I've been here more times than I can count, and somehow it still feels like a great find every single time. The food is legit. That Dagwood wrap in the photo... stacked, fresh, and exactly what you want when you sit down and take a breath for a bit. Simple, done right. And the flights... always the move. They're thoughtfully crafted, and what really stands out is how much intention is behind everything they're doing. There's a creativity here that goes beyond just what's on the board. You can feel it in how the beers are built and how they're meant to be experienced. It gives you something a little different every time without ever feeling forced. But what really makes this place what it is... it's the feel. I'm not from here, and not once have I ever felt like an outsider. It's one of those places that just pulls you in. Standing only, all concrete in the hangar, one bar, lots of waiting. The bathrooms are cleanish and highly functional, no flushing issues, not disgusting, multiple women's stalls. For our concert, the venue set up a Coleman cooler of water and small free water cups by the entry, but they did not make an effort to refill the water jug, so we got quite dehydrated and unhappy halfway through. Liquid death cans and cups of ice can be purchased for about the same cost as alcohol at the bar. Nutrl was only $6 and change, I was thrilled! The sound quality was EXCEPTIONAL! Kudos and a half to Tuffy's for excellent balance and not blowing our eardrums. The light show, meh, too many dark blends, too moody and could barely see the band. When most lit up, I enjoyed seeing the stage. The place got very crowded, very quickly. They need crowd control and to not overpack concert goers like sardines. And, as I did not wish to wait another 20 min. for a refired order, I settled for the dish that was presented. We had driven 40+ mins. from Port Orange to celebrate my daughter's b-day, per her request, and were happy to do so. Still, some nagging details...incorrect order, smaller portions of Schnitz and spatzele (except for the red cabbage), and higher prices left the experience to be less than desired. The schnitzel was perfectly fried and tender. The potato pancakes crisp and delicious with applesauce and sour cream toppings! Gurkensalat, fresh slightly crunchy cucumbers in a light creamy dressing. Perfect summer salad! The Buffalo sandwich with pork instead of chicken was amazing! Cooked to tender perfection with just the right amount of buffalo sauce and heat. The grilled pretzel bun with cheese, lettuce and tomato was excellent. The fries were a great companion to the Buffalo sandwich. Red cabbage rounded out the meal adding both color and texture to the lunch. I come to this restaurant every time I visit Sanford as I love German food and the staff here is so friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend Hollerbach's German Restaurant for delicious German Food, great atmosphere and friendly service! Excelent Local Restaurant!
