Long story short, buying 2 of his book counted as passes for a room.... and ended up saving us about $20. The actual game we paid was a blast. As a pair we were about to escape with a few minutes to spare. If I'm in the area, I will definitely retire. The books seem to be pretty good as well.

[Customer Service] 10/10 * Anthony, who we meet consistently every Wednesday, is god-sent. He is very knowledgeable , friendly and makes your experience very pleasant. He understands and knows how to address new clients and their concerns; whether it'd be anxiety or the lack of understanding of how these games work. Due to his charismatic personality and his ability to communicate with others, Anthony definitely encourages and brings many loyal customers to Odyssey. [Facility] 10/10 * From the entrance to the room, the facility is extremely well maintained and clean. There is bathroom that is always readily accessible and available. The furnitures in each of the rooms and seating areas are dust free and clean around the edges. [Games] 10/10 * Without diving into too much spoilers, each game offered by Odyssey are fun, exciting and encourage the use of a lot of brainpower. So far, as of 01/24/2024, my party has only completed 2 of the 5 games and we most definitely plan on returning! Odyssey Escape Game is a MUST-TRY, if you're a new or returning escapee.

As someone who is a big scaredy-cat, I asked my friend to call to see if live actor was scary, and they assured us that it was not scary. I can say that they were true to their word! We had Tanner as our live actor / guide through the experience. He was very immersive and passionate about the role. This was my first time doing a room with a live actor, so I don't have a point of comparison. I personally didn't like the way clues were given, but others may appreciate the banter and silly actions Tanner was doing to lead us in the right direction. I thought the addition of "crisis" moments was a clever way to reward strong players. My main issue with the room was that it was linear. At no point were two groups of people working on something simultaneously. That means that if you have more than three people, some members may be standing around. There was also one puzzle that is solved solely by trial-and-error, which is poor design. For the price, I had higher expectations in production value. The best part of The Grand Zeppelin was the ending, and I do want to commend Tanner for providing us with an immersive experience!

I don't think many escape rooms include about how many people passed the room, but I'm not sure if they ever update it or if the numbers are accurate. Angelica introduced us to the room and setting! She was super kind~ We did the basketball one (rated at easy, 50% pass rate, up to 6 ppl in a room) as a warmup. If 6 people were in this small room, it would definitely feel claustrophobic. It wasn't too challenging or simple. The hardest thing was how to use the walkie talkie since it was my first time LOL. Angelica had to interventions and tell us to let go of the black button on the walkie talkie. We were a bit stumped with how some of the puzzles work because I never thought I could do this in particular to find clues. Some of the visuals and props could've needed some work like painting, antiqueness, and productional set up. But the room was pretty clear with what needed to be solved. Their wooden placards for escaping or failing the puzzle were mediocre though The person working when we ended took some not great pictures (and very crooked) but kind enough to retake . Another thing so I didn't like is that when we opened the final door to the actual room, the timer kept going. So we don't really know when we finished (or if we were even close to the leaderboard). The room and floor were also freezing cold.

I definitely recommend for team and friend outings.
