These guys are the literal best. Everyone at the office is so kind and seems to make a point of making visits as stress free as possible. The receptionists have always treated me kindly and have not rushed me when I'm scheduling with them or have additional questions, the hygienists are professional but talk you through every step so you aren't surprised as to what's going on or what happens next, and the dentists themselves are quick but efficient in handling the concerns brought up. I'd mentioned tooth hypersensitivity in one area and the hygienist went out of her way to numb the location for my routine cleaning and the dentist went over possible advanced solutions to help. I ended up getting a filling over the area which has helped the sensitivity immensely. At no other office I've tried prior have they offered to numb the location to help with the discomfort or be proactive about the issue when I've brought attention to it. I never thought it I could be such a simple fix, but they took the time to care and the issue's been mostly resolved. It's absolutely worth noting that the hygienists and the dentists aren't rough in the slightest and have the gentlest touch. While I myself don't have dentist anxiety, I'm sure this must be a relief for those that experience it. I highly recommend this office if you do have dentist anxiety or are simply looking for a new dentist. You won't regret it.

Barbara provides caring and thorough cleaning, works with you to make sure your teeth feel clean as she works, and offers gentle but direct suggestions for keeping teeth healthy at home. The treatment included the 3 step retainers K1, K2 and K3 this are not custom retainers they are one fits all. My son was not able to retain them in his mouth during his sleep and lost them or the dog ate them, however I purchased 3 or 4 retainers at an additional $150.00 they will not tell you that you can purchase this on line for $60 and maybe save you some money (like I said they are not custom made) After tired of purchasing I called the office and they suggested maybe cementing this to his mouth. I wanted to wait and give him another chance. In December I called to discuss the procedure and left a voice mail that was never returned. I took my son to an orthodontist for a 2nd opinion and he said it was more than just retainers. When I called again to Kinard to ask them for a print out of the charges and procedures they got apprehensive about me not wanting to proceed with their practice. I paid Kinard for a consultation, 2 appointments and 2 retainers. Its a bit pricey! With the current orthodontist I pay as I go and I see the work. Be careful about paying this practice upfront for work not done yet. I think I am owed a refund.

I scheduled myself for a just a cleaning this morning for today Friday Sept 11 but sorry I cannot recommend them in the end. A series of disappointments led me to say not thank you and walk out. I was 20 minutes early for my appointment and they were 10 min late despite the office was closed right up to scheduled 10am appt time. Not sure why but they kept calling me by my middle name, I asked them to stop and call me by my first or last name but they kept doing it anyway. They said I needed to also get new X-Rays and later be seen by the dentist on top of this routine 6 month cleaning. I just had X-Rays and seen the dentist on the prior visit 3 months earlier, I just wanted a routine cleaning. They had a variety of reasons for the extras and kept pointing out its all covered by insurance so no charge to me this morning, but that was not my point I did not want the extras just a cleaning to determine if I really wanted their service in the end. My usual dentist is closed on Fridays so I was shopping a new dentist office. I had all kinds of trouble with a dental implant this year so I've been seen by a dentist at least 6-7 times in recent months so I'm not a big fan of getting services I don't really need or want despite their insistence of it costs me nothing today. I reluctantly agreed so go forward, the hygienist continued to call me by my middle name and failed 3 times to get my blood pressure so that is when I decided I had just about enough and canceled the whole appointment leaving and I WILL NOT BE RETURNING! Today was a far cry from the all star visit I had there 3 months ago so I know they got the potential to provide good service and obviously your results may vary but I will continue to shop for a new dentist elsewhere. Long time patient…read more The dental care is good... I'll give em' that... the problem is that now, on two occasions I've had a dental emergency and they refused to see me. They would not squeeze me in to look at a my broken crown in order to replace or repair it. But rather, they wanted to schedule me in along with their regular appointments and make me wait for days or the following week causing me to have to go several days with discomfort and a part of my tooth that was broken. This is very frustrating. My advice is to find a dentist who can squeeze you in the same day to look at dental emergencies instead of treating you like a regular appointment. Ended up going to SA Family dentist over on Braun Rd. They saw me the same day.
