Went in today for a massage with Terril. Upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by the front desk…read morestaff. They were friendly but not in that fake way that you see in a lot of the surface industry. I was offered a choice between tea and water and was given my paperwork to fill out. My facial with Terril was very relaxing. We went into the treatment room and discuss what my concerns were with my skin and what I was hoping to get out of my appointment. Terril was very attentive, asking questions along the way. One thing I really liked was that the table was heated because I've been having some issues with my back that make it uncomfortable to lay down so having that heated surface under my back made my appointment even more relaxing. My skin felt amazing when she was done, even though she had to do a few extractions. I was so pleased that I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a few months out so that my skin will be able to recover from the upcoming summer months. I highly recommend checking out this wonderful little spa and I look forward to returning for my next facial.

You can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in. The salt rock room was beautiful -- almost magical. Such a peaceful, calming space that instantly sets the tone for relaxation. My boyfriend treated me to three services: a cranial treatment, a full body massage, and a facial. Every single employee I worked with was incredible. They were attentive, professional, and made sure I was completely comfortable the whole time. By the end, I felt completely euphoric -- almost like I could have drifted off to sleep right there. That's how relaxed and amazing I felt. It was exactly what I needed. If you're looking to truly unwind and reset, I highly recommend booking here. ‍

When you sign up for a subscription online, you must be able to cancel it online. Requiring customers to call and submit written notice creates unnecessary barriers and is inconsistent with the Federal Trade Commission's "click-to-cancel" rule under the Negative Option Rule. In addition, requiring a 30-day notice period results in customers being charged for an additional month even after requesting cancellation. Further, although customers have already paid for services--including those accrued during the notice period--those services are subject to a 90-day expiration. After that, they are forfeited with no refund or extension. Similar practices involving expiring paid credits have been challenged in cases involving companies such as Audible. These policies raise significant consumer protection concerns and should be reviewed.

It's been a few days since my massage with therapist Theo and I am still sore, which is a good thing! I specifically asked for deep tissue pressure and they absolutely provided it. Atmosphere inside is minimal yet tranquil. There is a sound machine in the massage area that sounds to me like ocean waves crashing. There are many add-ons to your massage, should you like them, from cupping to scalp focus, plus more. I will be back to work on the lower half of my body since we decided to focus on my upper the last visit. I didn't feel pressured to buy into the gift cards or membership the way other reviewers mentioned. The staff persons I chatted with were both welcoming and warmhearted.

Some truly wonderful graffiti/urban art in the surrounding area. I digress. So this place is located inside of a modernish residential building. You would not know there is a SPA inside unless you actually go into the establishment, get checked in, and take the elevator up to the actual SPA. There you will see two nicely sized hot tubs and a cold plunge tub. Be warned that cold plunge is COLD! Opposite the tubs are the dry sauna and steam room which are HOT and the steam room is steamy! It does not take long to get a good sweat going, and before you know it you can feel the toxins and bad juju just melting away. They several types of water to re-hydrate room temp and cold water and sparkling water. I do believe I saw some plates that had oranges or apples or something of the sort. Be sure to try one of the foot scrub baths and massage. It really is the perfect tonic for pampering and stress relief. The massage therapist who handle my feet and calves was super friendly and professional. This foot care scrub and massage really the feet and calves much needed tension relief. There is a wonderful outdoor relaxation deck with lots of lounge chairs and tables to take breaks in between soak, sauna, and steam. This deck area overlooks a portion of the Portland city scape and highway. What made this deck enjoyable for me was waxing existential about what the folks in the cars driving by on the freeway might be thinking as you head back for a second dip into the hot tub. The SPA, locker and shower, and changing areas are all thoroughly maintained, clean, and give you everything you need to transition back into the Portland Urban. A really pleasant and enjoyable surprise Portland surprise.

There's a small outdoor, open balcony area but the chairs are uncomfortable. The thermal area is entirely indoors, and there's windows to look outside but still felt claustrophobic, not a relaxing experience at all. Sadly, we were looking forward to coming here for a long time and will not be back.

If only we knew that this ugly virus would rear its ugly head, we would have rescheduled sooner. But I'm always trying to save money, thus spreading the massages out way too far, albeit needing them for serious pain relief, not simply light relaxation massage.   Most of my massages are face up, focused on my head, neck and temples, unfortunately high risk infection areas for both people with our nose, eyes and month too close. Thus I would be happy to have a feet only massage since they hurt now too from my walks. I'm walking twice a week now lol. What I propose is a temporary small hole made between the 2 massage rooms where only your feet stick out, a glory hole for your feet if you will. Hopefully you are 6+ feet tall, I'm not even close lol. But this will allow for distance whilst still getting massage for pain relief on both feets ;)....but only one at a time please to keep the hole small for safety. I'm just try'na think outside the box/hole.
