All they had in the case were already quartered. I asked and the went to the back returning with a whole bird. Weighed it slapped a price on It and sent me on my way. Great experiences don't have to be huge, sometimes it's the little things that mean the most. Fast forward to this afternoon, as I walk in 2 employees greeting me. The store is clean, selection is adequate and the employees are courteous and friendly. Produce looks fresh, purchased salad fixings today and I'm pleased.

The prices are not the lowest but they are not outlandish and they do have sales from time to time which is nice. They accept the commons forms of payment as well as things such as WIC or EBT/SNAP. They also process money orders through cash payment at their customer service both and have an ATM near the entrance. The cashiers have always been polite and handled transactions smoothly for me and my family. The store is older but has always been clean when we have shopped there. I really don't have any complaints just my own experience shopping there and my older teens walking down to buy snacks or to grab things like milk or juice for the family. We like having the store to shop at nearby and supporting local businesses.

I may move to Fountain City, just to be closer. Fountain City is run by local Amish. They produce and sell just about everything including furniture, dry goods, cheese and other dairy products. The shop is immense and immaculate. The shelves are filled with colorful candy, locally produced grains and flour, pasta galore, and more. At one end of the store is a bakery selling fresh donuts, pies and fry cakes. At the other end is a deli, making fresh sandwiches to order. The sandwiches are amazing. I had a turkey and ham sandwich on rye. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese and fresh toppings. This was the best sandwich that I have had in a long time and it was $3.99. There is no place to eat inside, so you must take your food to go. The staff were friendly and efficient. The cheeses are amazing and flavorful. I picked up horseradish and bacon cheeses. The prices are reasonable. You can even buy chicken coups and outbuildings. There was an extensive collection of bird food and custom feeders. There is plenty of mid week parking, but probably crowded on weekends. Bring a cooler. This shop is fabulous.

(Forgive the preposition at the end of the sentence please !). Before Covid we bought an RK 37 hydrostatic tractor. Then the hunt was on for 3 point accessories. If this RK didn't have it the ones in Kokomo or Greenville did. Service excellent. We have had a couple accidents with that tractor and have had some repairs to do. Service at the Muncie Store has been top-notch. When we're shopping this is one of the places that we always price test and many times we make the 20+ mile trip to Muncie as we are this morning. I guess the only negative that I see is that we tend to eat too much popcorn!
