Beware, the owner does not care about the quality of his products and will encourage you to buy…read morespoiled beer as opposed to dealing with the distributor as any person who cares about their product should. I bought a Delirium Noel case of four beers under recommendation of the owner for over 20 dollars. He made sure to emphasize that the yeast was alive in the beer (which is true with such Belgium beers). The fact that he was so adamant about the yeast made me suspicious. The taste was like vinegar, but knowing sometimes that strong Belgium beers can have different tastes I tried to enjoy it. I drank one and went to sleep. A few days later I got two out to celebrate a good job interview. My mom also noticed the strange taste and commented on it. She took a look at the box and noticed mold at the bottom of the box (I'll attach a photo). This is a massive sign of poor handling, storage, or simply old beer. My mother and I returned to the store with the last remaining unopened bottle with the box and showed the owner asking for an exchange. He again brought up the living yeast in the beer, even when looking straight at the mold on the bottom of the case. When I insisted on an exchange, he offered a fourth of the price of the pack, suggesting we simply consumed them and we should have brought the two open beers with us on the car ride. When I told him how ridiculous that would have been, still simply asking for an exchange he told me to go fuck myself and threatened to call the police on us. I strongly recommend against giving patronage to this store when the owner cares so little about the products he's a salesman of, and treating good customers with such disrespect to add insult to injury (I had within the last month spent over 110 dollars on scotch there). Look at the photos for yourself and decide if you'd like like to support such a 'business.'

We love this family-owned liquor store!…read more It's our neighborhood liquor store and we like that it's in the same strip center as our neighborhood Publix. We can walk to it right after picking up our groceries. We also love that they have fun tastings once per month with live music and lots of fun things to try. We've bought things from the tastings that we would've never tried before. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this place to everyone in Oviedo, especially in the Alafaya Woods subdivision (which is located directly behind the shopping center where GB Liquors is located).

And it's fun to navigate like you're in an expensive corn maze. If you're lucky and look for rare items, you may find something. I got lucky one day and found some Blanton's for sale as part of a "Package". Luckily, I enjoyed some of those additional items I normally wouldn't have purchased. They do have a rewards program so if you go here often, definitely join and you can earn points and save money on a future purchase. Every little bit helps these days. The staff is always great and helpful. They occasionally have samples of something available too. I think I tried a vodka one time and it tasted like vodka. Spot on! I'll stop in when I'm in the area. It's in the Publix plaza on the farthest end away from Alafaya.

I was talking to the cashier about different bourbons that were hard for me to find in North Carolina. He let me know that even though there was only two bottles of a particular bourbon on the shelf, he had more in the back. Store owners in North Carolina would never have admitted that. Great place to check out if you're looking for something special. Their prices our standard for a small liquor store like this type. The few times I have been here, I was the only customer at the time.

Total Wine & More is an absolute paradise for anyone who loves drinks (and honestly, who doesn't?)…read more I walked in and immediately felt like a kid in the world's best candy store -- except the candy is thousands of wines from every corner of the planet. Want a crisp Sancerre from the Loire Valley? Got it. Looking for a cult California Cab that's almost impossible to find? They've got multiple vintages on the shelf. Rare allocations, library wines, small-production gems -- somehow they have them all, and at prices that usually beat everyone else. The beer aisle is just ridiculous (in the best way). Huge craft beer selection, imports from Belgium, Germany, Japan, you name it, plus all the local favorites and seasonals. The spirits section is equally insane -- top-shelf bourbon, hard-to-find Japanese whisky, mezcal, rum, gin, you could spend an hour just staring at the options. And then there's the humidor. Beautiful walk-in with a terrific selection of premium cigars -- from everyday favorites to limited editions that made me do a double-take. The staff is genuinely knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. They'll happily geek out with you about natural wines or help you pick the perfect bottle for a gift in two minutes flat. If you love wine, beer, spirits, or cigars, this place is basically Disneyland. I always leave with way more than I planned (zero regrets). Total Wine & More has ruined me for regular liquor stores forever -- and I'm totally okay with that! I'm sorry, I was too busy perusing the extensive selection to take pictures, just go and see for yourself.

Colonial & Primrose St. There is a parking lot. It was busy this afternoon but it could be due to the holiday season. It's a big place, large selection & alright prices. We noticed a couple of places around the store where samples were being handed out. I've been searching for Ron Del Barrilito and they have it. They also carry the Dominican brand of Chinola (passion fruit) drink & can't wait to try it. They carry wines, roses, champagne, sparkling wine, liqueur, rum, whiskey, bourbon, tequila, vodka, beers, THC infused drinks, mocktails & ready made cocktails. They have it all. The employees are helpful. They don't point when you ask where something is, they walk you over. Overall nice experience & we will return.
