The Lodge was unique in a way because they had built an outside patio with fire pits and extensive seating for groups. It was a great meeting spot for friends to grab a burger and beer. The drinks would be provided by Northern Pine Brewing, and the food menu would be provided by the Lodge. I like that there was ample parking in the lot, which was shared by the entire shopping plaza. The interior was also very spacious and had a very "wooden themed motif". I like their portion sizes and I remember liking my bison burger and my beer battered cheese. Overall, this was a good spot, but I guess it didn't get enough publicity, and they soon shut down.

The entire facility was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. We had dinner at A.R. Valentien, where our waiter, Ryan, and the entire staff were attentive, welcoming, and provided outstanding service. The food was absolutely delicious, light, fresh, and beautifully prepared. We also enjoyed breakfast at The Grill. My 9-year-old son absolutely loved the pancakes, while my husband and I both ordered omelets that were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Every meal we had was excellent. One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing by the pool and enjoying the gorgeous views. The hotel also made the Fourth of July extra special for families by hosting a fun celebration with crafts, cookies and lemonade, cookie decorating, and kites for the kids to fly. Our son had the best time, and we loved the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The valet staff were also wonderful: friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. This was truly a memorable stay, and we can't wait to return next year. If you're looking for a beautiful hotel with exceptional service, delicious dining, and a welcoming family atmosphere, we highly recommend staying here!

The manager Isabel went above and beyond to make me feel special and I truly did. All the staff were so kind from the moment we walked in and made us feel right at home. Shortly after getting to our room, Isabel sent a charcuterie board, chips with salsa and guac, and a sparkling non alcoholic cider to the room with a very sweet note. It was incredibly thoughtful and so appreciated. After that we all had a very relaxing time at the spa, and I had a great prenatal massage. As we were leaving the spa they gave me a little goodie bag as a congratulations which made my heart melt. The rooms were so cozy and clean and the beds were very comfy. We all woke up refreshed the next day and some of us even made it to yoga! I am so grateful to have had my babymoon here and grateful to Isabel for truly making it an experience I'll never forget. We loved it so much my friend bought my baby a little Lodge at Torrey Pines onesie from the gift shop! I have since had my baby and every time she wears it, it reminds me of our great weekend at the lodge. I now recommend staying here to all of our friends. Then, without me even asking, he asked what I had been drinking and went and got me a brand-new glass of sangria to replace it. When I thanked him, he simply said, "My pleasure," and you could tell he truly meant it. He genuinely seems to enjoy what he does and taking care of guests. That kind of service really stands out and made an already great event even more memorable. Great job, Europa, and a special thank you to Philip!

Nice balcony, and actually saw a hot air balloon land in the nearby parking lot! Pool area was decent with lots of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. In fact, if I were to design a vacation family home I would use this floor plane almost exactly! The bedrooms were nicely placed and each had their own full bathrooms. The primary suite had a bathtub and a twin trundle bed which met our family's need for our family with 2 young children. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were adjacent to the primary and had their own full baths with showers. Each of those bedrooms had Queen sized beds, which I must admit I hope the owner will consider changing at least the middle bedroom (plenty of space to do do) to a King sized bed. The 3rd bedroom might be tight but I would rather have a King sized bed and no night stand (personal preference). Also, the main area noise does carry straight back to the middle bedroom so place your heaviest sleepers in there! A door between the kitchen and the bedrooms would really help that but that would not stop me from renting this lovely home again! Main area and kitchen were nicely appointed and super comfortable. Fireplace worked beautifully! Games were stocked under the bar area. In warmer weather sliding doors could be opened for a huge open entertainment flow. We made breakfasts and lunches no dinners but the kitchen had everything you would need for meal prep( bring extras like foil and spices). Moving downstairs. We had a 2 year old so a door or baby gate up top would be recommended. I was surprised the downstairs floor was concrete. It does show that when I looked back at the photos but I just hadn't noticed. They do have a rug under the sofa/tv area and a fireplace. The area was really completely self contained and perfect for one of our families. Again, a King sized bed would be appreciated in the main bedroom and as the listing stated you HAVE TO ENTER THE 5TH BEDROOM THROUGH THE 4TH BEDROOM. This was perfect for our family with kids but would be a little odd if another couple were staying there. It is a bunkroom so I feel like it would only be used for families with kids so it was perfect! Both these bedrooms had no windows so they were great for sleeping in! Also, the downstairs had it's own heating system so you could completely control the downstairs temp which is not always the case. Big bonus! WIFI was slow when using our devices but the TV did not ever buffer while watching. Downstairs access right out to the firepit which we used to make Smores was perfect. House was SUPER clean upon arrival! I swept up the crumbs we produced after the first day then mopped the upstairs main area (neat freak) and the mop cover did not get full of dirt indicating the floor had been previously cleaned very well! Uber impressed! They do have you remove your trash to containers on property prior to check out but that was understandable and not a problem. Plenty of hot water. Water pressure good. House was not preheated upon arrival but warmed up super fast one HVAC was turned on. Jacuzzi was preheated upon our arrival so no waiting for it to heat. Lots of towels both bath and jacuzzi. This house is remote as stated. Down the end of a paved road. Gate to unlock (maybe install a motion activated light so we could read the lock at night) and then down a dirt road at lease a mile I would say. I personally LOVED the quiet. Someone else might be a bit uncomfortable with that. We left during a rain storm and the dirt road seemed fine. I don't know if that would be a problem had it rained many days or heavier. There are cameras at the entry gate to the property and someone does come EVERY time you leave and make certain the gate is locked. This was a comfort to me as someone is making certain only our party entered. The outdoor front patio could have been cleaner (dirt and leaves blown) but to be fair it was Fall and you are in the wilderness. Plenty of outdoor parking behind house. House is about 20 minutes from Old Town where we dined every night when not attending wedding festivities 5 minutes away at Galway Downs. I would highly recommend this property. Great get seated after 2 big parties. Also in a booth in the bar area. Very nice booth. We were sat without menus first. Luckily a nice bartender I assume gave us menus. Nobody came for at least 5 minutes as we decided on drinks and all are food. Finally got a server, ordered everything because we were ready. An appetizer, a salad, and paella. To share and each a cocktail. Sooooo the appetizer comes. And we're waiting a few and then a few turns into 10 minutes. We are almost done with our appetizer. No server in sight I look over to the bar no drinks. So I go up to the Hose stand to ask where our drinks are it appears there might've been a manager there, but they ran away. The host said where are you pointed at our table. Got our server. She came over to let us know that they were waiting on juice. We now have our second course and luckily our drink. I probably would've ordered another cocktail, but it was already 25 minutes into our meal. So I did order finally a glass of wine. To go with our paella. We had a tomato salad with that was lacking in flavor and very underwhelming. The paella comes we have the seafood one. It is hot. It is also overcooked, and I saw no calamari and we had very little seafood. I would say this was not the best paella I have had. Which is unfortunate as my friend kept saying this is the best she ever had when she had been there before. I asked her if she ever had been to café Seville. Where they have what I consider the best paella. But this is also Temecula so I really don't expect much from this area. They were very busy so maybe I just had a bad moment and I hope that that is true and everyone else has a great experience there.
