We ordered in the morning and up until nearly 7 PM did not have much understanding of what was going on and frankly still don't. Because of the 3rd party w/o going into detail seems to have a great deal of power here, Steve spent a long day talking to a very frustrated, not pleased me in trying to understand what was going and, what wasn't. I want to reiterate that this was in no manner the fault of the Walmart Store, Management, or Employees. This is all a problem with the 3rd party upper Management has employed for delivery. Steve had offered to have my groceries delivered by, Steve. The Store Manager. I declined as this is not his responsibility. We continued to try to resolve the matter by making the responsible party perform their job to no avail. In my last conversation with Steve (Store Manager) that his Assistant Manager, Robert, was on his way to my home with needed food items. While waiting Steve continued to be calm (I have my moments but I try) as Steve was so patient. I'm usually fairly nice but was seriously stressed. Steve wished me a Happy Thanksgiving, was very calm, very professional, very courteous. I finally stopped talking and we hung up and a few minutes later, Robert was in front of the house. Robert (Assistant Manager) brought the groceries to my door and would not accept any gratuity. I could only thank him and compliment him at 1-800-WALMART and, by writing this long-winded review which is part of my problem kind like, diarrhea. Lol Thank you so much Steve and Robert at Walmart here in New Castle, IN. I hope they had a HAPPY THANKSGIVING along with a few drinks!!!!

Kroger has completely ruined the shopping experience all together at the stores due to special…read moresavings that are advertised everywhere only if you have special apps. It shouldn't take extra steps to go shopping and every savings if you do a bunch of extra work. At Walmart I can walk in, grab what I want and check out easy and cheap. At Kroger it takes double as long bc you have to spend a hour on your phone trying to get deals then hope it's priced correctly when you check out. To much extra work, I don't even like thinking about Kroger anymore.

One compliant I do have though is that I've had trouble find meat in stock, especially if shopping at night. I have found that I can trust Kroger employees to do a great job shopping me when I place a pickup order. If you're not using the Kroger app, you're really missing out. Coupons, weekly ad, the ability to make a grocery list, see out of stock items, and see how many fuel point you have all come in handy.

I went in here for the first time the other day. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a…read morebutcher in there. I ended up purchasing some meat while I was in there. It is not the biggest store in the world but they did have a deli counter as well and it was pretty busy as I walked in and looked around. Everything seemed to be pretty clean inside and I am sure I will stop back in and check out what they have to offer in their meat department again. The cashier was friendly and got me checked out quickly. There was also plenty of parking in front of the store.
