Both staff members I spoke to were rude and unwilling to confirm this for me. Their reason for being rude when I called them out was that it was too soon after they opened when I called. They lost my key for two days, and when they found it, they didn't say anything until I made a big deal about it saying that the tow company would call them to figure out who's responsible for replacing my key. They told me I needed to replace my fuel pump, yet when I got a second opinion (wasn't going to trust them or give them any more of my money), it was just the relay. They'll be rude to you and they'll rip you off. Not recommended.

Once they looked at the car, they told me an additional $180 would be the cost to get rid of the squealing and the engine would cost me $1000... I am a student and could not afford $1000 and when talking to my dad found out I could fix the engine issue for $400 at home. When I went to pay the fee of $180 and the Squealing issue of $180 they tried to charge me $700 because each part of the car they looked at costs $180 not just a general diagnosis. After a long conversation of how that is not ok because they did not tell me, they dropped it to $500 which is still absurd. Not only that but that awful Squeal is still there... so the company took $500 from me and did absolutely nothing.

We were extremely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and we never felt pressured. We decided to go ahead and purchase our new CRV and it was available for pickup when promised. The Financial Services Manager Mikias was a please to deal with and offered us protection packages. Mikias didn't pressure us to buy but we did purchase the extended warranty and a protection package. On our pickup day we were very excited and were given a thorough tour of our new vehicle. Our tech was Jona who explained the vehicle settings for the use of our hybrid. He even paired our phones for us! A big shout out to the team at Wheaton Honda. Your team made our new vehicle purchase very enjoyable. Thank you all so much. Suzanne and Rod

It appears more focused on generating revenue than accurately diagnosing and resolving issues. Their parts are also noticeably more expensive compared to other dealerships. Recommendations: * Obtain a second opinion from a reputable third-party mechanic before authorizing any major maintenance or repairs at Wheaton Honda. * Do not collect your vehicle or sign off on service without a proper walkthrough with service rep. Request a detailed review of the completed work with the service representative to ensure all issues have been adequately addressed * Exercise caution when relying on the assurances from the Service Manager (warranty stage) - Ensure all service details and commitments are documented in writing. Also send an email with details to dealership and copy Honda Canada. * If problems persist after service, promptly report the issue to Honda Canada and file a formal complaint. all the best

Given the dealership contacted me, apologized and refunded the cost of the belly pan bolt replacement, I cannot say I was scammed but given my complaint was accepted so readily I do now wonder why I was charged in the first place. I had indicated my initial e-mail complaint was ignored . I receive DMARC reports from all the major e-mail, and I did receive one from outlook indicating my mail was accepted. When their service follow up email is replied to, rallyappointments@outlook.com address is pre-loaded into the reply (this is a different email address from the sender), While Rally Subaru may not be using the mail box any longer it is active and mail is accepted. When the service manager contacted me she advised that e-mail address was no longer used. If an email address is no longer used it should not be publicly available. She was responding to the review I had posted on rate a dealer.ca (basically the same as my original Yelp post). It is commendable they acknowledged fault and made recompense but it does raise the question why I had to pay for the service in the first place and only when I complained was action taken. Almost seems like they intended to take advantage of me if they could. Not really a scam but not really behaviour with integrity either.

For instance my mom wanted to pay for winter studded tires for me, and the front end was being a pain in the ass about it. So I talked to the service manager and low and behold she gave me a pre authorized payment form for my mom to fill out and fax back to me to authorize a payment from her for my purchase. Great service department, amazing actually. The parts and service department talk with each other, they know what they need, they bought and buy extra winter studded tires for winter and sell them at a discounted rate the next year. The ones I bought and have on are some of the best winter tires you can buy, tires warehouse couldn't beat VW's price, I was very impressed. Basic services are a bit pricey but hey, labour is expensive and I don't have a garage and tools to do it myself so I'm not going to complain. Oh and this entire emissions scandal, please.....there is. I thing wrong with my car and it still meets our provinces standards. But hey I'll take something if they give it to me. This dealership is great, the give me the services I ask for, I am very clear about what it is I want though. Cheers, enjoy being serviced;)
