*Consultation Review…read more I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sean Behnam. He was very friendly, enthusiastic, and made me feel comfortable right away. The consultation was very thorough, including a microscopic examination of my donor area, which helped me understand the strength and condition of my hair. He also drew a potential hairline and showed me photos of patients with similar hair conditions. What I appreciated most was his honesty. He gave me realistic expectations and even shared tips on how I could improve my donor area before considering a procedure. I never felt rushed or pressured to sign up for anything. Dr. Sean was genuine, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain everything. Highly recommend!

From the very beginning, the team was professional, friendly, and easy to work withboth over the phone and during my initial consultation with Dr. Ben. I had my procedure on October 3, 2025, and now, six months later, I'm happy to say my hair is coming in nicely. I did have a few concerns about some areas that seemed slower to grow, but Dr. Ben addressed all of them during my follow-up appointment. He took the time to listen, explain, and reassure me, which I really appreciated. What stands out most is how much he stands behind his work. He's been incredibly accommodating and has even offered a second procedure at no cost in a couple of months if the final results don't meet expectations. That level of care and confidence is hard to find. Overall I've had a very positive experience so far, and I'll be sure to update this review once my results are fully in. Photos are from day of procedure, I'll update when all hair is in .

In fact, he was the only surgeon who actually agreed to have an in-person consultation with me. Prior to my surgery, the communication remained very open; there wasn't a question I emailed that wasn't promptly answered. On the day of my surgery, with my nerves clearly getting the best of me, Dr. Dauer, with his incredibly calm and sincere bedside manner, assured me everything would go exactly as we'd planned. He was right. In fact, my surgery went better than planned because when I looked in that mirror when he was finished, it was difficult to not start sobbing on the spot. His work has changed my life. That statement sounds quite dramatic, until you undergo the experience and see the difference post-surgery, knowing you will never have to draw your eyebrows on again. There are so many hair transplant surgeons in LA and NY, it was initially hard for me to wrap my mind around how I'd find the perfect one. But once I began considering my non-negotiables, the list dwindled. After much, much research, the only logical choice for me was Dr. Dauer. My logic sure came through for me on this one! If you can get an appointment with him, you'd better book it! I can't imagine putting such an important life decision in any other surgeon's hands.

If they cannot show you hundreds of good before and 8-12M after photos do not trust them! I hope to save someone else from making the same mistake I did. Do your surgery with Dr. Dauer. End of story.

I had already started to…read moreuse a red light cap which helped but could not reverse the extreme hair loss ( fistfuls post hair wash and lots of hair shedding throughout the day) Seeing Elaine ( a trichologist) was the perfect next step. after examining my scalp and hair follicles and getting an idea about my nutrition, health and sleep habits, she confirmed some immediate low hanging fruit things I could do at home to help with my oily and inflamed scalp( shampooing more often, adding supplements, sleeping better, etc) to help and I did see an immediate and dramatic reduction in hair shedding and some new hair growth but after 3 months I hit a plateau so contacted Elaine to start the 3 month stem cell treatment. As she described it takes a few months to see new and strengthened growth which I started to notice around month 2. And now after 3 months in Jenny's good hands, (and while I am not back to my 20s-30s hair thickness) it is noticeably more full and I felt comfortable getting my hair cut and permed once again. I was afraid prior that someone manipulating my hair with chemicals would make my hair loss worse but it is really healthy!! I wanted a non chemical ( ie minoxidil) method to regain my hair and this was just what I needed. While the results are impressive as one would hope given the cost, what stood out even more was the honest transparency and integrity of the business. Some examples: 1) when I left my first meeting with Elaine, she gave me a lot of information and specific recommendations but she 100% supported and advocated for my non-DAMO ( and less expensive) shampoo choice. No trying to convince me that the DAMO shampoo was better. she even said her husband used my shampoo. She did not try to hard sell me on the stem cell treatment 2) During the time I was managing my own hair care, I had questions about products and processes and she was so responsive in giving her expert advice again with not hard sell and she was a cheerleader when I shared some progress I was making 3) when I checked in with her after I plateaued to get started on the SC treatment she had to gently and frequently stop me from "overbuying" by reassuring me that the treatment plan she recommended which was less expensive would achieve the goals I wanted. How many businesses do you know that prevents you from spending more money with them for your own good? Anyways, I'm going to keep going with the home treatment and I know that I will have Elaine as my advisor throughout my hair journey. Also, you will not find more pleasant and courteous people in this line of business. thank you Elaine and Jenny!
