When I have had acute instances of back and neck pain, Dr. Dan's treatments have always helped me recover significantly faster than when I don't treat with him (due to time or money, depending on the time in my life). Although, to be fair to her review, my pain treatments in the past have not been due to traumatic injury - more like forgetting that I can't do at 43 what I could at 20. Or 30 for that matter. Or....35. I digress. My only "criticism" of Dr Dan's office is that his hours are difficult to me to schedule to. HOWEVER, when I communicate well with him, he tries incredibly hard to accommodate me. Earlier this evening my son said out of blue I think Dr Dan fixed the issue because I'm not feeling the pain no more! So about 8pm I followed up with my son to see how he felt and he said "Dr Dan got it" then we chanted DR DAN IS THE MAN a couple times. He's good with adults and kids, talks to him and not just me. Nearly a year later, the office attempted to charge my debit card without warning or authorization from me. The billing practices and lack of transparency felt extremely misleading. I would strongly recommend verifying everything directly with your insurance and being very cautious before providing card information here. I am currently attempting to resolve this directly and would be happy to update this review if the matter is handled appropriately and transparently. update: Dr Whitney has reached out to make things right, which I very much appreciate. He is a great doctor and don't believe he takes care of any of the billing. I would stand by the fact that you definitely should double and triple check with your insurance before doing any x-rays or treatments though, as he is ultimately not the one that habdles billing for those.
