness, her reasonable pricing, her artistic work, and flexability to work with any of your needs. read more

Minia to the rescue!! #truth This girl knows her stuff. I was a little behind on my Coachella prep this year and decided give Minia a call based on all of her amazing yelp reviews for eyelash extensions. Minia is so talented! Her and her team did me & my bridesmaids makeup and hair on our big day. Everyone looked beautiful throughout the night. I feel like a lot of makeup artists do makeup without really taking the time to think about what looks best based on their clients features. Minia really focused on what looked best for my eye and my face shape and made me look and feel beautiful that day. Thank you so much! read more

First off, I am a perfectionist. Thank godness I found Minia because my hair and makeup were more than perfect on my wedding day. Knowing how picky I am, I had to schedule a trial with Minia before my wedding. She was so patient and it took us a little over THREE HOURS to get my desired look. As the day went on after the trial, I kept her updated about how my makeup and hair were holding up. The day of my wedding, we did a couple of things differently; like lightening up my eyeshadow and using a different concealer to cover up a scar. Needless to say, she was so patient with me and my requests. Minia is flexible and has great ideas to brighten up your look. She also did hair and makeup for my mother and two of my bridesmaids, whom have told me over and over that they have never felt more beautiful. It was such a great experience to have Minia doll me up for my wedding day. The makeup was long lasting and only my lips needed a touchup. I danced so much that day and I still had my face looking flawless by the end of it all. My hair was not so lucky. It was very humid/windy that day and after going to the beach to take photos, my curls were gone before we reached the reception... I think that one was my fault. Anyhow, this was my first time getting dolled up by a hair/makeup artist and I thank Minia for making it such a wonderful experience. I hope I have another excuse in the near future to have her do my makeup again. Highlights: *High quality makeup, yet reasonably priced *Minia has a wonderful personality, easy to talk to *Flexible and versatile: Does traditional foundation AND airbrush *Patience-Takes her time and listens to the customer *Profesional- On time, easy to contact- quick response read more

Umm... Did I just find my best friend on Yelp? Well you could say that that would be taking it a bit far, but when I texted Minia for the first time about getting my eyelashes done, she was quick, friendly, and accommodating right off the bat. When she met me early in the morning for my second ever eyelash extension application, I felt comfortable and confident that I had found the perfect eyelash expert! I thought that my first experience was good until I saw how much more natural and beautiful the set of lashes she put on me turned out to be. It's been an entire day and I don't even feel a difference from the lashes - compared to the first time I had it done when there was occasional poking and definitely a bit of discomfort from the falsies. Anyway... This one-woman-wonder is not only great when it comes to the lash game, but she's just downright awesome to be around. So if you're gonna choose to be stuck with someone for around two hours, AND having them poking at your eyeballs... Minia is no doubt someone who you can trust. Thanks girl! read more

I had Minia do my makeup for my wedding this past October, and all I can say is that she made getting ready such a calm experience. From the moment she arrived, Minia was so acommodating and she has such a calm demeanor that will put you at ease. She and her assistant (who was also awesome) worked quickly but I always felt in control. At one point, she noticed that I had not done my nails in all the wedding craziness, and INSISTED that she take care of them for me before the ceremony. She did a wonderful and quick job on them so I didn't have to walk down the aisle with messy nails! I wore my hair and makeup with confidence and everything stayed in place all day. She also suggested that I get my eyelashes extended for the occassion, and I was very reluctant at first but I'm SO glad I did. I am now an eyelash fanatic-- I've done two more lash sessions with her and will continue to use her services for years to come. She makes them look super natural and beautiful and I can't praise her enough! read more

I found Minia through Yelp. I was getting married in SF and was looking for a make up artist for the day of my wedding. I knew I wanted someone who worked with MAC cosmetics, and had read all the reviews for Minia. I texted her and received an immediate response, which showed great customer service. We exchanged emails, and I sent her a picture of me. We discussed looks I was going for and she even emailed me pictures of ideas that she thought might be good choices. My wedding was two months away, however she kept in touch and would send make up tips with lipsticks and foundations to try so that I would have them to use for touch up. I was able to "practice" in advance with the long wearing lipstick, which made me more comfortable when we used it day of. On the day of my wedding, she showed up early (which to me is on time), and came fully prepared. There was a lot of chaos in my room, however she fit right in, and did an amazing job. My eyes never looked better! She took before and after photos, and I couldn't believe how beautiful my face looked! Minia is a complete professional and its obvious she is passionate about what she does, as it shows in her work. My hair (up-do) held throughout the ceremony and into the night. Not only is Minia extremely talented at what she does, but her personality and demeanor makes one feel extremely relaxed and comfortable. She is just great to be around.
