Cozy Atmosphere, Delicious Food, Outstanding Service! We split a Crab Cake Benedict, and it was absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh. The staff was fantastic, especially our server Aaron, and even served our order on two separate plates, making it easy to share. We also grabbed a Pineapple Upside-Down Muffin to go, which was just as delicious--sweet, moist, and full of flavor. On another visit, we had one of the best lattes ever at a great price, and bonus points for offering decaf! The café has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the service is always friendly and attentive. Mimi's Café in Victorville is a local gem we'll definitely return to!

It makes it difficult to exit when there's other people dining there and waiters moving around. Loved all of the cat decorations and how they kept the red theme going. It's quite dim, but personally that's preferable to it being extremely florescent and bright. Service: Johannes was very pleasant. Food: We came because we wanted to eat escargot. Our favorite French restaurant, Le Gourmet in Upland closed in 2024 or 2025 so we needed to find a new French place. The lamb loin in lingonberry sauce was wonderfully complex with the savory cheese complemented well by the sweet lingonberry. The escargot was perfect. The only caveat was that we tried the pastries of the day -- one was a puff pastry, forgetting the flavor/name and some kind of cake, maybe Napoleon? We did not care for the desserts at all, if I were to get another dessert I'd probably stick with the crème brulée. The bread and salty whipped butter were delicious, seemed house-made? The bread was slightly sweet and I had to hold myself back from gorging on it. Parking: Parked in a nearby garage for $20. I think there was an event going on.

We ordered the greatest hits: the Voil au Vent (scrumptious!), the rack of lamb with herbs, the French Onion Soup + bread service, and the special of the day which was swordfish served with capers and a white wine sauce, and a rosemary risotto. The food was excellent, as always: perfectly sized and seasoned portions, with high quality products worthy of the price point. The meats were perfectly cooked to medium, juicy and just the right balance of firmness and melt in your mouth softness. Incredible! We will be back again, and again, and again. Merci Le Chat Noir!

It's incredibly quaint, with just a handful of tables, which is part of its charm. I can also understand why some people mention waiting, even with a reservation. As a customer, I actually appreciated that we were never rushed or made to feel like we needed to leave. It made for such a relaxing dining experience, even if it occasionally puts the next reservation a little behind. We sampled quite a bit of the menu--the mushroom risotto, short rib, carpaccio crudo, lamb, pork belly, shrimp, lobster bisque, French onion soup, and the watermelon salad. Everything was delicious overall. My favorite was, hands down, the watermelon salad--so refreshing with incredible flavor combinations. The lobster bisque was delicious and may have even edged out the French onion soup but the flaky puff pastry on the French onion was perfect for dipping into the yummy broth. The only dish that fell a little short for me was the shrimp, which I felt could have used a bit more seasoning. The servers were wonderful, the atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and I'd absolutely recommend giving The Wild Artichoke a try. It's a special little spot and a true gem for the area.

First of all, the service was absolutely horrible: our waiter was very rude for whatever reason and didn't really care much about us. Food: I liked their pork belly lettuce wraps and escargot, but the main course (he had uni pasta and steak frites) was not tasting good at all. I would say 4 out of 10 for the main course. They have good desserts though. So, overall I would not recommend going there, especially for the amount of money you spend, you can find much nicer places for dinner.

Very small restaurant so highly recommend getting a reservation. We tried many items from the menu. I really liked the steak tartare which tasted of truffle and loved that they had different things to add on top as well. It was really good steak and not at all chewy. The soup du jour was a creamy caramelized onion soup which was decadent and so good. For my entree I got the seafood pot which I liked but wasn't obsessed with. The curry was very thin and the seafood felt a bit overcooked for me. But the taste was good, just wish the curry was a thicker paste than a liquid soup texture. My family all loved their entrees and said the quality of their various steak dishes was remarkable. The waitress was so kind as well. Would love to come back next time I'm in town!

I started my meal with a craft beer and a half order of the Grilled Caesar. I also was fortunate to have the opportunity to try the steak Tartare. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and well-crafted with fresh ingredients, and it made for an overall great meal. The ambience is cozy and the staff is also attentive. It's no wonder Stone Creek Bistro is so popular! I'll def be back the next time I'm in Arrowhead.

Like true Parisian style, you'll need to make a reservation because seating is limited and this spot is quite popular. My boyfriend and I were very fortunate they had a table available when we visited (we didn't know it was reservations-only) but the staff kindly seated us. Next time, I'll definitely call ahead. Right away, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming mother-daughter duo. They patiently walked us through the menu and shared the specials of the day. The chef himself came out to say hello and even took the time to explain a few items we were curious about. Soft French music plays in the background, creating such a calm, inviting atmosphere. *Plain Croissant: A perfect classic. Flaky on the outside, soft on the inside; it's exactly what you'd want from a traditional croissant. I'd come back just for their pastries alone, though this time I was excited to try their savory breakfast items. *Croque Monsieur: Absolutely delicious and wonderfully authentic. I ordered it with ham in the traditional style, and it came with creamy béchamel and melted cheese layered perfectly on top. The portion was generous and satisfying. You can add an egg to turn it into a Croque Madame. This came with a Provençal tomato and a potato pavé on the side, both of which were flavorful and beautifully prepared. The pavé, with its delicate layers, was such a standout. I haven't seen these sides offered at other French restaurants in the U.S., and I'd honestly return just for them. *Machaca Frances: My boyfriend ordered this dish, and it was such a pleasant surprise as a creative, well-executed blend of flavors. The short rib was incredibly tender, paired with potatoes, caramelized onions, and more, all wrapped up in a soft tortilla. The fresh pico, sauce, and avocado on top tied it all together perfectly. When my boyfriend mentioned he was eyeing this dish, the chef smiled and said the machaca filling was similar to beef bourguignon, and he was right! It had that same rich, deep, savory flavor. If they ever have actual beef bourguignon on the menu, I'd order it in a heartbeat based on how good this was. *Side salad: This had fresh greens, carrots, and caramelized onions, with oven-roasted tomatoes, and more, drizzled in a rich balsamic reduction. You could tell a lot of effort went into even the salad, and it tied the dishes together beautifully. This café really reminded me of France, which I miss so much. The space is clean, the atmosphere is warm, and you can tell the staff knows their regulars well. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in. Spots like this are rare for both atmosphere and traditional French cuisine, especially around here, which makes Café La Reve feel even more special. I'm already planning my next visit to try their sweet breakfast options and maybe a lunch entrée. I saw in another review that they also offer dinner on Fridays by reservation, something I'm excited to experience soon. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and hospitality. Café La Reve is a true gem, and I can't wait to come back.

This was my friends' and my first time at a French restaurant, so we were really excited to try something new. And honestly, the food was phenomenal! I tried escargot for the first time, and hands down, it ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the night! It was so good. I also ordered the mushroom soup, which was full of flavor and delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the swordfish, which came with puréed carrots and fresh-cut zucchini that was lightly stir-fried. The swordfish was a little drier than I expected, and I found myself adding salt throughout the meal, but overall, it was still a good dish. They also surprised me with a cheesecake for my birthday, which was such a sweet gesture! And that cheesecake was SO good...smooth, creamy, and the perfect little birthday treat. The décor is pretty minimal, but I actually liked that about it. It feels more like a beautiful, comfortable home than an overly decorated restaurant, which made the experience feel cozy. The service was also attentive and friendly. Our server was Natalia (I'm so sorry if I'm spelling her name wrong!), and she was very kind and sweet. We were happy with her service. The one downside was definitely the wait time for the food. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and we were seated right away, but dinner moved pretty slowly. Our timeline: * 5:30 -- Seated * 6:14 -- Escargot arrived * 6:30 -- Soup arrived * 7:00 -- Entrée arrived * 7:45 -- We left So just be prepared for this to be a long dinner experience. If you're looking for a quick meal, this probably isn't the place. But if you're okay taking your time, enjoying the atmosphere, and letting the meal unfold, I think it's worth experiencing. The atmosphere is so elegant and relaxing in the dining room, with wonderful views of native oaks. My trout almondine was perfectly cooked and the green salad was well-seasoned.
