I went in here for the first time the other day. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a…read morebutcher in there. I ended up purchasing some meat while I was in there. It is not the biggest store in the world but they did have a deli counter as well and it was pretty busy as I walked in and looked around. Everything seemed to be pretty clean inside and I am sure I will stop back in and check out what they have to offer in their meat department again. The cashier was friendly and got me checked out quickly. There was also plenty of parking in front of the store.

They carry just about anything you need. I was in early on Saturday and the store was not crowded. Groceries are well organized and shelves neat. The check out clerk was friendly and eager to assist. They are beautiful stores that are well kept up, the staff is excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Obviously, the stores are nowhere near as big as the supermarkets, however, they do provide a nice selection of items. Obviously not as broad of a selection, but they certainly have everything you would need from a market. I like coming here to get vegetables and fruit, as well as when I just need to grab a few things on the way home. Prices are similar to other markets, and for the atmosphere, which never feels crowded, is a great choice.

We ordered in the morning and up until nearly 7 PM did not have much understanding of what was going on and frankly still don't. Because of the 3rd party w/o going into detail seems to have a great deal of power here, Steve spent a long day talking to a very frustrated, not pleased me in trying to understand what was going and, what wasn't. I want to reiterate that this was in no manner the fault of the Walmart Store, Management, or Employees. This is all a problem with the 3rd party upper Management has employed for delivery. Steve had offered to have my groceries delivered by, Steve. The Store Manager. I declined as this is not his responsibility. We continued to try to resolve the matter by making the responsible party perform their job to no avail. In my last conversation with Steve (Store Manager) that his Assistant Manager, Robert, was on his way to my home with needed food items. While waiting Steve continued to be calm (I have my moments but I try) as Steve was so patient. I'm usually fairly nice but was seriously stressed. Steve wished me a Happy Thanksgiving, was very calm, very professional, very courteous. I finally stopped talking and we hung up and a few minutes later, Robert was in front of the house. Robert (Assistant Manager) brought the groceries to my door and would not accept any gratuity. I could only thank him and compliment him at 1-800-WALMART and, by writing this long-winded review which is part of my problem kind like, diarrhea. I called in advance of coming to Kroger @ New Castle to purchase tickets to the Beach Boys concert on 8/5 at Conner Prairie! I was told that the advanced sale tickets were $29 each. When I came into the store I was told that the $29 tickets were not available for the August 5 concert by the Beach Boys. It was printed on the tickets!. I can only guess that the person that spoke to me on the phone did not know how to read! This is certainly not up to Kroger's standards!

My little car took $42.01 filled up. I was told by Kroger it should go back on my card in 24 hours. Will it be returned to my card on a Saturday!?!!?!! Who knows, but if you use your debit card at the pump expect a hold on your card. I don't need that money for anything today but what if I did!!...It's just to bad i guess.!
