This skate park is located in George B Halliday Park, which has several baseball diamonds, basketball courts, batting cages, bleachers, concessions. Restrooms are near the baseball areas. Park closes around 10 or 11 pm. Skate Park is next to a ditch, shaded by large oak trees. Skate Park does not appear to be well lit, but the adjacent baseball diamonds are. There is a larger skate park in Mobile, Public Safety Park, but that is over 30 miles south of Bay Minnette.

After the cancellation last year it was a beautiful night that we were able to get out and meet up with friends and neighbors as meet some great folks. You need/want it...they have it; surf boards of all sizes and materials, skate boards sizes/materials/wheels, clothes, socks, padding...everything. The only thing that I could "use" was the delightful coffee bar in the back of the store. This alone is worth stopping in for. The quality of their coffees could put Starbucks to shape. They have comfortable seating were you can sit and watch the skate board people practice. This is truly a wonderful concept store! Best wishes and I hope to see you when we return to GS in 2019.
