We literally can't wait to come back. Read on for details... It's a spacious, quiet, comfortable, luxurious two bedroom single story condo with plenty of outdoor space (gated front yard, side yard and gorgeous back yard). The 100% private spa and pool are the highlight, especially considering so many public pools are still closed for COVID. I think I spent a full 8 hours in the water on Sunday?? Given its location and landscaping, part of the pool is always shaded, which is perfect for us fair-skinned gingers. Ginny manages the place and she is a delight. Very personable and friendly. My only notes: -The AC is a wee bit loud. If you're a super light sleeper, bring ear plugs. -No black out curtains. If you need full darkness to sleep in, bring an eye mask. -Linens are typical. Kind of starchy. If you need super soft sheets, bring them with you. (Can you tell one of us has particular sleep needs? ) Final note: this is not a party palace. This IS the perfect spot for a couple or family to come and unwind in a private, safe space.

All of the beds are SO comfortable, our guests were super comfy and rooms/property were clean upon arrival. The host was so helpful with our entire wedding weekend and was available in case things went wrong. We had a breaker go out upstairs while all the bridal party was getting ready that was fixed within the hour. The toilets did get backed up a few times over the weekend, some were able to be fixed while others became unusable but overall we had enough for the wedding event. Just a note since the house is older, I guess this happens often there. The property fit our 100 guest wedding perfectly. We also had 40 guest stay on site and everyone fit with plenty of room. The main house is huge and the parlor room and theater are awesome! We did our ceremony in the backyard our reception down on the big deck in the backyard. We brought outside vendors for all our chairs but the host had round tables and an ice machine available for us which was amazing!! (Photos below of round tables). We also had vendors come for catering without any issues. You do need to get event insurance if you book for a wedding but that's standard practice. All in all, we had a great weekend and it was so nice having our guest stay on site with us. The host was super nice and helpful and we'd recommend booking here!

Within two months so much had changed that these other reviews i see don't even come close to the experience i had! this was one of the most beautiful venues i have worked at. The space provides a really familial vibe for the party & it was so much fun. Everything was clean, organized, and things were easy to find. The property manager is on site and responded very quickly. He checked in on the event several times. He was always keeping up with client requests prior to the wedding and always had a smile on his face. I definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for a very "homey" feel to your wedding experience.

Fresh flowers and herbs litter the grounds. Rooms are just steps to the pool. breakfast was continental in nature and most enjoyed their food in the common area, as it feels like an oasis. Parking was right outside the building. There was a code for the door to the courtyard and a regular house key-type key for the room itself. The bed and linens were incredibly comfy and clean. However, the room was not as clean. The top of the shower was pretty dirty and there are calcium deposits on the shower heads. Additionally, the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors convos in and outside of their rooms. This is not a place to find privacy as all of the lower level rooms are mostly on display from the common areas. There are definitely maintenance issues to be addressed, such as: peeling ceiling paint in the restroom, no working bathroom fan, and a lack of any windows (other than the door) in the room. Couldn't get the overhead light to work so we relied on the lamps in the room. The mini fridge was a pretty decent size and we were actually able to stock a lot into it. There is a grill available for use and a small common kitchen area where you can help yourself to use of a microwave, tea kettle, dishes, and an ice machine. They even had tea bags available. All in all a quiets stay other than the loud landscaping the first morning of our two-night stay. Most other guest were respectful and quiet. Not many guest during the weekdays but it started to fill up by the weekend. Overall a lovely place to stay. I think it would be a wonderful place to host a smaller family reunion as the space lends to feeling like family with the other guests.

We stayed in the Junior Suite, and it was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. Right across the street is an antique and merchandise marketplace that's definitely worth visiting if you enjoy unique finds and vintage pieces. The hotel also has several restaurants onsite, which makes dining very convenient, though there are plenty of nearby restaurants within walking distance if you're looking for more affordable options. The pool area was nice, although a bit small considering how many guests the hotel accommodates. Still, the overall atmosphere and vibe of the property made up for it. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. One of the most fascinating parts of this hotel is the history surrounding it. I didn't personally get to see them, but there are said to be nearly 20 miles of catacombs beneath the hotel. Riverside itself has a deep and interesting past, and if you enjoy haunted history and spooky storytelling, this place adds another layer of intrigue. Many people say the hotel is haunted, so it's worth researching before your visit if that interests you. Also nearby is Mount Rubidoux, which is absolutely worth visiting for the views and history. If you enjoy local legends and historical stories, look into the history of the priest connected to the cross placed at the top of the mountain in remembrance. It adds even more character to the area. Overall, this is a beautiful historic destination with plenty to see, explore, and experience around Riverside.

I stayed at Korakia Pensione while attending a nearby conference…read more I'll be honest--I didn't do much research beforehand -- It's a really peaceful and unique spot, but there were definitely some quirks. What I Loved: Great location - It feels secluded but is still within walking distance of downtown and my conference. Breakfast & Coffee - Breakfast was included (and it's really good), plus they delivered coffee to the room every morning--huge win! Relaxing vibes - The whole place has a super chill, peaceful atmosphere. Even 7am yoga! Late check-out - They were nice enough to let me check out later, which I really appreciated. Nice views & pool - Beautiful scenery, and the pool was a great spot to unwind. Room placement luck - The hotel has two sections (across the street from each other) Thankfully, I got a room near the lobbish area and breakfast area, which made things easier. What Could Be Better: Thin walls - Could definitely hear my neighbors, which wasn't ideal. No TV - Not a huge deal for me, but something to know before booking. Missing vinyl records - The room was supposed to have a vinyl record player, but there were no records. Kinda disappointing. Limited after-hours access - There's no 24-hour lobby, and I had an emergency the night I arrived. Thankfully, they called me ahead of time and left my key with security, but still, a little inconvenient. Key confusion - No one told me my room key also worked for the gate. One night, security wasn't around, and I thought got locked out. Had to call the emergency line, which made me feel bad--pretty sure I woke someone up just to find out I already had the key. Overall Thoughts: Korakia is a beautiful, quiet escape with some great perks like breakfast, coffee service, and a pool. Just be aware of the thin walls, lack of a TV, and the limited lobby hours if those things matter to you. If you're looking for a relaxing, off-the-grid stay, it's a solid choice--just know what you're getting into!

There are multiple pool and restaurants and "joins" with their sister property, Ingleside Estate. Each area has its own unique atmosphere. There's more of social pool with the restaurant. There's a more relaxing pool by the spa, and a family pool to the north. The room was beautiful! We got a nice room with a balcony overlooking the pool, the night time view was pretty that had the overhanging lights over it as well. The bed was very comfortable and had some of our favorite soft and fluffy kind of pillows. Main negative room was the shower, it didn't have a glass door and the faucets were fairly old school. We dined at chi chis during our stay a few times and the food was pretty solid. I would say the main negative is that it's a little pricey plus they add a 5% wellness fee on all orders. The service in general wherever we went helpful and friendly though so it did help! We did enjoy our stay here overall, but I think you may potentially find better value elsewhere.

There are a few different pools, an adult, quiet, and family pool which are all very small but each has plenty of seating both shaded and non. The poolside service is a standout, we enjoyed breakfast and lunch by the pool, staff were super attentive and friendly and all of our meals, prepared at Chi Chi's (the hotel restaurant) were delicious - they have their own 5 star review. The gym is small, but offers a range of equipment, it was air conditioned, clean, and accesible 24/7. Pros: The rooms are updated, chic, and match the Palm Springs vibe. Free parking near hotel rooms. Hotel is located in downtown Palm Springs, close to tons of shops, restaurants, and the airport. Quiet/relaxing, & clean. Cons: The pillows were all extremely hard, the shower does not have a door so water will spill over onto the floor, there were no full length mirrors in the room, they are only located in the bathroom, which does not allow for multiple people to get ready at one time. There was also no dresser which made unpacking impossible for 3 girls in a room. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but are unsure if we would return in the future or opt for another hotel. I'd say this is a contender for a romantic getaway, girls trip, or someone looking for a quiet getaway in the Palm Springs area.
