The word that kept coming to my mind during every moment that I was privileged to be at the Retreat Ranch was "MAGICAL". At every turn and with every step, I was amazed at the attention to detail that went into making this space an oasis of positivity. Shannon and every member of the staff at the Retreat Ranch was available, loving, and so generous. They were authentically happy to be there and so us to join them in this oasis. They offer lots of activities for enrichment, but you don't have to do one thing if you don't want. The friendly, free-roaming horses create an air of gentle peace. Jennifer created such wonderful and healthy food for all of us. I could see, feel, and taste the love in every bite. I had the opportunity to do horse yoga, which was another magical experience that I can't wait to do again. I also learned to make candles, made a beautiful bracelet, and overcame my resistance to doing a cold plunge. They also have pools, loungers, a hot tub, and an innovative steam room. I don't want to give away too many of the surprises, but I highly recommend taking the time to do the Intentional Path. It is like an inspirational scavenger hunt. Even the 15 other guests were all open and hospitable. It was a pleasure to commune with like-minded souls from all over the country. I would highly, highly recommend an experience at the Retreat Ranch to any man or woman. I can't wait to return. It is a magical opportunity for self-discovery at any stage of life. The second you drive through the front gate you immediately have a sense these folks take extreme pride in the operation. The property is beautiful, facilities are immaculately maintained and the livestock receives five star care. We made the visit to Marble Falls to see an old friend. We didn't take part in the yoga or trails trail ride, but can say with full confidence had we it would have been equally as amazing. I highly recommend Retreat Ranch!! read more

First, please notice how old the previous reviews are compared to mine These pictures do not depict the experience you will have. The "Chef" served packaged cold cuts and hard boiled eggs and some baked mess of oatmeal and carrots and we were served water, just water No juice, No decaf coffee just TAP water and hold the ice Thank you....NO LUNCH and a bagged salad, and watery chili for dinner.... Day 1. Nature Walk- Hey ladies walk around my property and collect stuff to make an art project..OK. So I proceed to walk a few acres of muddy mess to see the Goats behinds and Electrified Fence YES don't shock yourself but your welcome to give them a snack if you manage not to get shocked! It looks liked they were clearing or burning a couple acres so it was a mess and really dangerous, came across some trash and cans I, lovely, got stung by a bee and decided I'd had enough. Now, off to the horse stalls where you will paint on thier flanks of the poor horse impatiently stands tied between two stalls, take a picture with that horse and your painted mess and now the fun part. You get to give that horse a shower and clean up mess as you commune with Nature Opps.. no horseback riding today ladies, it's a misty out..... maybe tomorrow What? This is why we came lady No transportation offered in town which is a good 15 minute drive so good luck getting an Uber (your expense) if you did what to escape your luxury accommodations which consisted of a lower bunk bed and a God Awful amount of reminders not to flush tampons or Q-tips down the toilets The kitchen to my knowledge is not Health Department Certified and the Ranch itself is run by ladies who have to bow to Ms Jamil Ego. I spent my second night there cleaning the kitchen and setting the dining table up properly, well... I was told my reservation had been canceled and Shannon had her husband leave me the side of the road where we met my Uber driver at 7 am of course I paid for that Uber ride Both lost their jobs during Covid and trying to keep their Ranch running by scamming a "Reteat Ranch" so you pay to play on their homestead So sad this wellness industry was so ethical 30 years ago and now we have people like this leaving an Unwelcome Stain on the Holistic community, the likes that will haunt industry forever Shannon read more

The retreat with Shannon was everything I could of hoped for and more! The attention to detail and care for all the ladies on the retreat was unbelievable. I went to their weekend camping yoga retreat this past weekend in Aguanga CA and it was a wonderful experience. Best mother's day present, ever! It was one of the most positive, meaningful, funny, silly, aerobic, relaxing, fulfilling, and loving experiences of my life. 22 different women just sharing and enjoying our time together, laughing over a sip of wine. Retreat Ranch is pure magic. From the time you drive through the gate and are greeted by horses and chickens and roll up to the the beautiful yurts and common area you can't help but immediately be at peace. The yoga on the yoga and yoga deck was just right. I wanted to spend the entire 4 days just hanging out on the yoga deck listening to the wind blow through the drapes. This was the best retreat that I have attended. Shannon, the host and instructor was authentic, warm and welcoming, and delightful to be around. Everything that we did for meditation to yoga to workshops was designed to help us become better people. Also, everything was brought to us in a way that we could practice once we got home and continue the positive energy in our every day lives. I am still high from my weekend retreat in March. Walking in, not knowing what to expect we were greeted with hugs (and wine!). From that moment on everything was perfect. We laughed, cried, exercised, drank, played games, colored, meditated, and learned a little bit about ourselves and the other women. I just returned home today and I can't say enough wonderful things about this retreat or my experience. Although I wasn't sure what to expect, I left feeling blown away by how much I enjoyed it and that it ended up being just exactly what I needed. The space was so peaceful and had so much to offer, the yoga was so enjoyable, the food was delicious, and the small group of women were wonderful. I loved swimming and basking in the sun, napping in the palapas, reading by lantern in my tent, attending workshops that were so valuable and spoke to me, oh, and wine to go with it all. Shannon put together the perfect balance of activities and rest and always allowed me feel that it was my retreat to do or not do at any given moment what I needed for myself. She is such a genuine, warm, knowledgeable, compassionate being and I feel so blessed to have met her. Shannon, thank you for the experience of a lifetime! My husband and my children sent me to Destin, FL to your (May) retreat as a Mother's Day present. It was way out of my comfort zone. The key word amongst the ladies became "Reset". That is a wonderful way to describe the physical and emotional benefit I received from the time spent with you and the amazing women that you attract through your practice. Just like a computer or a cell phone, that needs to be rebooted/reset, to receive information and work properly, your retreat provided that in a relaxed, unintrusive way. I made new friends and wake up everday with a new found energy to approach the tasks that I was finding to be overwhelming prior to meeting you. The accomodations and the location were perfect. It is clear that you have given thought to every detail. I loved that we had time to relax on the beach and that having a glass of wine with new friends is a universal pleasure.
