They carry a great selection of local (Indiana) produced items such as craft beer, jams and jellies and locally roasted coffee. They have a meat counter with a good selection. They carry just about anything you need. I was in early on Saturday and the store was not crowded. Groceries are well organized and shelves neat. The check out clerk was friendly and eager to assist. Plenty of parking and easy in and out.

They had everything we needed and more, and we barely skipped a beat from our camping trip.

Meijer, get your ish together. It was 8am on a Sunday. They said I could go into the store and break it and come back. Well, can't you just ask for change from the cash window then? Yes, yes you can. They are beautiful stores that are well kept up, the staff is excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Obviously, the stores are nowhere near as big as the supermarkets, however, they do provide a nice selection of items. Obviously not as broad of a selection, but they certainly have everything you would need from a market. I like coming here to get vegetables and fruit, as well as when I just need to grab a few things on the way home. Prices are similar to other markets, and for the atmosphere, which never feels crowded, is a great choice.

One of the workers slicing meats& cheese for packaging, yelled at another worker because she had walked over to help a customer at the deli, & had to grab some containers in the back "for her to help her"; worker coming back to finish helping deli customer; had to yell over to that worker, that in fact she was helping deli customers. Some issue there, as to who wants to be boss perhaps. Fairly well stocked in store otherwise. Saddens me to see, that Walmart continues to substitute their own brands for brands I would prefer, rather than the lower standard products they are putting out. I called in advance of coming to Kroger @ New Castle to purchase tickets to the Beach Boys concert on 8/5 at Conner Prairie! I was told that the advanced sale tickets were $29 each. When I came into the store I was told that the $29 tickets were not available for the August 5 concert by the Beach Boys. It was printed on the tickets!. I can only guess that the person that spoke to me on the phone did not know how to read! This is certainly not up to Kroger's standards!

My little car took $42.01 filled up. I was told by Kroger it should go back on my card in 24 hours. Will it be returned to my card on a Saturday!?!!?!! Who knows, but if you use your debit card at the pump expect a hold on your card. I don't need that money for anything today but what if I did!!...It's just to bad i guess.!
