I was referred to Tara by a personal trainer to help get my traps "unstuck" so I could achieve proper form on lat pulldowns. It turns out that years of bad posture and neglect had made it impossible to treat with massages. Tara was meticulous in her initial assessment and gave me exercises that progressed/evolved through each week based on my feedback. She starts every appointment with a pain or stiffness level assessment in key areas and will perform adjustments and demo new exercises for the upcoming week and correct your form so you can do them at home. Eventually we moved to a biweekly, then a monthly cadence. We targeted a lot of different parts of the body based on how I was feeling, starting from traps, glutes (to assist with frequent ankle rolling), hip flexors, grip strength, among other things. I have seen 5+ other chiropractors in the past decade, but Tara is my favorite and the most effective. I love working with Dr. Tara. She is truly one of a kind. I've seen many practitioners over the years, but I've never encountered someone who incorporates so many different techniques and modalities into their practice. I have a history of herniated discs from a car accident in 2002, and while I've been able to strengthen my core and maintain my back over the years, things changed after having my son in 2022. Dr. Tara is amazing. I can confidently say she has healing hands. I injured each side of my shoulders during two separate times. Usually with injuries, even after recovery that part of the body just doesn't work the same. However, this is not true when working with her. If you have a thyroid disorder and your labs are "normal" and you still feel like garbage, call Dr Tara!!! In the course of a year, autoimmune disease (Hoshimoto's) wrecked me. I went from being a fit and happy 15 time marathoner to a person that slept 12 hours a night and had a hard time making it up and down the stairs of my house.
