I thought Freeport was just a place in the road along US Hwy 331 with a Hardees. But to get to this park, we had to go through the real Freeport. Freeport is still a very small town but wow...the sports complex they have built is legit. It looks like it was built recently. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, several baseball/softball fields, a walking trail, and a disc golf course. The disc golf course is a nice mix and is challenging with several water hazards looming. The facilities are clean and state of the art. The bathroom I used, didn't have a light switch but turned on when I opened the door. The complex is well-taken care of and it looks as if there is more to be added to it soon. For a park in a small town, in the middle of nowhere, this is an exceptional sports complex.

She was put with boys aged 8-13. I called the next morning and spoke to Glen Fox, he said he would switch her to the varsity boy's team. I said I didn't want her to get hurt playing with them and the little boys were of no training value, so I would like a refund for the two days she would not be attending. He flatly refused any type of refund! No where on the website did it say this was an all boy program and that there were no age groups. I hardly think it was fair that my seventeen year old daughter scored every goal on the little kids, who quickly became frustrated, nor would it be fair for her to play with 17-18 year old boys! Mr. Fox is certainly not worried about the kids, his only concern is the money he is collecting. Do yourself a favor and choose a different camp for your child.

Nice facilities but administration and planning is lacking. This morning was the opening of a…read moresoccer tournament where presale entrance tickets were offered. The line for entry with PRESOLD tickets was over 200 feet long and 20 minute wait vs the "purchase tickets" onsite entry point was just 12 feet, and 2 minutes. This makes no sense, staff at the entrance needed to be doubled.
