I've had great and terrible experiences with the sales women here. The first time I went in I got a bra that fit for the first time in my life. The second time I told the lady what size I currently wore (sized from their store) and she handed me a bra that was extremely undersized. (3 cups cizes smaller than what I told her!). This last visit was complicated. I was sized and got one bra that fit amazingly well. I wore the second bra around for the first time a few days ago and found the straps constantly slipping off. This is easily a $150 bra. For that money I expect it to fit or be exchanged. However, when I called and explained it to the lady she suggested I come in and buy some additional item to keep the straps from slipping. I was very disappointed in the return/satisfaction policy and even though their bras are amazing, I'd rather go through the pain of ordering and resizing myself through the internet with a good return policy than pay another exorbitant price for a bra that does not stay put. read more

If I could, I would give this place MINUS 5 stars. My wife was literally just accosted by the owner of this "establishment." Her daughter was told to "get her skinny white ass" out of the parking space in front of the store (no signage indicating reserved spaces) and both of them were about to shop there! Unbelievable. My mother saw a commercial for this business and wanted to check them out. Weeks had past before we actually decided to check them out. She thought the business was by the Sprint store and CosmoPro but it's acutally behind CVS in the back of the strip mall in National Hills. But we did find it with no problem.You can't miss it once you turn behind the CVS. It will be directly in front of you. The boutique is small and filled with nice things. They sell clothing as well as undergarments for ladies, even handbags and accessories. Me and my mother wanted to go in and get fitted for a bra. I have been fitted before and wanted to see what size I currently was. We were greeted immediately and the saleswoman asked were we there for bra fittings and we said, "Yes!" She directed us right into the dressing room and gave us instructions to make the fitting go smoothly. She measured us perfectly and brought in options to try on. They were beautifully made and well fitting bras. The bras she did bring in started at about $50 a bra. That's kind of expensive but a bra is an investment and should fit properly. The fitting didn't take long at all. The saleswoman was very knowledgable and knew exactly what she was talking about. Experts say that 80% of women wear the wrong size bra. The process was painless and I think ever woman should at least have one bra fitting in their life. It will make a difference in how your clothes look and feel. The bra I purchased actually makes me look slimmer and I feel a whole lot better about the way my clothes look on me. This was a great experience and I will continue to shop here. read more

I went in with a friend of mine to look for a bustier to wear under my wedding dress. When one of the women asked what I needed, I told her "I need undergarments for my wedding dress." She repeated the question and asked where I got my dress. I told her next door at elegant bridals. She asked, "What, they don't have anything over there?" I said, "No ma'am their cup size was too small and I needed an extender." I'm wondering why she asked that. Wouldn't she rather have business instead of losing it to next door? She asked again while waving her arms in exasperation, "So what's the dress look like? What do you need?" At this point I started to get annoyed and told her, "Like a bustier I guess? I don't know I've never owned a wedding dress before!" She said, "Okay you'll probably need a 52 H (a huge overestimation, I am a 44 DDD). Let me look in the back." I said, "Okay thank you." She yelled from the back, "We ain't got none." I said "Thank you for your time" and left. For a store that prides themselves on having up to a size K, I'd think they'd at least have a DDD. I walked in and the sales clerk was sitting in a chair by the counter. She yelled across the store, "What are you looking for?" I said I wanted a new bra. Then she just sat there. Staring at me. Didn't move, didn't get up and walk over, didn't ask me any further questions. The worst and most awkward experience I've ever had in store in my life. I had a great experience. When you get past the kinda rude ladies here, they do know what they are doing. Yes, they want to sell you a bra, but the price is totally worth it. I've bought 4 bras here in the past year and have been pleased with all of them. The ladies there will tell you that you need to treat these undergarments with kid gloves as they are European and require hand--not machine--washing. I didn't buy undies there as I feel my bras are more important. I like them for what they have to offer--for me with a large size--the basic colors--no leopard or cute styles--but great sexy/support bras nonetheless. read more

Incredibly unhelpful. I was looking for a bathing suit that fits me, I am on the smaller side of what they advertise as large bust sizes, and they didn't even have my size. She didn't even offer to help me look for a suit in my size. They were also incredibly rude. One of the clerks stared at me and commented that I looked bigger than the size I said I was and in turn made me feel incredibly self conscious. I can only imagine how they treat their customers who are larger sizes or overweight. I will never come here again. I went there today for the first time. After visiting another "bra" boutique in Aiken years ago, i wondered if I might get the same treatment. Well sure enough I did. The saleswoman was nice at first but then clearly became put off when I didn't like everything she brought me. I ended up buying 2 bras. At the checkout she opened 3 bottles of wash & asked me which one I wanted. Not if I wanted to purchase 1. Yes my bra was old, but I didn't deserve to be belittled, which I felt I was. I purchased a $60 plus bra and less than a 6 months, the lace ripped in the front. And in another month, the bra hooks broke. The women there are rude! I guess i'll have to go back to getting the cheap bras online that last alot longer! read more

This was my first bra fitting and I was very disappointed! The short sales associate quickly measured me and then gave me ONE bra to try on ($68). I told her that it was EXTREMELY tight and I also requested nipple concealers. She insisted it was the right size and she did not give me another style or size to try on. Then she tried to sell me matching panties that were too small also ($30). They are NOT the "bra fitting specialists" as advertised. read more

I should have read reviews on Mimi's before visiting, but all the advertising in the CSRA made me feel like it was just the right place to go to be fitted for nursing bras. In the last few years, I have realized the importance of a regular bra fitting, so every time I need new ones, I get a "check-up." However, the last time I nursed was before my revelation and I just bought whatever bras were on sale or felt kind of comfortable. I wasn't going to need them again for quite some time... but I want to do it right this time around. Since I have been fitted several times, I knew what to expect... but I was not thrilled about my experience. The sales lady may have been "very knowledgeable" or "knew what she was talking about" but I could not have gathered that from the very few words she spoke to me. She simply took a measuring tape around my rib cage and walked out of the dressing room. When she brought back a $66 lacy nursing bra that was a cup size SMALLER than my pre-pregnancy size*, I was hesitant to even put it on. She didn't even give me time to object to the bra before she walked out, so I put it on anyway. Not only was I popping out, but it was tight around my ribcage as well. The bra did not fit me at all, but she INSISTED it looked great, pressuring me to put on my shirt over it. You could literally see where I was popping out, and I mentioned the overly padded form seemed a little "pointy" for what I was used to... Not only was she pushy, but she tried to correct me several times. Working in marketing, I know the customer is NOT always right, but I also know when they ARE. If I thought the bra was pointy, then it wasn't right. She never suggested for me to try on different styles; I had to ask for them. When I did, she never responded, just walked out the door and came back with one. NOT ANY 2 OF THE BRAS WERE THE SAME SIZE. My pre-pregnancy size was a 32DD, and the first bra she brought me was a 34D. The second bra was a 36E and the next was a 36H. When I tried to ask her about the 36E fitting better around the rib cage but that it was a little saggy in the cups, she said, "Oh, well you'll grow into this one!" It was confusing to me that she thought I "looked great" in one that was clearly too small for me, but also suggested I purchase one I would "grow into." I do know how breasts fluctuate during nursing, but certainly not that much, and if that was the case, there was no way I'd ever fit into the very first one she brought me. It's possible she just was not as experienced in nursing bras as in general sizing, but I was very disappointed. I literally walked out of the dressing room and just said, "I'm sorry, but I have to leave. I might come back another time," being hopeful she might have been in a bad mood. Since then, I've reconsidered. I don't think it will be worth it. Additionally, not only are the products expensive, but nothing is returnable OR exchangeable. They say it's "because of the nature of their business" but that should be the #1 reason things should be with a small window of opportunity... too many women unknowingly make bad decisions about bras, and need proper help/opportunity to make it right. *Note: they recommend you be sized no earlier than 3 weeks before your due date, which was right when I went to be sized. read more

I went to Mimi's on the recommendation of a friend and that recommendation was spot on. My sales associate was Regina and what a gem. I received first class customer service from the minute I walked in the door until I walked out the door with my purchases. Regina was very informative about the stock in her store and was very patient while I tried on and made my selections. I highly recommend this store to any woman who is looking for undergarments that are both highly functional and very, very sexy. read more
