Anyone seeking new teeth should be aware that as long as she retains this attitude, I cannot recommend this place. I am a calm person and understood she was doing her job, but most patients are scared and need compassion and clear guidance. Paying such a high price for a dental assistant to be rude is simply unacceptable. One of the main reasons I chose Clear Choice was to have a better experience, but this Med Assistant's behavior made that impossible. I hate to write this because nearly everyone else was kind, respectful, and empathetic. It's disappointing that one person's attitude overshadowed the professionalism of Dr. Olsen and Dr. McClornan, who were very kind. It only takes one negative encounter to spoil the entire day. Everything about Dr. Hale and his staff has been superb. The office is always spotless, the staff and front office team are amazing, and most importantly, Dr. Hale is truly a master in his field. I originally booked an appointment for my teenage daughter, who was suffering from TMJ and jaw issues. I was so impressed with his assessment and the Invisalign treatment plan that I booked an appointment for myself for a cleaning and X-rays. I have always been a little self-conscious about my smile, but Dr. Hale and his team were never judgmental or critical. Instead, they made me feel comfortable and helped get me back on the right track. My daughter's jaw issues have since improved dramatically, so I recently brought in my 24-year-old son, who also needed Invisalign for similar issues. Lastly, my wife has always been extremely critical of dentists due to previous bad experiences. I convinced her to give Dr. Hale a try, and she has also had a great experience. Two other dentists were pessimistic about their ability to fix it with bonding, without substantial removal of tooth structure. As I am blessed with overall healthy and pretty teeth, I resigned myself to just live with it. While it was barely noticeable to others, it was a substantial source of frustrating, near-constant physical discomfort for me. After moving to San Antonio, I wondered if this practice could help me out. Dr. Beckel saw me for what I assumed would be just a preliminary consultation, and he convinced me to let him fix it right then and there! I got the sense he could tell it had really been bugging me a while, and wanted to make it better. I felt his communication was good and his bedside manner really excellent. He gave the problem a lot of thought personalized to my specific case, and was optimistic--but realistic--about his ability to fix it with as microscopically minimal enamel removal as possible. After just a few minutes, I got handed a mirror and was stunned to see a tooth that looked genuinely as good as new. It was actually a bit shocking, in a good way. I am truly amazed by the appearance of this bonding.
