Like most moms, I am running around like a crazy woman, carting kids everywhere, running errands, and working outside the home as well. Trying to be the best example I can be, fast food is the last choice on my list to feed everyone as I don't always have the time to cook a good, healthy meal. Mind over matter to the rescue! Not only can I satisfy everyone's picky palates, I can fulfill my protein goals and keep the carbs (simple carbs of course, ha!) Low. And for those of you who are obsessive with macro counting like me, the macro count is clearly found on the label. These "healthy" meals are still tasty and love that they don't have that "preservatives frozen meal" taste. The meals are about $10 a piece but you're paying for convenience as well as "healthy". Health is wealth. Healthier foods are always going to be more costly. You have the option of delivery but why pay the extra fee when they have so many locations to pick up from. Can't make it during their hours of pick up? No problem. Just shoot them a message and they make it convenient for you. Oh and the lovely little boxes the meals come in? Reusable! So if you ever decide to get into meal prep yourself, (good luck with that! Lol!), you can save these little boxes for that or use them as left over containers for your relatives at the holidays. read more

After three years of living in Tampa, we finally decided to try a meal prep service instead of cooking. Mind over Matter was SO good! Love the variety of the meals, and the macros were excellent. We did a 10 meal pack- mixed it up both times. I must say the 1lb grilled sliced chicken was perfectly cooked, not dry and was great for snacking or salads. Breakfast choices and low carb options. The food portions are very small and not that good. I threw up after eating two meals which were very spicy upset my stomach a lot. I don't throw up very easy. I would not recommend buying this meal plan cause it's not that good. I highly regret buying from them the person who delivered the food was nice. She put it inside the front door for wanting 25 bucks for delivery each week is outrageous. That makes it to 12 bucks meal and the portions are not big enough to qualify for 12 bucks a meal very disappointed the rains were very high readings on this food was very high, but I only give it two stars. I would give it one star but the person deliver. It was very nice and they have my stomach soap that I threw up twice. It's not acceptable for male delivery that's supposed to be high-quality. I would never order from them again because of this. they said it was low sodium, but it wasn't buddies don't lie. My body said it was higher sodium than they said it would be and I'm disappointed in being lied to. I figured the store levels. They were refuse to tell me what they were per each entry so I know the embellishing in embellishing on how low sodium it is very disappointed in mean lied to that's a dealbreaker for me. I live with two other people who have fit meals prepped. One was jet fuel meals which were always dried out and over priced. Then I tried mind over matter meals. ALWAYS fresh and never dried out. Ok so this place is not in my general area but if they were I would be buying their meals. My relative purchases them and she loves them. It helps her save on meal prepping and she has lost a few pounds. She sends me photos and they look delicious. There is one that she said was lacking in seasoning and she added a little hot sauce to it but I think it's because we are multicultural and our palates are use to an array of seasonings. read more

If you think that having delicious, healthy, cooked meals delivered to your home is too expensive...you need to check this out...because that is what I thought at first. But I was wrong. I was tired of answering the "what's for dinner" question every day after work and many times just ended up getting expensive takeout. There are three of us so we end up getting either the 14 meals eating 4 nights and having some for lunches, or I get 21 meals and eat all of the work-week days and I can still share with my parents. I like that the menu is different week to week with some of my favorites coming back now and again. The food is responsible and healthy, with the nutrients on the labels. We like that we are eating so well without having to do anything except warm them up. The meals we buy from them weekly cost less than what I would need to spend to make them myself. The food is delicious. My picky husband sits next to me during dinner going "mmmmm" as he eats. Ordering is easy. It's weekly and is not automatic, so you go on and pick your meals. If you happen to forget to order, you don't get meals and aren't charged. So there is no risk...but I would be mortified if I missed a deadline since I rely on it so much. An unexpected side benefit...these healthy meals have inspired us. We have all lost weight and are more focused on our health and well being. I hate to put any junk into my body during the day when I am putting such healthy meals into it at night. I'm so thankful for the people who started this company. Until recently I only got to hear from my son how delicious the food was (he works at M.O.M). I typically have been the one to make his pre-made lunches and I thought, this is ridiculous. Although this is not a traditional stand alone, sit down restaurant, it puts out some really really good food and for a moderately, reasonable price/meal. You can go online (I use their Instagram page) and you can choose from many purchasing options. Personally I use them as a meal prep option. I like the way they label the macronutrients on their packaging. You know exactly what your getting SO you can track everything easily. And it is very convenient as I don't know or even care to learn how to cook; and it takes the hassle out of grocery shopping. And they change their menu up frequently with "low carb" options,etc which is really great. I highly recommend MOM (Mind over Matter) for great meals for anyone into fitness, or just too busy to shop and cook. Search M.O.M. on Instagram or probably Facebook as well, I'm not sure.
