This gas station has been in the center of Morristown, IN for a very long time, and although it has…read morenot really been updated, it does sell many of the basics someone may need. It is open 24/7 and they do serve hot meals such as pizza made to order, and other hot deli type items. The fuel prices are pretty much the same price as everywhere else, and this is the only 24/7 place in Morristown, so it can be very convenient at after hours times. The pizza taste better than frozen but not as good as a real pizza shops, but then again, it is low priced too. So I guess you get what you pay for. They also stock candy, snacks, beef jerky, smokes, soda pops, chips, fresh pre-made submarine sandwiches, oil, kerosene, and much more. So if you need a fuel or have the late night munchies and don't want to cook, come here for a quick bite to eat. The store is kept pretty clean and organized, and stays very busy during the daylight hours. The staff has usually always been friendly to me anytime day or night I would go here.

The Morristown VP is a joke. The way some of the employees treat customers is ridiculous. The worse…read moreones are Michelle and Melinda. They treat people like crap. They curse in front of customers and talk about drugs and how to pass drug test. This store is in a small town and normally gets a lot of business but the way people are treated the regulars stop going unless they have too. I use to go at least once a day but now go to the other station. This store also can't seem to keep the coolers stocked either but yet you can see all the product behind them. If you ever come to Morristown don't stop at VP. Go to the other station or drive to the next town.

The restrooms were spotless. The store offers an amazing amount of supplies for truckers, campers and travelers. I saw everything from small refrigerators to a complete selection of electronic needs. I saw a typical assortment of convenience store roller food and fresh fruits and other grab and go meals. They carried beer, but I did not see locally crafted beer. There is a small McDonald's and Subways as part of the complex. They have showers for truckers. I can't talk to those, but the area looked clean. Outside, they have even built a fenced-in dog park. The park was small with benches for owners. I've never seen a service station with a dog park. The gas was priced average for the area. Parking and the pumps are easy to access. The traffic flow is pretty good. I'll keep stopping here.

I'm no trucker, but if I was, I wouldn't mind stopping at this Love's Travel Stop. Did you know:…read moreThey have showers here! There are four of them. I didn't take a shower, but I did use the restroom, and the cleanliness level of the restroom was just OK. Could have used a once-through. There are also two fast-food restaurants: McDonald's and Subway. I don't eat at either of these places, but do you know what I do eat? I eat banana pudding, and you can find some here in the grab-and-go refrigerated case inside the convenience store. It was OK (it ain't no Buc-ees banana pudding), but if you're in the mood for banana pudding, this one at Love's will do. You also find all kinds of things for your cars and trucks, cooking items, blankets, clothing, sandals, games, toys and lots of packaged snacks. Get some hot dogs (two for $5) in flavors like regular, smoked cheddar and jalapeño cheddar. Surprisingly, they offered cut fruit in an iced cooler by the cash register. Things like pineapple, grapes and watermelon in cups. I don't know why that surprises me, but I'm glad a gas station thinks it's important to highlight nutritious snacks.

    Paveys Country Store - Gas

Is it a convenience store that sells groceries or a grocery store that sells gas? It's a hybrid. I…read morecould smell the fried chicken when I opened the car door. And I was starving. Paveys Country Store opened in 2023 . Paveys is a chain popular in eastern central Indiana. This store is fully stocked with groceries, has fresh meats (some local), fresh produce and a deli counter. They have a fried foods counter with chicken, tenderloins, potato wedges and fried mushrooms. People were lined up. They have a little counter in the front of the store where you can eat. I had a fried chicken breast and their deli coleslaw. The breading on the chicken was crispy and fabulous. The meat was a little dry and the coleslaw tasted like run of the mill grocery coleslaw. My husband had the breaded tenderloin, which was phenomenal. The breading was seasoned well and the pork, while thick, was tender and juicy. The $7 sandwich included two large tenderloins with all the fixings. The large bun didn't hold up, but they rarely do on a good tenderloin. It was a 5 star tenderloin. We also picked up some locally made hotdogs. The grocery offers a lot of locally made products, including deer summer sausage. Prices are great, not what you'd expect from a convenience store. Service was a bit indifferent. There was no engaging conversation or smile. But it was late on the day. The store is immaculate inside. There's plenty of close parking and the structure is accessible. You can pick up lottery tickets and there's an ATM in the store.
