This auto garage specializes in Japanese cars and normally offers competitive prices, which is why I brought my Civic to them. I've gotten several jobs done, costing me nearly $2,000. At first, I had a pleasant experience as the owner (Ming) and his son (Jason) took the time to show me the repairs required and explained why. This is what differentiated them from the other garages. On my next visit, they were less patient and started giving me attitude. The only explanation is that Ming quoted the job too low and the job took longer than anticipated. They made me feel like it was my fault. On my most recent visit, my timing belt had snapped and I needed to get it towed to a garage for a quick repair. I called Ming beforehand and he assured me that he had time to do the job the next day, so got the vehicle towed that evening. I called twice the day after to get an update on my repair, and after finally getting a hold of Ming near the end of the day he tells me he had no time to do the job. I mentioned my disappointment since I use of a vehicle the following day, and he went off on how I was placing too much pressure on him, was asking too many questions about their repairs, and to tow my car elsewhere. Great customer service (!) I reluctantly accepted for the job to be done at a later date despite his threat- after all, what choice did I have? Don't expect your vehicle repair to be ready when they promise. A shame that most mechanics have zero customer service skills. With the number of garages in Ottawa- you'd think that it would be to their advantage to develop a loyal customer base. I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more
