And I've been to many many salons in downtown. Price is reasonable. The salon itself is very clean and modern, with good lighting and lots of natural light which I find is important for color jobs. I'm surprised this place is not well known yet. Maybe it's recently opened. I had no problem booking appointments unlike some of the overrated salons in downtown. They also really take the time and listen to you and pay full attention to you. Overall, I was very happy with the service and the cut that I received. I got there on time but I was told that there is a delay, and would be another 15 min wait, I didn't mind, and waited. 15 min later, the receptionist came to me again and apologized bc it would be a further 15 min or so, i then found out that one of their hair dressers got sick and could not work, so it was understandable. I was undecided about what i wanted, i had wanted a change, but was nervous about too drastic of a change at the same time. I consulted Chloe, and she could understand my concern, so she suggested that I keep the lenghth, and she was going to layer my fine hair to give it some volume, and give me some side bangs to frame my face. By the time she got to me, she was the only stylist working at that time, and there were already several customers waiting.. I was worried that she might just rush through me to get to the other customers, but to my surprise, she didn't do that, she not only cut and layered my hair carefully, paying attention to detail the entire time, she even styled my hair nicely to give it a great finished look. I didn't want to drive to Vancouver and so I went on online and found Splash. Nikki did a good job with my hair. She made some slight adjustment to it and she explained to me why before she started.
