The owner showed ZERO compassion and empathy towards what was done to my baby. She even tried to blame me and the "Miami heat" for the what they did. They cut the padding on 2 paws on my dog's front and back paw (see pics) and the inside the toe beans was all red and inflamed, then the bows placed on her ears where so tight it caused redness and matting (see pics) which then I had chop off a lot of hair to safely remove the bows off her ears even then she doesn't let me touch her ears at all! then checking her ears on the inside she had a scratch on the of my ear. I took her to the vet immediately and contacted the groomers via IG with pics since it was they were closed on Sundays, The vet told me to put paw wax and buy some shoes so her paws don't get an infection due to this groomers negligence. No reply from the groomers I called the groomers Monday morning and the owner was like let go look at the pics u sent and I'll cal u back... she never called me back... Her daughter DM me on IG (see reply) but no phone call as promised . So called again on Tuesday and the owner was like I'll give u a full refund but I can't compensate for anything else since she said it was the "Miami heat" that caused the paw problem. You probably wondering why complain you got refunded because NEED TO KNOW NOT TO BRING UR PETS HERE EVER... the owner and her daughter 1 was Like it was the "Miami heat" that caused her paws to get cut ( my dog is an indoor dog rarely goes outside) then the daughter sent me a dm (see pic) that says she left my dog in a cage and that my dog was pawing to get out mind you i dropped her off at 750am on 12/16 and they texted me at 1220pm to pick her up? When does grooming take this long?! I should have known red flag number one Then red flag number 2 The hair cut was horrible! I specifically told the owner at drop off don't cut her hair ears or the top because i want to let it grown out (see pics) its All uneven on the ears all over her body u can see where they shaved her hair very low. I brush my dog on the regular and she didn't have any matting all over her body! I told her she had a small matting in her tail and if she could brush it out to just leave it be because I'm letting her hair grow out. They didn't listen to me they did what they wanted. Even today 12/23 when I got the refund the owner showed zero empathy to what was done by her daughter. Never asked me if my dog was ok nothing even not even I'm sorry this happened. So this is just a warning don't go to this groomer in Miami

After looking for a mobile groomer online, I booked the Barking Lounge because of the Google reviews. I called and requested a kind patient groomer for my service dog in training. The girl on the phone assured me that the groomer coming to my home was experienced, very kind and patient with animals. Upon meeting the groomer, I explained to him that my puppy is a service dog in training and under no circumstances should his temperament be tampered with, as he is my medical equipment. I asked him to please stop the grooming, if at any point my dog showed signs of stress and discomfort. I was hoping for a stress- free, fun loving, and safe environment for my pup... like the company advertises. The groomer ignored my request. My pup is trained via Positive Reinforcement methods. He is not accustomed to cooperating with people who use force, fear, yelling, and intimidation. When he gave me my shaved down pup back, which I did not request. He told me my dog was crazy, disobedient, and I should give my service dog anxiety pills or Benadryl to calm him down. Seems like it's the other way around... Negative energy attracts negative energy, so if your dog is feeling the bad energy from a person, their behavior is going to reflect that bad energy. I requested my sister's Yorkie groomed with a round face and my Cairn Terrier cut short with a round face and carrot tail. The groomer said "okay" with enthusiasm--but had headphones in the entire conversation, which should've been my first red flag. The grooming: Both dogs came back over-shaved with no texture to work with. The Yorkie lost the length needed for the ponytail she usually wears. The Cairn Terrier's face was shaved bare--whiskers, beard, all gone. Only one of his four paws was properly shaped; the other three were unfinished. Hair is patchy and uneven across his body. Their response: A week later, I contacted them about the poor quality. Instead of apologizing or offering a redo, they cited a 24-hour complaint policy not mentioned until this time.
